Chapter Text
Porsche’s alarm clock flew into the wall with the first annoying crack, falling to the floor with a crash from where it continued to methodically drip on his brains. He crossly got up from the pillow, giving this piece of shit a withering look, and collapsed face down into the pillow again with an angry growl.
Early mornings weren’t his favorite topic, but this one was the worst.
Today was the first day of the new academic year, which means the beginning of endless hours of sleep at the last desk, written-off homework, competitions in support of the university, jokes and banter with his friends-idiots and, of course, just an unthinkable number of efforts not to die from exhaustion, combining all this with the bartending job in night shifts. Porsche was always too lazy to study, but during the holidays he managed to get so used to his freedom and nightlife that the very thought of returning to campus made him suffer.
But there was something else... Going back to the university meant seeing the person Porsche hated the most every single day. A man who by his mere presence poisoned all Porsche’s entire existence and... oh, fuck him.
“Don't think about him, Porsche, okay? Don't think, don't think, don't think!” he said to himself one hundred times and then again.
Growling angrily into the pillow one more time, he got out of the bed and immediately went to the shower. There were no sounds coming from the next room, which meant his younger brother Chay was still asleep.
Porsche was looking at himself from the bathroom mirror, rumpled and annoyed. Slightly tanned from the scorching sun, with a mess on his head and a couple of fresh hickeys at the base of his neck after having sex with a beautiful girl behind the Hum bar. Damn, he hated it so much when girls left their marks on his skin.
Furiously swiping at his neck with a washcloth, he tried to remove all reminders of last night from his skin. Warm water gently flowed down his body, but he couldn’t relax and give himself at least a few minutes to enjoy the moment. Something seemed to be urging him to finish all the preparations faster and go to the university, which only made him lose his temper much more.
Throwing the washcloth into the place, Porsche washed off all the foam and wrapped himself in a towel, returning to his room. He lazily picked out the first black shirt and trousers in the closet that fit perfectly on his ass, and without even drying his hair went down to the kitchen.
The house was absolutely quiet, so he had to look into Chay's room and kick the little asshole, who was obviously going to oversleep his classes.
“Come on, Chay, get up,” Porsche rubbed his shoulder and got... well, absolutely nothing in response. “It's time for you to study, I won't suffer alone.”
“Mmhmhm,” mumbled a boy and, turning over on the other side, sweetly snored on.
Fuck, why was Porsche the only one who can't fucking sleep?
“Come on, you have 10 minutes, otherwise you'll get to school yourself, okay?” he muttered, leaving the door to his younger brother's bedroom open.
Going into the kitchen Porsche pulled out a bottle of orange juice from the refrigerator. Just one look at the food made him feel sick and he decided not to have breakfast. Probably because of the early rise he completely lost his appetite.
Somehow he drank the juice, but unfortunately didn't get any pleasure from it. There wasn't much that pleased him at all this crappy morning, especially the nightmarish mess in the living room, which he began to clean up while waiting for his brother.
“Wow, what are you doing?” asked Chay in bewilderment, finding Porsche folding things that seemed to have been lying around since last week. “It's still so early, and you started cleaning? Are you out of your mind?”
“No, it's all right,” Porsche continued to get mad at himself for being mad at everything else. “We don't have any food, so you'll have breakfast at school.”
“Okay,” his brother nodded, buttoning his shirt and missing one loop. “Are you sure you're okay? You look like you're getting ready to kill…”
Chay followed him around the house while Porsche was trying to pack a backpack for uni. He literally turned the whole table upside down and successfully found a pen and a couple of notebooks that still looked presentable, throwing them into a bag.
“I'm fine,” this time Porsche tried to sound more convincing. “It's just… Today is the beginning of a new semester and I'm a little upset.”
“Are you nervous?” Chay finally stopped digging into his shirt, buttoning it properly, and then tried to catch his brother’s eye. That little bastard, he knows that Porsche’s eyes always give him away.
“Yes,” said Porsche, turning away from him. “I mean, no, it's fine.”
The last thing Porsche wanted right now was to sort out his own feelings and try to find the cause of his irritation. It was enough that he didn't get a damn good night's sleep. But Chay could always read him like an open book, and in order not to get caught on this, Porsche decided to hurry up and end this ridiculous conversation.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, exactly,” he ruffled Chay’s combed hair, pushing him to the exit. “Come on, or we'll be late.”

After parking his bike near the entrance to the campus, the first thing Porsche did was to search for his friends in the crowd of students. And while he was walking, trying to put his hair in order, he caught at least a dozen smiles from new beautiful girls, which could not but pleased him very much. The attention of the girls has always raised his self-confidence to the stars, and because of that he always used it almost blindly.
Jom and Tem were nowhere to be seen, but Porsche met several familiar faces with whom we smoked and discussed the news. He was glad to get back to where he was always the center of attention. Everyone at the university knew him and everyone wanted to communicate with him because he was the best in the sports program. Porsche could pick up almost any girl he wanted, and the teachers looked at his grades through their fingers. It was fucking awesome!
And yet, even walking through the familiar corridors and catching a lot of licking glances, Porsche couldn’t get rid of the strange feeling that he had experienced since waking up. Everything inside him seemed to be burning with impatience, and the more time he spent in the campus, the stronger it became. It was as if something was driving him forward all the time, and he couldn't resist it.
When Porsche had almost reached the classroom where the lesson was supposed to take place, he suddenly felt that he was knocked down. He was really scared and fell forward heavily under someone's weight, and the joyful cries of his friends fell on his poor ears.
“Damn, you assholes!” Porsche smiled, trying to throw Jom off his back, but the man was leaning on him with all his weight. “We only fucking saw each other yesterday!”
“And what? How do we know if you'll be here at least once more this semester?”
And that’s true, last year Porsche went to his classes no more than once a month, but then he was terribly lectured by the administration. They didn't expel him just because they couldn't win the competition without him, but they promised that if Porsche would treat his studies so badly again, they would no longer have the opportunity to cover him and blah-blah-blah. So this year Porsche was going to be a good boy.
“Don't say you're not glad to see us,” Jom whinnied, reaching out and trying to tousle Porsche’s hair, which was already in complete mess.
“Yeah, I didn't even have time to rest from you,” Porsche slapped him on the hand, but wanted to slap in his face which didn’t let him to be bored any day or night.
“What are you doing here so early?” Tem's surprised tone made Porsche go back to the memories of that annoying feeling that drove him here and gave him no rest. What the fuck was he supposed to answer if he had no idea himself?
“Chay asked me to drop him off early, they have some important things to do there before classes,” lied Porsche, looking away and around as if he was searching for someone again.
“Poor kid,” Jom sympathetically patted Porsche’s on the shoulder. “Shall we go? Or our seats will be occupied again and we will have to sit in front.”
Porsche grimaced at that thought. He didn't want to bring the start of classes any closer, but even less he wanted to sit in the front rows, pretending to be a good boy. They wanted him to go to classes, and there he was. But no one promised them that he would study, okay?
Already approaching the audience, Porsche was suddenly covered with anxiety so much that he thought he was going to be sick. The tension that had been tormenting him all morning reached its peak at that moment, and when he was about to turn back and cowardly ran away, loud shouts and screams, snatches of conversations and even some hooting reached his ears. He took a step inside the class, falling into the whirlpool of universal delight and jubilation, the epicenter of which was, of course, him.
Kinn.
A smug bastard who stood in the middle of the classroom, stucking his tongue in his ex's mouth right in front of everyone’s eyes.
At that moment, the feeling of impatience let Porsche go and he was covered by another feeling – almost wild anger.
Not paying any attention to what was happening around him, Kinn relaxed leaning on the table behind him with his hand gripping a handsome skinny guy with a hard touch, forcing him to almost lie on top while his tongue selflessly licked the boy’s mouth wide open for him.
Fucking asshole.
“Didn't those two break up?” Jom asked, staring blankly at this disgusting picture. Porsche wanted to throw up with a vengeance, so he rolled his eyes and walked past this piece of shit until his fists brushed Kinn’s fucking perfect face.
Porsche hated him so much that he couldn’t breathe.
His friends went straight after him, and even though Porsche didn't really think about anything because of the veil of rage that covered him from the unfolding picture, he still felt the back of his head burning through him.
Without turning around, Porsche walked to the farthest desk, threw his backpack on it, and then fell into place himself, burying his face in the forearms. Listening to everyone around showering fucking Kinn and this performance that he put on here with raptures was a real test for Porsche’s nerves. Tem and Jom were sitting down next to him and talking about something in an attempt to distract him, but Porsche all unwittingly turned to hear noises in the class, hating himself and cursing everyone around him. Especially Kinn and his fucking litter.
And really, didn't they break up??
Glancing at the clock on his phone, Porsche decided that he would still have time to wash his face. His hands itched to punch Kinn in the face when he passed by and felt his gaze on himself again.
What are you looking at, you bastard?
The toilet was practically empty, but there was clearly someone in the cabin, so Porsche suppressed an acute desire to beat his head against the wall. That's exactly why... fuck, exactly why he didn't want to come here so much! He knew he'd see this idiot and go off the rails.
But why the hell were you in such a hurry then, Porsche? Oh, fuck…
After washing his face with cold water twice, Porsche tried to force himself to calm down. There was no reason to be so angry, he told himself, but as soon as he looked up and saw Kinn standing behind him, all the arguments or reasons were sent to hell.
“What do you want?” Porsche spat out, while Kinn’s tenacious gaze outlined his figure from head to toe.
“I'm just curious,” Kinn drawled irritatingly in his favorite manner. “We haven't seen each other for so long, and you're already so furious. What have I managed to do?”
Pretending to be an idiot, aren't you, Kinn?
“Your very presence pisses me off,” Porsche snapped back. “I'd rather not see you for the same amount of time”.
“I missed you too,” Kinn grinned, coming up to Porsche from behind. Their eyes — Porsche’s fierce and Kinn’s haughty — met in the reflection of the mirror.
“Doesn’t your boyfriend mind that you miss someone else?” Porsche blurted out, and immediately realized how terribly wrong the brain of this sick bastard would understand him. Damn god, next to Kinn he couldn’t filter his speech at all.
“Are you jealous?” dark brows furrowed on a smug face. Kinn was all ears, still studying Porsche’s reflection with his eyes. He looked like a predator who couldn't get enough of his prey. And Porsche couldn't make him to stop watching.
“Keep dreaming,” Porsche answered defiantly, but the closer Kinn stood to him, the more his last brain cells were ready to work. He hated Kinn, so why the hell was he reacting to him like this?
“Don’t you want to tell me why you ignored my calls?”
“Oh, really?” Porsche decided to pretend like a fool, knowing how much it pisses Kinn off. “Apparently, I have a filter on smug assholes like you, sorry not sorry.”
He was about to step away from the sink to grab a paper towel and wipe his hands, when Kinn blocked his way, grabbing Porsche’s wrist and pressing him back. Porsche felt the edge of the sink against his lower back, and Kinn's strong body pressed against his.
“Let me go, you idiot,” Porsche tried to make an effort to get out of his tight grip, but instead he only left wet marks of his hands on Kinn's snow white shirt, causing him to growl in annoyance.
“I won't let you go until we talk,” he replied, roughly pinning Porsche’s wrist to his chest so hard that Porsche’s fingers instantly went numb. “Tell me, why didn't you answer me?!”
“Go ask your fucking ex, asshole, maybe you'll find the answer in his mouth,” Porsche hissed angrily right in Kinn's face, still trying to twist his arm out of the grip.
“Fuck, Porsche,” the man was losing his temper. Kinn's deep dark eyes looked at Porsche with either thirst or a little madness, and Porsche couldn't figure it all out. Everyone read him like an open book, but Kinn was so closed and incomprehensible to Porsche that sometimes he went crazy about it. “You know me, I won't let you step out of here until you answer me.”
“Well, then I'd rather die here,” Porsche jumped up in response. He didn't care what Kinn would do, because in the two years that they have known each other, Porsche thought he’ve already seen all the facets of Kinn’s wildness. “And you're not going to get any shit from me anyway, so you better get lost.”
“Don't try my patience, Porsche,” he hissed, leaning so close that there was almost no space left between their faces.
Porsche felt Kinn’s hot breath on his lips, his hands clasping him in an attempt to hold. He looked at Kinn and slowly, second by second, he went crazy from the closeness that he hated, but wanted so much.
Just a few weeks without him, and now you've already turned into a puddle, right, Porsche? You fucking idiot.
“Maybe I should remind you where we left off, and then you’d tell me why the hell you've been ignoring me for months?!”
Kinn's lips were so dangerously close that they almost covered Porsche’s as he breathed out these words. Porsche could hardly think of anything anymore, intoxicated by his proximity, and when he was about to lose the last drops of self-control and surrender to Kinn’s power (oh god, again), then a trill rang out throughout the corridor, marking the beginning of classes. The door of one of the cabins immediately opened, and one of Kinn's annoying friends came out of there.
“Oops, how embarrassing,” Tay sang without a hint of regret, and looked at Porsche and Kinn with a dirty smile on his face.
Thank God, Kinn was distracted enough for Porsche to push him away, and he shot out of the toilet, trying to clean himself up on the go. His face was burning as much as his wrist, and there were so many thoughts in his head, each of which stung him like a bee, that he was afraid he simply couldn't cope with it.
Jesus fuck, Porsche!!! What the hell are you doing???
Kinn tried to eat his ex alive right in front of you, and you were going to kiss him?? Where were your fucking brains??!!
Replaying this over and over in his head, Porsche got back into the classroom, where the lesson had already begun, and apologizingly collapsed into his seat next to Tem.
“Dude, are you okay?” Porsche heard a whisper from Jom, who leaned towards him with a worried face.
Of course he was fucking fine. Yeah, just the best of all.
A few minutes later, when Porsche was about to come to his senses, Kinn and his company entered the audience like the fucking kings of this world. The icy gaze of the dark eyes tried to burn a hole in Porsche, but he decided to ignore it, turning away and nuzzling his hands folded in front of him.
The last thing Porsche remember before falling asleep was the withering gaze of Kinn’s ex, who was looking at him from the other end of the audience.
Fuck. Them. All.
