Izuku Midoriya was the son of Inko Midoriya, a lawyer known for being a beast in court. She was a caring woman and she dearly loved her only son. On the other end Izuku’s father, Hisashi Midoriya had left on the boy’s first birthday. Inko never talked about him and Izuku never asked.
Izuku was a bright child always listening to his mother.
Izuku was quirkless. It hadn’t affected his relation with his mother who had only been sad for her son. Izuku had always wanted to be a hero. But unbeknownst to her Izuku hadn’t given up on his dream.
Life at home was fine. But school was something else. When the news of him being quirkless arrived it spread so fast that in less than 30 minutes Izuku was alone in the very back of the room. His “friends” turned against him and some kinds even started using their quirk on him.
Izuku grew up. Home was still the same safe haven. His mom would often come back a little late but she still took care of her baby boy. School was a different story. Kids got meaner with him. Bakugo and some others bullied him. He was a test subject for quirks as well. He had gained some scars from all of this. But his mother didn’t know. He was hiding everything from her. The fact that she came back home late helped him patch up without her noticing.
He received his first death threat at 7. At 11 his former best friend told him to jump of a roof and hope for a quirk in his next life. The same day he got attacked by a sludge villain and his idol, All Might, the symbol of peace, the number one hero consecutively saved him... and crushed his dream.
That day he came back home late. His mother was already home and was worried sick for him. His phone was broken and he hadn’t been able to answer his mom’s texts and calls.
That night his mother discovered everything.
The next day Izuku didn’t go to school.
