Work Text:

The terminal is packed. Families coming and people going, the sounds of laughter and tears fill the large open space. Sunlight streams in through the large windows that line the walls of the arrivals gate.

Bradley leans against the wall. His sunglasses are perched low on his nose, blocking enough of the sun to not hurt his eyes.

It’s been one hundred and eighty-two days since he’s last seen Jake. It’s been two hundred sixty-two thousand eight hundred minutes since Bradley last felt Jake’s lips on his. It’s not that Bradley has been counting, he hasn’t.

It’s just that he misses Jake.

It happened organically. After the miracle mission, Jake walked up and shook his hand on the carrier. Bradley grasped his hand a little too firmly and heat crawled down his spine. He didn’t mean to squeeze Jake’s hand a little harder. Just like he didn’t mean to flinch a little at the warm touch of the hand on his back when they were all back stateside at the Hard Deck.

It started slow.

Jake coming over and watching football, sitting on his end of the couch. The small glances shared over good plays and commercials. One thing led to another and Jake ended up shotgun in the Bronco with Bradley driving nowhere with the windows down and music blaring.

Their first kiss happened when Bradley least expected it. They were in Bradley’s kitchen, butchering a pie recipe when Bradley turned and Jake’s face was right there.

“I’m going to kiss you now,” Jake says with a smirk, his eyes dancing. Bradley dumbly nods.

Jake leans in and sparks fly over Bradley’s mouth at the light touch. Jake’s palm is soft against Bradley’s face, his thumb gently stroking against Bradley’s cheek as they stand in the middle of Bradley’s kitchen in the middle of the afternoon.

Bradley pulls himself from the memories. The shouts of families that are crowding the gate fill the air and Bradley looks over. The gate is slowly filling with bodies. Smiling faces of men and women in uniform fill the welcoming area. A small itch is under Bradley’s skin. It’s just a feeling. His skin is too tight and there’s a nervousness inside of him.

It could be that Bradley doesn’t sleep well without Jake next to him. The calming presence and breathing that keeps Bradley in the moment. It could be that Bradley misses waking up to Jake next to him, his arm thrown over Bradley’s chest as he face is buried into Bradley’s neck. Bradley misses the touches, the hand holding. He misses the grocery shopping and the fights. He misses how Jake will walk away only to come back after two hours later still fired up but ready to talk it out.

Bradley shifts against the wall. His eyes scan the crowd for the familiar blonde hair but he doesn’t see him. His phone buzzes in his pocket and Bradley pulls it out. A smile spreads over his face and he slides the green arrow.

“Hey,” Bradley flushes at how breathless he sounds, “I’m at the gate.”

“I know,” Jake’s voice is low in his ear. The warm familiar feeling spreads through Bradley at the sound.

“Yeah?” Bradley cranes over the large family holding signs for their son and father, “where are you? I don’t see you.”

Jake laughs softly. A shiver moves down Bradley’s spine at the sound. “That’s because you aren’t looking in the right area.”

Bradley’s brow furrows. “What?”

“Look right.”

Bradley turns and Jake is standing in the middle of the space in his sweats and Bradley’s hoodie. His duffle is already slung over his shoulder and his sunglasses are tucked into the front of his hoodie. A large smile covers his face, his dimples dig into the side of his cheeks. Bradley hangs up the phone. Jake smiles wider, sliding his phone into his pocket and Bradley tries to not sprint to cover the distance.

Jake smells like cotton deodorant and aftershave. Bradley buries his face into Jake’s neck and wraps his arms around Jake’s waist, pulling him in tighter. Jake’s arms are strong around Bradley’s body. His hand runs through Bradley’s curls and Bradley shivers.

“I missed you,” Bradley breathes out against Jake’s neck. Jake’s arms tighten around Bradley keeping him close.

“I missed you, too, baby,” Jake says just as quiet.

There’s a bubble around them. A moment just for them. The noise of the reunions and families slowly fade away until the only thing that Bradley hears is the slow steady breaths from Jake.

“Do you-”

Bradley shakes his head. As soon as they move he can’t hold Jake like this and this is the only thing Bradley has been dreaming about since the first night he couldn’t sleep without Jake.

“I love you,” Bradley says as he pulls back enough to look Jake in the face, “like I really love you.”

Jake smiles and presses a kiss to Bradley’s lips. It’s short and just enough to put a bandaid on Bradley’s heart.

“I love you more,” Jake says with a smile and Bradley shakes his head.

“Not everything is a competition,” Bradley grumbles as he untangles himself from Jake’s body.

Jake laughs and winds his arm around Bradley’s waist. Bradley goes easy. Jake’s hand is heavy on his hip, strong and secure. The weight that’s been in Bradley’s chest is slowly lifting with every light caress of Jake’s thumb against his skin just under his waistband.

“I don’t know,” Jake says lightly. He puts his sunglasses on as they step out into the California sun. He reaches over and pushes Bradley’s glasses higher on his nose to block the rays. “I got another kill. That puts me at-”

Bradley leans over and kisses the side of Jake’s mouth. “Almost as bad as Mav.”

Jake smiles and turns his head enough to slot their lips together. It’s a little deeper than before. Jake pressing harder but not asking for more. Bradley lets him. He lets Jake own the kiss basking in the feeling of Jake’s presence.

“How is Pops?” Jake asks against Bradley's lips, stealing another kiss before pulling away, “hanger still standing?”

Bradley smiles. “Yeah, the hanger is fine. Ice swears Mav spends more time in it than he does at home.”

Jake makes a quiet noise of acknowledgement. They quickly cross the street towards the parking garage letting a pleasant lull in conversation fill the space between them. The silence is comforting. The pressure of having to talk isn’t there. Bradley pulls Jake’s bag off his shoulder and throws it into the back of the Bronco. He slides by Jake and pulls open his car door for him.

“Ever the gentleman,” Jake says with a smile and Bradley flushes.

“Just want to be-”

Jake presses a kiss to his lips silencing Bradley’s words.

“The sooner we get home, the sooner we can shower and curl up in bed and never leave it,” Jake says and Bradley smiles.

“You don’t want anything special? No dinner? No date night?”

Jake shakes his head. Bradley tries to hide the smile as he rounds the Bronco and crawls into the driver’s seat. The ignition kicks on. Bradley pulls out of the parking spot, his hand resting on the gear shift. Jake’s fingers slide on top of Bradley’s gently holding him.

It’s quiet on the way back. The driver is shorter on the way home than coming. Jake climbs out as soon as Bradley puts the Bronco into park, going to pull his bag from the car. Bradley locks it and walks up the steps to the small house they own together. Jake’s chest presses against Bradley’s back. His hands grasp onto Bradley’s waist holding him tight. Bradley fails to repress the shudder that runs through him at the light touch.

Jake’s hands move gently over Bradley’s body. It’s soothing and feels like home. Bradley stutters out a small breath, his hands shake as he inserts the key into the lock. Jake hooks his chin onto Bradley’s shoulder and presses closer.

“Shower first then sleep?” Jake asks as he gently guides Bradley through the door.

“I mean, yeah. If that’s what you want,” Bradley says, stepping into their house, “It’s only three in the afternoon. Sleep now, dinner later, sleep some more?”

“I like how you think, Mr. Bradshaw,” Jake murmurs as he presses a kiss to the back of Bradley’s neck. Bradley sinks back into the warm feeling of Jake holding him. “Come on, shower then sleep, I promise.”

Bradley smiles and pulls himself from Jake’s arms and immediately misses the warmth. He pulls off the outer Hawaiian shirt off his shoulders. The floor creaks under his feet as Bradley moves through the house. It’s small but it’s theirs. Their second anniversary was the day they signed the lease. Bradley peels himself out of the rest of his clothes and turns on the shower. He pulls a second towel from under the sink out and places it on the top of the toilet for Jake.

Bradley throws his shirt into the hamper. He strips the rest of his clothes off and puts them into the wicker basket. The water is warm when Bradley steps under it. The old shower has weak pressure but it’s enough to chase the chill. The curtain moves and Bradley steps the best he can to the side to let Jake have time under the spray.

They don’t say much. Just quiet words and simple I love you’s as they wash each other with soap. Bradley reaches for the shampoo and pours some into his hands. Jake blinks up at him. Water droplets run down Jake’s face, his long lashes are clumped together making the blue green pop.

Jake smiles softly and scoops the soap out from Bradley’s hand. Bradley opens his mouth but Jake gently bullies him under the spray again.

“Let me,” Jake says quietly, “I’ve missed this.”

Bradley closes his eyes and lets Jake massage the soap into his hair. Jake’s fingers scratching along Bradley’s scalp pulling soft noises from Bradley’s lips. Jake tilts Bradley’s head back under the water washing out the soap.

“I want to take care of you,” Bradley says as he rubs the water out of his face, “come on, Jake. You were the one deployed, not me.”

Jake smiles and shakes his head. “Just- let me have this.Thought about this for a few months.”

Bradley smiles softly. The water is warm against his back and he lets Jake reach for the conditioner. Jake's fingers are soft. They move through the wet strands slow enough to savor the moment. Jake’s body is warm pressing against Bradley’s front and the water on Bradley’s back finally chases the chill in him.

“Sleep after?” Bradley says, trying to stifle a yawn.

Jake fingers tug just hard enough on Bradley’s hair to tilt his head to finish washing his hair. Jake presses a kiss to the underside of Bradley’s jaw before he twists Bradley out from under the spray. Jake quickly washed his hair. Short, clinical movements not savoring the warm water or the feeling of freedom.

“Yeah,” Jake says easily, turning off the water, “shower, sleep, wake up, repeat.”

Bradley smiles. Jake pulls back the curtain and reaches for his towel. Bradley follows. His feet sink into the soft bath mat on the floor as he grabs his towel from the rack. Bradley quickly towels himself off and runs the towel once through his hair. He glances over his shoulder and Jake is wrapping the towel around his waist.

It’s not Jake's beauty that makes Bradley’s heartbeat a little harder in his chest. It’s the fact that Jake, decorated pilot, asshat on the bad days and insufferably cocky on the good days, loves Bradley. Jake saw through the posturing, the words and taunts. Jake saw through the cracks in Bradley and saw the person underneath the bravado.

And Jake loves that person with an intensity Bradley feels like he’s pulling G’s every second he’s around Jake.

Jake looks up. His eyes soften and his smile spreads over his face.

“Penny for your thoughts?” Jake asks. His voice is low and teasing. The Texas drawl drags over them making Bradley want more than his tired body can produce.

“Missed you,” Bradley says quietly. He lets his emotions cling to his words. He lets Jake hear the exhaustion that still hugs Bradley like a blanket he can’t remove.

Jake steps forward. He reaches for Bradley’s towel and wraps it around Bradley’s hips. His fingers brush against Bradley’s skin sending a pleasant warmth through him.

“I know,” Jake says quietly, “this one was hard for me too. There wasn’t a second I wasn't thinking about you or the trouble we’d get in together on the carrier.”

He looks up. Jake’s eyes shine like sapphires and it’s cheesy but Bradley doesn’t care. He’s in love and his man is back and Bradley isn’t going to let him leave again anytime soon.

“Your eyes,” Jake says softly. Bradley’s brow pinches and Jake reaches up to smooth the pull. “I dreamed of your eyes. They’re the perfect shade of brown and they hold so much of you in them. I hated fighting with you for all those years because when you’d look at me, they weren’t shining.”

Bradley smiles and ducks his head. “I never knew how to make you happy.” Jake snorts and nudges Bradley towards the door. Bradley turns and opens the small wooden door and walks towards their bedroom. “No matter what I did, you always had something to say.”

Jake laughs softly from behind him. Their bedroom is like the rest of the house, small and outdated but covered with them.

Their dressers pushed against walls with pictures sitting on the surface. The laundry basket next to the closet overflows with clothes. Bradley walks over to his dresser and pulls it open retrieving a pair of boxers. He looks back at Jake.

“Yours or mine?” He asks and Jake slides the towel from his hips and gives Bradley a short nod. Bradley throws him a pair before pulling another out and sliding the drawer shut.

“It got me hot,” Jake says with a smirk. He’s leaning over stepping into the boxers. His eyes twinkle with happiness. “Getting you riled up. God, it made me wonder what it would be like to have you under me or over me.”

Bradley blushes.

It never fails to embarrass him every time Jake says it. Every time Jake leers at him while they bicker. Jake says it’s the passion. The fire underneath the stone exterior. The part of Bradley he only shows to the ones he’s closest with.

“Better ways to flirt,” Bradley says softly. He walks to the bed and collapses onto it. He rolls to his side and looks at Jake under his lashes. “Easier ways to get me in bed.”

Jake smiles before quiet laughter rumbles through his chest. He grunts as he falls into the bed and crawls across the mattress to collapse next to Bradley. Their heads lay on their pillows, mouths barely an inch apart.

Jake looks different this up close. Softer, more human, less the pilot and more the man and Bradley thanks his lucky stars every night he gets to see Jake without his walls.

“Under the blankets?” Jake asks. Bradley silently nods his head. Jake’s breath is warm in his face. Bradley shimmies under the blankets and Jake follows.

It doesn’t take long for Bradley to roll over and lay his head onto Jake’s chest. His arm wraps around Jake’s body, hand and fingers moving slowly remapping out the familiar expanse of Jake’s body. His hand drags up higher until his gently cupping Jake’s pec. Just for a second, just to feel the muscle and skin under his hand. The warmth reminds Bradley that Jake is there and the steady beat of Jake’s heart reminds Bradley that Jake is alive.

“Did you sleep?” Jake asks quietly. Bradley shakes his head.

It’s been worse since the mission. The dreams came every night but when Jake was there, the dreams didn’t come. Something about Jake grounds Bradley and makes all the haziness in his head clear.

“Neither did I,” Jake says quietly. He lets out a short breath. His fingers comb through Bradley’s wet curls gently. His nails scratch at Bradley’s scalp making Bradley shudder. “The dreams kept me awake. I listened to your voicemails just to remind myself that I made it in time.”

Bradley hums. He shifts his head over Jake’s heart and runs his nails through the thick hair that covers Jake’s body. His hand finds its way back up to Jake’s pec and Bradley just holds it. Jake’s heart is even. The low steady beat gently guides Bradley’s breathing and his eyes start to close.

“Sleeping yet?” Jake asks softly and Bradley smiles. He presses a kiss to Jake’s body.

“Not yet,” Bradley says quietly. The itch inside of him, the tightness that he feels and the burning feeling of Jake’s touches lessens. His body getting refamiliarized with being held again after six months of nothing. “Don’t want to miss a moment.”

Jake’s fingers drag through Bradley’s hair, gently scratching at his scalp.

“Sleep, baby. I’ll be here when you wake up.”

Bradley smiles and his eyes flutter close. Bradley lets the soft sound of Jake’s heart ground him and lull him to sleep.

——————————————————————

Bradley shifts. His eyes don’t want to open. It’s been a long six months of no sleeping. The exhaustion and the neediness that claws at him with every passing day that Jake wasn’t there is still there. It lingers in Bradley’s bones and makes Bradley want to let sleep take him again.

The body under him is warm. There’s a hand on his shoulder drawing soft patterns against his skin. There’s an itch that lives inside him. A tight feeling. It’s weird after months of no one touching him to half wake up in someone’s arms. Bradley shifts. To get away or closer he doesn’t know but Jake’s arm tightens on his body pulling him in closer.

It’s a safe feeling. A feeling that chases away all the doubts in and worry in Bradley’s mind.

“You awake?” Jake’s voice is still rough from sleep and Bradley buries his face into Jake’s chest trying to hold onto the last bit of sleep. The hair is rough against his face and Bradley loves it.

“No,” he grunts out, “I’m not.”

Jake laughs. It’s smooth and low and just like Bradley remembers it.

“Can you in your throws of slumber roll over a bit so I can use the restroom?” Jake asks. His thumb is still drawing patterns on Bradley’s skin.

Bradley grunts. He keeps his eyes closed and rolls onto his pillow. It’s cool like he spent the whole night on top of Jake and he’s guessing he did. Jake snorts and the bed shifts. Soft footsteps on carpet lets Bradley know Jake left the room.

He blearily opens his eyes. The room is dark, the sun has set. He blinks his eyes open and the clock on Jake’s table reads 22:30. Bradley grunts. They slept the day away. He shifts up into sitting and drags his hands down his face. A cool piece of metal hooks on his cheek and Bradley freezes.

He opens his eyes and looks down at his left hand and a silver band with diamonds set all the way around the center sits on his ring finger.

Bradley’s heart skips a beat. He reaches out and slides the ring off and there is a small scrawl on the inside. Bradley holds the ring closer and on the inside in Jake’s writing is the words You give ‘em hell.

Bradley covers his mouth. His heart slams in his chest and he slowly turns the ring in his fingers. He slides it back on and it fits perfectly.

Tears prick his eyes and he can’t stop looking at the silver ring on his hand.

“So is that a yes?” Jake asks.

Bradley turns to face him. Jake is leaning against the doorframe. His arms are crossed over his chest. Slight stubble from the day covers his face and Bradley can’t speak.

Jake’s smile widens. His blue green eyes shine and he just stares at Bradley from across the room.

“Of course it’s a yes, you dumb ass,” Bradley gasps out.

Jake throws his head back and laughs. Bradley pushes the blankets back and moves to the edge of the bed kneeling and holds up his hand.

“You give ‘em hell?” Bradley asks in a broken voice. The tears in his eyes slowly roll down his face.

Jake smiles. His eyes are soft and he pushes off the door frame and slowly crosses the room. He reaches out and cups Bradley’s face pulling him and Bradley lets him.

Jake’s lips are a little chapped. Carrier’s are windy and Jake forgets his chapstick. Bradley presses forward and wraps his arms around Jake’s neck reveling in the feeling of Jake’s hands finding his waist and slowly moving over his body.

Bradley tilts his head silently begging to deepen the kiss and Jake moans out. Bradley slides his tongue over Jake’s lip and Jake opens his mouth.

He tastes like mint mouthwash. A fleeting thought that Jake knew that Bradley would find the ring and wanted to spare Bradley the taste of morning breath is gone, getting chased by the heavy feeling of more coursing through Bradley’s veins.

Bradley slides his tongue into Jake’s mouth and swallows the low noises Jake makes. His fingers run through the short strands of blonde hair before tightening and holding Jake still. Bradley kisses like a man possessed. Like a man that hasn’t felt the touch of his lover in six long months. He kisses like a man in love and trying to pour every single ounce of emotion into the gesture.

Bradley’s lungs burn. His lips are slick but Bradley doesn’t care. Bradley needs Jake more than he’s ever needed anything in his life.

He pulls back when the burn in his lungs is too much and soft gasp fills the air from them both.

“It’s the moment I knew I loved you,” Jake says softly. His hands are warm on Bradley’s waist and Bradley’s head spins at the thought. “It’s the moment I knew that I couldn’t let you get away from me if we both crawled out of there alive. I was going to do everything in my power to make you stay. Even if I only had you as a friend, I knew I couldn’t let you go.”

Bradley leans forward and presses another kiss to Jake’s lips. His body burns under Jake’s hands. The hard way Jake holds him makes Bradley’s body tingle, getting used to the feeling of being touched, to being loved again.

“Gonna show me?” Bradley asks against Jake’s lips, “gonna show how much you love me? How much you missed me?”

Jake’s smile feels like heaven. It’s a feeling that Bradley will never grow tired of. Jake pecks him one more time on his lips and pulls back.

“Baby, I never thought you’d ask.”

Jake’s hand falls off Bradley’s body only to come to rest on his chest. Jake’s eyes burn with something dark and dangerous. Half challenge, half something else that Bradley only sees when Jake flies. His breath hitches as he lets Jake push him onto his back. Jake slides over him. His hands fall to Bradley’s hips and he glances up to meet Bradley’s eyes.

“Would it ruin the moment if I told you how often I came in my fist thinking about this moment?” Jake asks in a rough voice.

Bradley flushes and shakes his head. “No.”

Jake smiles. He leans down and presses a kiss to Bradley's hip through the cotton of his waistband. Jake slowly presses a kiss an inch higher and Bradley shudders at the intense feeling of Jake’s lips on his skin. Bradley moans out and arches up. Jake glances up to Bradley’s face and a slow smile spreads over his lips.

“Feels good?”

It’s probably a rhetorical question but Bradley nods anyway. Jake sends him a wink and his hands grasp Bradley’s hips and push him into the mattress. Bradley grunts. He tries to move but Jake presses down harder.

Jake’s lips are back. They brush through the small patch of hair that leads down into Bradley’s boxers. They brush up higher over Bradley’s stomach. Bradley moans out softly, his eyelids flutter, too heavy to stay open under the onslaught of Jake’s mouth. Jake’s tongue runs up the groove of Bradley’s abs. Remapping out the familiar parts of Bradley’s body.

Bradley’s hand falls into Jake’s hair and tugs a little trying to get Jake to move. Jake chuckles and presses a kiss to the dip right below Bradley’s sternum.

“You good?” Jake asks. His voice is soft and teasing but there’s a sincerity to his words.

Bradley gasps out as Jake shifts and brushes Bradley’s hard cock with his own. The boxers only add to the sensations moving through Bradley making his need more potent.

“Yeah,” Bradley says breathlessly, “just a lot.”

Jake smiles fondly and leans down to continue his slow exploration of Bradley’s body. His lips drag higher until they run through the sparse hair on Bradley’s chest.

“Always so sensitive after times apart,” Jake murmurs out. His hands still trap Bradley’s body to the bed. His thumb dips under the waistband of Bradley’s boxers. The rough texture of calluses on Jake’s thumb rub against the sensitive skin sending another shiver through Bradley. “Makes me wish they deployed us together more often.”

“Maybe,” Bradley gasps out. Jake's mouth finds one of Bradley’s nipples and sucks on the pebbled flesh. “Maybe after the ceremony, they will.”

Jake pulls off. Bradley whimpers and tilts his head back onto the pillow to look up at Jake. Jake’s eyes are wild, his pupils blown wide and his chest moves with every deep breath.

“When we’re married,” Jake says slowly. Like the thought is new. Bradley nods.

“When we’re married.”

He holds up his hand. The ring sparkles in the soft light of the moon. Jake lets go of Bradley’s hip to thread their fingers together. Jake’s tanner. His body was born and built for Texas sun leaving him a little more tan than Bradley on any given day. Jake twists Bradley’s hand until he can look at the ring. The wrinkles around Jake’s eyes soften and he looks down at Bradley again.

“I wanna see you,” Jake says quietly, “when I move inside you. I want to see your face as I love you. Next round or tomorrow or sometime, I will flip you over and fuck your tight ass like I paid for it but right now,” Jake breaks off. His voice is full of all the emotions Bradley knows are written on his face. “But tonight I want to see you. I want to take you apart slowly and have you put me back together again.”

Bradley nods. He’d say yes to anything Jake wants from him right now. If Jake said to stand up and bend over the couch, Bradley wouldn’t say no.

“I missed you,” Bradley says quietly. Tears are welling up back in his eyes as he stares up into Jake’s face. “Fuck, I missed you so much. I love you so much I can’t breathe sometimes.”

Jake’s eyes glisten. He leans down and presses his lips to Bradley’s and Bradley sighs. He's covered in Jake. The fading smell of deodorant and aftershave leaves only the musky smell of Jake behind.

Bradley moans. He doesn’t let go of Jake’s hand and he reaches up and runs his other hand over Jake’s face and hair as they kiss. His fingers run down the back of Jake’s neck until he drags his nails down Jake’s back.

Jake moans against Bradley’s lips. Jake’s hips thrust down giving them both needed friction and Bradley’s fingers dig into Jake’s back.

“Now,” Bradley murmurs out. His breathless, “please, Jake, now. I don’t want to wait another second.”

Jake nods. He pulls back and reaches over to the night stand. Bradley shifts on the pillows. Jake moves off him enough that Bradley can bend his knees and let them flutter wide. Jake pulls open Bradley’s drawer. Bradley turns his head and looks down at the ring on his finger. His hand is not used to the new weight.

Jake shifts and Bradley glances up and Jake is smiling down at him holding an almost empty bottle.

“Kept yourself busy?” Jake teases and Bradley turns hiding his face into his bicep.

“It’s been six months, Jake,” Bradley says, “it’s not like I went through a whole bottle in a weekend.”

Jake laughs. He moves on the bed and settles between Bradley’s legs. Fingers hook under Bradley’s chin and turns his face. Bradley blinks. Arousal and embarrassment churn in his gut making his head swim with need. Jake’s eyes find his and Bradley is a little more grounded.

“Went through a bottle too,” Jake says softly, “couldn’t have you so that pic you sent me off with had to do.”

Bradley blushes. It was a stupid thirst trap Polaroid of his face and chest. A bit of his abs and his arm flexing behind his head. He tucked it into Jake’s duffle the night before Jake flew out and smiled so wide when he received his first letter from Jake expressing his thanks.

“Little bit better in person?” Bradley asks. Jake smiles.

“A little bit better now that you’re mine,” Jake says as he shifts a little more. He tosses the lube next to Bradley’s hip and reaches down to hook his thumbs under the waistband of the boxers. “Lift up for me, baby.”

Bradley bridges his hips and Jake slides the boxers down finally releasing Bradley’s cock. It curls up, heavy and needy. The head leaking precome that slides a little down his shaft. Jake looks down and slowly drags his eyes up like he’s memorizing every inch of Bradley’s body. He reaches for the lube. The cap pops open and Jake squirts a healthy amount onto his fingers.

He rubs it between his thumb, warming it up as he stares at Bradley.

“I love you,” Jake says in a rough voice, “I haven’t been able to tell you in person how much I fucking love you.”

“I love you too,” Bradley whispers. The tears prick his eyes again and he looks down at the ring on his finger. “When did you know?”

Jake smiles. He stops warming the lube up and slowly reaches down to slide the slick finger between Bradley’s cheeks. His pointer finger circles Bradley’s entrance. Bradley shifts, his lifts his hips trying to get Jake to slide in but Jake just shakes his head.

“Let me,” he says quietly, “let me make love to my fiancé.”

Bradley shudders at the word. His entrance flutters under the soft pressure and when Bradley thinks he’s going to explode, Jake slides his first finger in.

It’s different. The angle is right and Jake’s finger is just wide enough that it dulls the empty feeling in Bradley. Bradley lets out a soft sigh. His legs open wider and Jake leans down to lick a strip from the base of Bradley’s cock to the tip. Bradley lets out a wanton noise. His body squirms on the beds, his hand tying into the blanket as he tries to not thrust up into Jake’s mouth.

Jake looks up. His eyes never leave Bradley’s face as he sinks down over the tip. His lips look sinful. Red and flush as he lowers his mouth, gently sucking on Bradley’s cock as his finger slides in and out of Bradley.

Bradley’s mouth falls open. He can’t stop the desperate pants. The hot feeling surges through him, spreading over his body and sinking into his limbs. His legs tighten around Jake’s shoulders, keeping him in place and not letting him move away.

Jake sinks lower, a second finger joins the first and Bradley’s head throws back against the pillows. His fingers pull helplessly at the blankets as Jake spreads his fingers wide.

“Jesus, Jake,” Bradley moans out, “so good. You feel so good right now.”

Jake hums. The vibrations move up Bradley’s cock making him squirm. His knees press against Jake’s shoulders harder. Bradley feels his cock twitch in Jake’s mouth.

“Fuck, Jake. Your mouth ,” Bradley moans out, “I can’t- I can’t- gonna come if you keep doing that.”

Jake hums again. His mouth moves faster over Bradley’s cock. His cheeks hollow sucking hard as his fingers curl up and brush against Bradley’s prostate. Bradley whines out. His cock is leaking into Jake’s mouth and he can’t help the soft roll of his hips rolling up and chasing the feeling of Jake.

“Fuck, need you in me,” Bradley says breathlessly. Every harsh exhale is laced with a moan. It’s been too long. Too long without Jake that Bradley’s orgasm is rushing towards him quicker then he likes. “Fuck, Jake, please . I need you, baby. I need you in me.”

Jake pulls off his cock with a wet sound. Bradley whines at the loss and forces his eyes open. Jake is breathing deeply. His body flexes with every time he slides his fingers in and hits Bradley’s prostate. Bradley’s mouth falls open in a silent moan.

The muscle of Bradley’s neck tense as his head tips back at the feeling of Jake’s three fingers rubbing that spot deep inside him.

“Come,” Jake says in a low voice, “let me see what I’ve been missing since I left.”

Bradley whines out and arches up. His dick twitches, it twitches again before Bradley arches more and lets out a loud noise. His come is hot against his skin, long ropes make a mess of body. Bradley fucks himself down on Jake’s fingers that are now moving in and out of him rapidly, fucking Bradley through his release.

Bradley collapses onto the bed spent. His body is numb and his mind is hazy. He blinks open at the feeling of Jake’s fingers sliding out of him. Jake is sliding his boxers off. His cheeks are flushed and he reaches for the lube.

He squirts some into his palm and closes it before tossing it somewhere. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that Jake is back and he loves Bradley. Jake makes a low noise as he quickly slicks himself up. His hand moves quickly over his hard cock. Bradley groans as he sinks into the mattress and watches Jake prep himself.

Jake looks down. His eyes are dark but there’s a softness to him. A part of Jake that only Bradley gets to see.

He lets go of his cock and settles himself back between Bradley’s legs. He holds himself steady and slowly slides his cock against Bradley’s entrance. Bradley moans at the initial breach. The full feeling of being filled again. His whole body tingles at the sensation.

Jake wipes his hand on the cover before reaching up and lacing their fingers together. Bradley moans louder. Jake sinks in slowly. Inch by inch, he gives Bradley time to adjust. Time to get used to being full again. Bradley moans out. He tries to keep his eyes locked on Jake but the pleasant feeling weighs on his eyes.

“Keep ‘em open,” Jake whispers. His mouth brushes against Bradley's body as he bottoms out. “Wanna see those pretty brown eyes.”

Bradley moans. He fights the feeling and watches Jake map out his body with his lips. Bradley wraps his thigh around Jake’s waist and moans when Jake shifts a little deeper.

“Fuck, I’m full,” Bradley gasps out, “feels so good.”

“Yeah?” Jake asks. He pulls his mouth from the underside of Bradley’s pec to look Bradley in the eye. “Feels good?”

Bradley bites his lip and nods. “Too good to be true.”

Jake smiles. He keeps Bradley’s eyes as he licks a strip up to Bradley’s chest and latches onto his nipple. Bradley shudders. His fingers tighten on Jake’s, the ring rubbing against Jake’s skin.

“When?” Bradley asks again in a breathless voice, “when did you plan it?”

Jake smiles and scrapes his teeth over Bradley's abused pebbles flesh. “The second I got my orders I went out and bought the ring. The engraving took a day and I had it with the whole time I was gone.”

Jake slowly pulls out and Bradley moans as he rocks back in nice and slow. Bradley’s eyes flutter as Jake’s cock brushes his prostate. His body is still buzzing from his last orgasm but fizzles of arousal makes Bradley think that he could get a second one tonight.

“I’ve loved you for so long,” Jake murmurs. His mouth pressing kisses up Bradley’s body until his mouth latches onto Bradley’s neck to suck a bruise. Bradley squirms. He moves his hips to match Jake’s rhythm pulling a groan from Jake. Jake presses a kiss to the scars on Bradley's neck. “Now the world will know that you’re mine.”

Bradley moans out. His other hand grasps desperately at the back of Jake’s head. His fingers drag through the soft short strands as Jake presses more kisses to his neck.

Bradley can feel his cock hardening again. The dull ache of overstimulation from where their bodies rub against it makes the need inside of him burn hotter. Bradley digs his other heel into the mattress to give himself more leverage. He moves his body with more force against Jake, his inner walls squeezing Jake’s cock with every thrust.

“Fuck, you’re going to kill me,” Jake groans out against Bradley’s neck. He presses a kiss to the new bruise he left under Bradley’s jaw. “Feels like heaven, fiancé.”

Bradley moans out loudly. His body shudders and his cock leaves a sticky trail of precome between them. Jake’s chest scratches against Bradley’s nipples. The hair dragging against Bradley’s body making Bradley’s eyes flutter shut.

“Hey,” Jake whispers, “keep ‘em open. A little while longer, yeah? Want to see them roll back when I make you come again.”

“Jesus, Jake,” Bradley gasps out. His hand tightens in Jake’s hair and pulls him up. Jake is smiling. Jake’s breathing is in pants as he slides into Bradley’s pliant body. “You kiss your fiancé with that mouth?”

Jake smiles and drags their interlocked fingers higher. Bradley’s ring still sits heavy on his finger. Jake leans down and presses a wet open mouth kiss to Bradley’s lips and Bradley lets out a low noise. Jake kisses him deeply. His tongue sliding against Bradley’s tongue before sliding out. His other hand cups Bradley’s jaw to tilt him up a little to give Jake a better angle.

Bradley squeezes Jake with his leg, trying to drag him deeper. The need burns inside of him and his skin feels too tight all of sudden. Jake goes to pull away but Bradley leans forward and chases his mouth for another kiss.

Jake obliges. He slowly lowers them back to the pillow and kisses Bradley as his cock moves into Bradley at a slow pace. It’s just enough to bring Bradley to full hardness again but not enough to tip him over.

Jake breaks the kiss and Bradley looks up at him. Jake’s face is red, sweat drips down his temple as he drives into Bradley’s body.

“I do now,” Jake says in a rough voice, “I do kiss my fiancé with this mouth.”

Bradley moans. His head tilts back. His hand loosens the grip on Jake’s hair until he’s just cupping the back of his head. He stares up into Jake’s wild eyes and lets out a small pathetic noise.

“Faster,” Bradley moans out, “come on Jake, faster.”

Jake shakes his head. Their interlocked fingers move higher until their hands are next to Bradley’s head. Jake’s hand maps out Bradley’s face, tracing over every inch and sliding over his lips.

“A little longer?” Jake asks in a desperate voice, “you feel too good.”

Bradley gasps. He nods frantically and lets his hand move down Jake’s neck to his back so he can feel the powerful muscle flexing with every stroke.

“Yeah,” Bradley says quietly, “a little longer.”

Jake leans down and presses their lips together. Bradley loses himself in the feeling. Loses himself to the touches. He lets Jake’s cock pull him apart and he moans softly when Jake breaks the kiss. Bradley’s lungs burn, his body wound tight again but it’s alright.

Jake is back. Jake is here.

Bradley tilts his head back in an invitation. Jake leans down and presses a kiss to Bradley’s pulse that is raging under his skin. Bradley’s whole body is a tight wire ready to snap. His fingers dig into the thick muscle of Jake’s back and he digs his nails in, scratching at the smooth skin.

“Jake,” Bradley moans out. His body too wound up and spent to keep rhythm, “please, baby, faster.”

Jake grunts. His teeth are working another mark on Bradley’s neck. Bradley moans when Jake’s hips snap into his body hard and sure. The head of Jake’s cock hits Bradley's prostate before he pulls out to repeat. Jake moves faster, his rhythm steady but increasing and Bradley loses himself all over again.

His body tightens on all points of contact he has with Jake. His body pressing against Jake’s solid form. Bradley doesn’t know what he’s saying. The pleas and moans mixing together until Bradley is a mess of need.

I love yous and more blend together until it sounds like Jake’s name whispered as a prayer. Bradley fights to keep his eyes open. He fights to look into the blue green gaze that’s locked with his as Jake moves impossibly faster into Bradley’s body.

“Touch me,” Bradley gasps out, “please Jake, I need it. I need you to touch me.”

Jake nods. He lifts his hand off the pillow next to Bradley’s head. His hips falter. The leverage Jake used to move inside of Bradley is gone but Jake presses their hands deeper into the bed. It’s grounding him. He moves his hand between their bodies until Jake grasps Bradley’s cock in a firm grip.

Bradley moans loudly. He tries to keep rhythm but ends up scratching his nails down Jake’s back as Jake strokes him to the fast and messy rhythm of his hips.

“Come for me,” Jake grits out. His voice is rough with need. His body is tight and Bradley knows Jake is trying to hold off his orgasm until Bradley comes. “Come for me, my fiancé.”

Bradley’s body snaps. His second orgasm rips through him and comes into Jake’s fist. His come splashes against Jake’s body as Jake strokes him hard and fast. Bradley squeezes Jake’s cock tightly. His body shakes as he lets the bliss wash through him. His cock hurts from the overstimulation but that makes everything more intense.

Bradley squeezes his leg tighter around Jake and he looks up at him with a blissed look on his face.

“In me,” Bradley breathes out softly, “please Jake, come in me.”

Jake lets out a quiet curse and slams his cock into Bradley’s spent body and comes. His body tightens as he fills Bradley up. The hot wet feeling of Jake’s release fills Bradley and he moans loudly.

It’s been too long.

Bradley sinks back into the bed. He moves his hand over Jake’s back. He gently tugs Jake down until Jake collapses onto Bradley’s body. Jake presses soft kisses against Bradley’s sweaty neck and face. Bradley makes a soft noise and gently strokes over Jake’s back. His heart slams in his chest and Bradley lets his eyes close and he basks in the feeling of Jake on him again.

“I love you,” Bradley says softly. He lifts their hands that are still interlocked and turns to head to look at his ring. He’ll never get used to seeing it on his finger. The diamonds sparkle in the low light as Bradley twists them to see it from a different angle.

“I take it you like the ring?” Jake asks in a gruff voice. He shifts his weight so he arm rests across Bradley’s chest and he sits up a little.

Bradley turns to look at him. Jake is smiling. His post orgasm flush is still on his face and Bradley doesn’t think Jake can look more perfect then when he’s covered in sweat and looking well loved.

Bradley smiles. “I love it.”

Jake ducks his head and presses a kiss to Bradley’s heart before meeting his eyes again.

“I was nervous,” Jake says softly.

Bradley leans forward. His hand finds its way back into Jake’s hair and he pulls him down. Their lips touch and Bradley immediately deepens the kiss as he lowers them back down. They kiss softly. Jake’s hand cups Bradley’s jaw, the come is wiped somewhere, a future them problem. Bradley lets Jake tilt his face and take over the kiss.

They gently part. Bradley looks up at Jake and smiles.

“That I would say no or hate the ring?” Bradley asks and Jake blushes.

“Both honestly,” Jake says. He looks over at where their hands rest on the bed. “We don’t really talk about marriage or anything like that so I just hoped that you wanted me as much as I wanted you.”

Bradley shakes his head. He lets his hand run down Jake’s face and turns his head forcing Jake to look at him.

“Never doubt my love for you,” Bradley says quietly. Jake's eyes widen and it hurts a little seeing the mild surprise. “I would marry you with a paper ring if that’s what you gave me.”

Jake nods. Bradley lifts their hand and brings it between them and looks down at the glowing silver.

“I fell in love with you when I saw you coming through that smoke,” Bradley says quietly. He doesn’t look at Jake. The words get caught in his throat. They don’t talk about it often. The when and how that they ended together. Rivals to friends to now engaged, blending together between them that Bradley doesn’t remember a time without Jake in his life. “I remember seeing you in that smoke and thinking ‘damn, if only he would look at me’.”

Jake snorts softly. He unlinks their fingers and lifts Bradley’s hand to press a kiss to the ring. “Oh I was looking,” Jake says with a smile, “could never keep my eyes off you.”

Bradley smiles. The bliss is fading and he’s sticky and gross. The sweat and come drying and Bradley leans back in the pillows.

“Shower and then take out?” He asks and Jake smiles.

“Shower then take out and then round two?” Jake counters and Bradley smiles.

“I’m sold, fly boy,” Bradley says and he leans up to steal another kiss.

Jake’s hand tightens on Bradley’s hand. Bradley cups Jake’s face and brushes through the stubble before pulling away.

“We need to strip the blankets,” Bradley says softly.

Jake grunts and slowly slides from Bradley’s body. It feels weird being empty after being so full. Come slides from Bradley’s body and he makes a face.

“After shower and round two,” Bradley says as he rolls to the edge of the bed, “no sense in making a mess of two blankets when we have already ruined one.”

Jake laughs. Bradley stands up and Jake playfully slaps Bradley’s ass. Bradley yelps and looks over scandalized as Jake slides around him heading for the door.

“Jacob Seresin,” Bradley gasps, “is that a way to treat your fiancé?”

Jake turns and smiles wide. The wrinkles around his eyes dig in deep and Bradley knows he’s a filthy liar. This is when Jake looks his best. Smiling and loose and happy and full of love.

“I’m sorry,” Jake doesn’t sound sorry, “I’ll make it up to you in the shower.”

“Yeah?” Bradley asks in a low voice. Jake reaches out his hand and Bradley laces their fingers together. “Hand or mouth?”

Jake smiles. “How about tongue, worshiping my fiancé?”

Bradley’s breath catches at Jake’s words and he lets Jake pull him towards the shower.
