Work Text:
Motherhood is the greatest thing ever, George is certain of that much.
Milo's been alive for nearly five months now, and he is the most adorable little person in the whole world, George would burn down every single building just to see a smile cross his chubby cheeks. He'd commit an insane amount of murder for his baby boy, or blow up the moon.
Anything for his little baby.
But the crying at 3 A.M. is something he could do without. He's always been a heavy sleeper, but since giving birth, the slightest whimper from Milo has been enough to wake George up, let alone the screaming.
George elbows Dream in the side, his husband grunting in response before getting up to tend to their son. They've had a few growing pains adjusting to life as parents, but one thing George can't fault Dream for is that he never complains about the late night or early morning wake-ups. If he's especially tired, he won't even bother to grumble, but he always gets up and crosses the room to lift their baby from his crib.
Is it time to move the crib to the nursery yet? Is Milo old enough for that?
Who fucking knows, George can google it in the morning.
With a yawn, he yanks off his pajama top, tossing it aside so he doesn't have to fuss about with bunching up the fabric to give Milo access to the treasure that is apparently George's breastmilk.
"'S alright bubba."
Dream's voice is low and gravelly as he whispers to their son, bringing him over to the bed. George rubs at his eyes sleepily, reaching out once Dream is within Baby Transfer distance.
"There we go. Here's mommy." Dream rests Milo in George's arms, before flopping back on the bed, a hand resting on George's thigh.
"Hey sweetheart." George coos, brushing his finger to his son's cheek, his cries dwindling. "It's okay. Milo, it's okay. Look, what's this? What's this Milo? You want some food?"
He feels Milo latch on, and the familiar suckling at his nipple. Keeping Milo steady, George shifts back to laying down.
Faintly, he can see Dream's hand move in the dark, gently holding Milo's socked foot. If George knows his husband, which he does, he's probably wiggling their son's toes.
"He latched?"
"Yeah." George suppresses a yawn, continuing to caress his son's face as he drinks. "That's what... Four hours?"
"Man, he's getting good." Dream's lips press to George's shoulder. "That's a new record."
"Untrue, he slept for like.... 12 after he was born."
"That doesn't count, that was before he could even open his hands properly."
"Mm." George shuts his eyes for a few seconds, the rhythmic sucks at his chest keeping him aware of how Milo's doing.
"I miss proper sleep." Dream mumbles. "Remember when you were pregnant and we said that the first non-parenting break we get, we'll just spend the whole time making more babies?"
"I do remember that." George moves one of his hands to his stomach, the other staying as firm support for his son. It's still a bit weird, the quiet emptiness in his belly. He hasn't felt a wriggle or a kick or even a flutter for five months, uterus sitting unused.
"I think we might just spend the whole time sleeping instead."
George snorts, ignoring the pang in his heart. Is it crazy that he already wants another baby? He already misses the feeling of being pregnant, both the sexy and not-so-sexy parts, it was just nice to have another little someone with him all the time.
Obviously, Milo is his priority right now. And all the time, forever. But maybe in a few more months, he could broach the subject? Sit Dream down and demand another baby, as soon as possible.
Milo pulls away from George, leaving a trail of milk, and a bit still flowing from his nipple. Wow, the joys of breastfeeding, body fluids all over his chest.
He lets out another little cry.
"Hey Milo." George whispers. "Don't cry. Mummy and daddy are here."
"C'mere." Dream gently lifts Milo into his arms, allowing George to clean himself with a wipe. "My boy."
Aside from Milo's quiet burbling and Dream's soft coos in response, the room is quiet. George keeps his top off, just in case, but he wraps himself back up under the covers, nuzzling closer to his husband.
"It's still sleepy time Milo." Dream murmurs. "Mommy and daddy are going to sleep. You gonna sleep too? You can stay in my arms for a little bit longer though. Don't tell mommy, but you're the best little cuddler in the world."
George smiles to himself, straining his eyes to get a better view in the dark.
It's his favourite thing, without question. Watching his husband talk to their baby, cooing over every little noise, and getting to see Milo's wide eyes stare back, attuned to everything his father says.
Even here, with the image almost completely obscured by the lack of light, it's perfect. Dream's gentle words, just knowing that their baby is safe in his arms, George getting to reach and touch the two best people in his life... It's insane.
George falls back asleep as Dream begins to quietly sing Milo a lullaby.
"Did your boobs get bigger?"
"Nick, what the hell is wrong with you?" Dream slaps their best friend on the back of the head, and George rolls his eyes.
"It's a genuine question." Sapnap slouches over the arm chair, sipping a cup of coffee as Dream takes a seat beside George on the floor, where Milo is wriggling around.
George looks down at his chest, then lazily offers Sapnap the middle finger.
"I just need to pump." George's gaze softens as he looks at his son. "Or you need to feed. Why aren't you hungry?"
Dream leans forward and tickles Milo's belly. "Is this true, mister?"
Milo squeals in response, reaching a chubby little hand out to grab onto Dream's finger.
"Ah, dude, you totally got me!" Dream lets him take it, and Milo's cherubic face splits into the most gorgeous beam George has ever seen. God, he's beautiful. Just the most beautiful, adorable little baby in the world. A smile or just a bat of curious brown eyes, and George is absolutely putty.
He scoops Milo into his arms, pressing his lips to his baby's forehead. "And now, mummy's got you. Yes! Mummy and Milo time."
Dream pouts. "I was playing with him."
George huffs and bounces Milo lightly, their son's tiny fingers gripping on to a lock of George's hair. "Well, now I'm playing with him."
"That's not fair." Dream sighs dramatically, kisses George's head, and caresses Milo's cheek. He looks to Sapnap. "Can you believe this man?"
"You're the one that married him." Sapnap snorts. "Also, you never let me complain when you steal Milo from me."
"Well that's because he's my baby." George glances at Sapnap, then brushes his nose against Milo's. "That's right! You're my baby. Mummy loves you so much. Way more than your stinky, stinky uncle."
"When's he gonna start talking? Maybe then he'll finally say 'George, let me chill out with my bro Nick.'"
"You're so stupid." Dream starts fiddling with one of Milo's toys. "He's not gonna be able to say that until he's like, 2."
"Also, why would he call me George? That's so dumb." George scoffs, turning his face so that Sapnap can see his eyeroll.
Milo whines immediately, fingers grabbing at George's cheeks and refocusing his attention.
"Woah buddy." George looks back to him. "I'm here, I'm here."
"So messed up that you prioritise looking at your son instead of me." Sapnap laments. "Milo. Psst. Milo. Dude, come on, I'm talking to you."
"He's a baby." Dream scoffs. "You have to ask him nicely. Look, if you say please, it totally works. Milo. Hey you! Please look at me, yeah, look at daddy."
Milo does indeed turn his head, although George has the slightest suspicion it may be because Dream had used a baby voice rather than his manners.
George pretends to gasp, for Milo's benefit. "Is that daddy? It is! Wow, do you wanna say hi? Hi daddy!"
If there's one thing being a parent has taught him so far, it's that apparently babies fucking love it when you act surprised. Milo makes a short burst of noises, George nodding along with him and Dream hums as if deeply invested in what Milo is saying.
"That was very thought-provoking." Sapnap pretends to scratch an imaginary beard. "Which philosophy school did you go to again?"
George smiles and kisses the top of Milo's head. "He didn't go to any schools. He's too cool and smart. They said 'it would be unfair to the other children if we let him in.' Didn't they sweetheart?"
A quiet burble in response. And then Milo starts pawing at George's chest, pressing his face against his t-shirt.
"Wow, what a wild party baby you have." Sapnap gasps. "Milo, silly, you can't motorboat people until you are at least 16."
"18." Dream corrects. "My baby will not be doing anything like that until he is an adult."
"Also, you're so stupid." George snorts. "Milo needing food is not motorboating, don't make it weird. You hungry sweetheart? 'S okay, just let mummy-"
George attempts to transfer Milo to Dream so he can take his t-shirt off without issue, but this is apparently the very worst thing his baby can imagine. Milo screeches, and clings tighter.
"No, Milo, give mommy a second." Dream shakes his head and gently pries their son away, making Milo cry more.
George moves faster, and Sapnap makes a stupid wolf whistle as his chest goes on show.
"Look, honey, here we go." George scoops him back. "Daddy's cuddles aren't that bad, you're being dramatic. Also, Clay, tell Sapnap he's stupid."
"You're stupid Sapnap. Don't whistle at my husband."
"Man's got them titties."
"You're so dumb." George rolls his eyes, and watches Milo drink. Dream rests his chin on George's shoulder.
"I can't believe my son hates me." Dream says sadly. George scoffs.
"He doesn't hate you, you just don't make food."
"Can Milo eat properly yet? I wanna see if he likes my cooking."
"No one likes your cooking Sapnap. You don't even like your cooking."
"But Dream, maybe it's because I can only cook for babies. Oh my god, can I feed him a lemon?"
"I mean, if he wants to try a lemon, sure, but don't force it."
"Clay." George tuts. "No."
"He might like it!" Dream rests a hand on George's back. "I like lemons."
"Yeah, but you're a grown man, and Milo is a baby."
"I think Milo is very mature actually." Sapnap rolls off the armchair and onto the floor. "He's gonna get a mustache soon."
"A baby with a mustache would be funny." Dream snorts, and George silently agrees.
Milo pulls off him, and makes grabby hands at Dream, who is happy to take him, gently resting him on his shoulder and rubbing his back.
"Hey Sap." George says as he watches Dream coax a burp out of Milo. "Do you think that maybe you'd be down to babysit soon?"
Dream raises a brow, which is fair. George hasn't overtly asked for a weekend getaway yet, but he's been hinting towards it. Making sure Milo will have a good babysitter is the obvious next step before he gets carried away with planning things.
"Yeah dude, totally." Sapnap shuffles forward and gently pokes Milo's nose. "Uncle Nick and Milo time! We'll chill so hard that he won't ever want to cuddle you again."
"Maybe going away is a bad idea." Dream frowns at that, pressing a kiss to Milo's cheek. "What if he starts thinking Sap's his dad?"
George shakes his head. "I'm not saying we'll go now. Maybe next month. Milo won't ever get confused, he knows who daddy is. Isn't that right sweetheart? Who's daddy?"
Milo responds with a tiny burp, and pukes over Dream's shoulder.
Sapnap howls with laughter.

Because of who Dream is as a person, he'd of course changed the booking details without George knowing.
Maybe George should have expected it, he has been a willing victim to Dream's romantic gestures before, yet he is still surprised when they check in and the receptionist tells them that their honeymoon suite is ready, with everything 'as requested'.
The beam on Dream's face is enough to make George feel weak in the knees, his silly husband bouncing on his heels as they make their way to a room that's far fancier than George could have imagined.
When he sees the blue-and-green dyed flower petals on the bed, and the bowl of chocolate raisins on a table, George completely melts.
"You're such an idiot." George flops onto the mattress, and Dream falls next to him. "I love you."
"I love you more." Dream props himself up on his elbow, and the movement makes his sleeves tighten, George eyeing his muscles. Fuck, he's so handsome.
When Milo starts going to playgroups or school, George is going to have to fend off the other mothers who will surely want to leave their partners the moment they look at Dream.
Maybe George should force him to stop working out. Make him get a traditional dad bod, so he doesn't have to fight random people who try to steal his husband.
That would probably be a bit extreme. Dream does what he wants, George isn't going to stop that.
"No, I love you more." George mumbles, tugging Dream's collar to pull him closer. "Come here."
Dream meets his lips, and George tiptoes his fingers along his back, before settling his hand in Dream's hair.
"Kiss."
"I am kissing you!" Dream laughs against George's mouth, pecking him a few more times. It does not feel like enough. "You're so needy."
"No." George shakes his head, and puckers up some more, exchanging quiet jokes and giggles as they roll around the bed.
The playwrestling continues, until George sits victoriously on Dream's waist, straddled.
"Oh man, my sexy husband's pinned me down, whatever will I do?"
"I know what I want to do."
"Yeah?" Dream smirks, hands on George's hips. "Tell me."
George plants a quick kiss to his lips, then takes a deep breath. "I wanna make another baby."
Dream blinks up at him, then grins.
"Yeah, I bet you do. My horny slut." Dream's hands slide to George's ass. "One baby not enough, hm? You need more of me? Need more babies, need me to use you as my personal cum sponge."
George feels heat pool near his dick. Shit, they haven't done this in so long.
"Please Clay." George makes his voice lower, bats his eyes a few times. "I want to be big and round and pregnant again. It was just so good growing your baby, I want to do it again, and again, and again."
"I know you do." In a swift movement, Dream flips them round, so George's back is now pressed to the mattress. "I miss seeing you pumped full. God Georgie, I should just have just put another one in you the second your womb was empty again."
"I should never ever be empty." George feels himself keen. "I'm your babymaker, I was made to just have all of your babies, I should be pregnant all the time."
"You should." Dream nods.
Their lips meet, before Dream shifts to mark up George's neck, biting and sucking and kissing any inch of skin George has on show.
"Take your shirt off." George grunts. A few seconds, and it's tossed aside, Dream's upper body bare and looking just as delectable as ever.
George leans forward to start leaving his own marks on Dream, but his husband stops him with a hand to his chest.
"No." Dream's palm sits neatly between George's two plush pecs, and the feeling makes George's body quiver. "You take yours off too."
And that has George's insides turning cold.
"What?"
Dream raises a brow. "I took mine off."
"Yeah." George bites his lip, and shrugs. "But, yknow, it's different."
"How is it different?" Dream sits back, head tilted.
The growing sexual energy dissipates, and George's face heats. God, he's so stupid, he should've just... kissed Dream quiet or something.
Instead, here they are, just staring at each other, concern growing on Dream's face and George burning in embarrassment.
"It's just... Not the same." George clears his throat, muscles unresponsive when he thinks about trying to get things back to the right mood.
"That doesn't make any sense."
George shrugs again, brain flailing for a good excuse.
"Babe?" Dream's voice is soft, and George hates it because he knows that that tone could get him to do anything.
"It's nothing." George fiddles with his husband's hand. And he elaborates, because he's stupid and in love. "It's just dumb."
Because it is dumb. George knows Dream has seen his body post-pregnancy. He knows that Dream has seen him shirtless, seen the pudge of his stomach and hasn't complained, knows that Dream would never say or do anything to make George feel unattractive.
They have had sex since Milo was born, though it's just been quick and lazy, clothes barely coming off, and Dream hadn't said a word about the leftover baby weight.
But it still sucks. George still feels lesser.
It's been six months, and he hasn't shifted his pregnancy pounds. Honestly, he's probably a bit heavier than he was after birth, and that's humiliating. Dream has stayed in his perfect shape, and George has just gotten chubbier.
"It's clearly something." Dream says softly. "What's up?"
"Nothing's up." George will play this game of denial until Dream drags the answer out of him. "C'mon, babe, I thought we were having sex."
"We were." Dream cups George's chin. "And now I'm a bit more concerned with how my husband is feeling."
George doesn't reply. Dream kisses his cheeks, and George still stays silent.
Maybe he can morph this back into what they're supposed to be doing.
Getting pregnant again. Or pretending? George should probably clarify.
He deepens the kiss, hand travelling Dream's torso, and for a few seconds, it seems to work.
"Georgie." Dream says quietly. "Tell me what's wrong."
A gentle kiss to his temple.
There's only so much George can take.
"I'm still, um, bigger. Than I was. Yknow, before. Before we had Milo, I mean." He stumbles over the phrasing, and Dream blinks at him.
"Right?"
That's not exactly what George had expected. "Um. Right."
Dream's brow creases. "Is that it?"
George squirms. "Well, I don't... I don't know."
"Georgie." Dream brushes their noses together. "I love you. I don't care if you're a bit heavier than you were before you literally carried a person inside of you. You're the prettiest, hottest, most gorgeous man ever, and I'll always think you're hot. You made us a baby. You're the mother of my son, I can't think of anything more beautiful."
George swallows a lump in his throat. "What if we had another baby?"
"Then you'd be the mother of my children, that's amazing. Your body is-"
"No. Clay." George places a hand on Dream's arm. "I meant... We should have another baby."
Dream shakes his head. "Georgie, c'mon, sex can wait, I need to tell you how-"
"Clay. I want you to get me pregnant again." George clutches him. "I hate looking at my body and remembering that I'm empty now. I'm not ready for that yet. I want another baby, I want to be pregnant again. For real."
"Are you serious?" Dream frowns. "Milo's still so small, I thought you wanted to wait until he was at least a year old."
"If we start trying now, it means that the age gap between them will be small. And, yknow, having a sibling can really help a baby's development, they learn socialisation and -"
"George." Dream strokes his cheek.
George feels surprisingly desperate. He needs another baby.
"Not yet, okay? We've only just properly settled with Milo, I'm supposed to be doing a comeback stream soon, another baby doesn't make sense right now."
Stupidly, George feels tears prick at the back of his eyes. "Oh. Okay. Yeah, right. You're right."
"Honey." Dream holds him close. "We will have another baby, I promise. Just give it a few more months."
"How many?" George's heartstrings tug at nothing. "Two? Three?"
Dream doesn't reply for a second, and George's insides twist further.
"How about we start talking about a timeline in two months, and we'll see where that takes us?"
"Clay." George shuts his eyes and bites back the urge to argue. "... Okay. Fine. Just- Alright."
"You sure?" Dream's fingers touch George's hips. "I love you. I don't want you to be mad."
"I'm not mad." George winds his arms around Dream's neck. It's fine. They'll have another baby soon, it will happen, Dream's not saying no. He can live with that. "Cuddle me."
He doesn't have to ask twice.
George would find Dream's reluctance to stream funny if he too wasn't also filled with dread at the idea of returning to the internet.
He's pulled the 'I gave birth' card to wrangle a few extra weeks off, grabbing the phrase out of his pocket whenever Quackity or Karl or Bad ask when he's also making a comeback to the world of online celebrity.
Dream's honestly taking a big hit for George, he's going to get the majority of the questions, so George won't have to deal with as many. He'd guess that there will be people who ask to see the baby, people who want to know about birth, people who want to hear every single aspect of their son's life.
So he and Dream write up a list of what they're willing to tell people and what they're not, Milo's name, appearance, exact age and all details of the birth under the 'Absolutely Not' category.
George, of course, will be watching his husband's stream, having it up on his phone in the background while he does the chores. It's a show of support, maybe he'll even add a few encouraging words in the chat.
"I don't want to do it."
"Babe." George bumps their heads together. "I know. It'll be fine. Milo's asleep, you're not gonna miss anything."
"But what if he wakes up?"
"Then I will be there. Maybe I will even show him your stream." George smooths some of Dream's hair behind his ear. "And Nick said he's ready to join in VC if you need him, and I'll linger in chat. It's all gonna be okay. Your fans miss you."
"They miss you too." Dream huffs and entwines their fingers. "What if Milo needs me?"
"On the offchance that he won't settle for me, I will interrupt you. But that won't happen, because we will be having fun mummy-son time."
"Wh- Are you gonna wake him up to hang out with him without me? That's not cool, I wanna have family time."
"Idiot, it's night, he needs to sleep, I'm obviously not going to wake him up."
Dream makes a noise, then sighs.
"Okay."
"Okay!" George kisses him lightly. "You'll be great. Best stream ever, I bet."
Dream scoffs, and squeezes George's hand.
George has the baby monitor on the table and his phone beside it, volume up as he performs the usual chores. Loads up the dishwasher, takes out the trash, scrubs at the recent sick stain on his sweater from when Milo overindulged on milk...
Dream's voice follows him.
"It's so weird doing this again, I haven't played Minecraft in forever. If I'm bad now, it's literally just because I'm out of practice. Like, I just need to warm up."
George smiles at his the lilt of his husband's tone, so familiar and warm. It's almost like how it was a few years ago, when they had an ocean between them and Dream's words were the only comfort George could get.
"Okay, okay. We'll do a mini Q&A, only because I know you guys are desperate for it. I'll set up the text-to-speech, hold on. Wait, holy shit, I haven't played this update, is that a camel? Nice."
George refills Patches' food bowl as the text-to-speech voice starts talking.
'WHATS HAVING A BABY LIKE??? ILYSM DREAM'
"I love you too! Thank you. My baby is... God, I don't know how to describe him. He's the most perfect person I have ever met in my life. I'd do so, so much for him, he's just incredible. Being a dad is just the best thing to ever happen to me, I literally don't think I have enough words to tell you guys how much I love him."
'How is George :O?' The TTS voice says next, George almost wincing at how quickly he's been brought up.
"George is good. Might still be a few weeks before he streams or anything, but he's good! I love him so much, I'm so proud of him. Very lucky to have him as my husband, let alone the mother of our child."
'whose the better parent ? also i have missed u so so much dream !!'
"I'd like to think we're both good at parenting. Yknow, I do my best, and George does too, I don't think either of us are necessarily 'better'. But I think our baby probably prefers George. Which is probably the same thing with most parents, yknow? When one of you is the one that literally gave birth and like... I don't know, I just feel like when you're a baby, you're always gonna prefer your mom. It's okay though, because when the baby's older, it's gonna be Dad Central."
George rolls his eyes. A few more questions come and go, Dream seeming more and more laidback as the stream continues. Good.
'Why do u keep calling George a mom lol? Why are you trying to force gender roles on him?'
Dream huffs a bit.
"Uh, no. Our 'parent names' or whatever were something me and George discussed quite a bit before and during his pregnancy. I think a lot of male carriers prefer being 'mom' to 'dad', I don't really know why, it's obviously an individual choice, and that's what George wanted. So that's what's happening."
George decides to put in a bit of his own input in the chat.
GeorgeNotFound: also mama is easier to say than dada and i want dibs on first word
Dream snorts as he sees it.
"Hi Georgie. That's not true. There's no way that's true, right? Because he can barely make 'mm' sounds right now, no way."
GeorgeNotFound: mama will b his first word and i will do everything in my power to make that happen
"I will do my best to help with that."
GeorgeNotFound: good stream btw 10/10 ily and stuff :]
"I love you too." Dream's smile is audible. "No, c'mon, chat stop asking for George to join, he's resting. And he's gotta be alert in case our kid wakes up. I know, I know, I miss him too and it's only been like, 20 minutes since I saw him. You guys must be in hell. No GeorgeNotFound content? I'd die."
George snorts to himself.
GeorgeNotFound: idiot
"No you." Dream does a trademark wheeze. "Didn't you tell me you'd be too busy to hang out in my chat? You're such a liar."
GeorgeNotFound: baby is sleeping + didnt want to do all the chores
"Right, right. You're so - God, you're distracting me from my stream. I'm trying to give the people content, I've missed like, 10 donations."
GeorgeNotFound: lol
A whimper crackles through the baby monitor, so George moves fast, hurrying to the nursery where Milo lays, crying.
"Oh sweetie." George coos and lifts him into his arms immediately. "My baby. It's okay, mummy's here. Shh."
He rocks Milo in his arms, his son not interested in anything but cuddles.
"My little Milo." George says softly, kissing his forehead. Wide brown eyes look at him, sobs quieting into burbles, and chubby, tiny, hands tangle into George's hair. "That's it sweetheart. Mummy's got you. It's alright."
Dream's voice continues through George's phone speakers, and it draws Milo's attention.
He makes grabby hands for it. George hesitates.
It cannot be good for a baby to look at a screen. Although maybe a few minutes wouldn't hurt.
George sits in the rocking chair and holds Milo steady in his lap, showing him the stream of Dream running about on Minecraft and rambling.
"Is that daddy? It is. That's daddy's voice. We can listen for a bit, but then we're putting you back to sleep."
Milo gives a quiet babble in response.
GeorgeNotFound: he woke up. im letting him listen to u for a few mins, no swearing.
"Oh, okay, okay." Dream's tone immediately goes soft. "Hi sweetheart. Chilling with mom? That's cool, I'm just doing my job, everyone has been very curious about you. Uh, chat, what was I saying before George interrupted me?"
George gently rubs circles on Milo's back as they listen to Dream speak. There are a few more whimpers, but George kisses them away.
Milo falls asleep again quickly, and George rests him back in the crib, refocusing on his husband's stream.

Since they have been practically begging for it the minute he was born, Quackity, Karl and Bad fly to Florida to finally meet Milo. He's 7 months now, and he just gets cuter every day.
George is somewhat reluctant to have a meet-up picnic in the park like Sapnap suggested, ever more wary of more intrusive fans taking secret pictures of his son, but Milo seems to love fresh air and greenery, so he agrees. Dream would probably kick anyone's ass if they tried anything.
"Do you really need to take this much stuff?" Sapnap raises a brow as Dream gently puts a spare set of clothes for Milo into their duffel bag. "It's gonna be like, 4 hours at most."
George scoffs. "He could have an accident. Or puke. Or get wet, and we have to change him so he doesn't get hypothermia."
"Hypothermia? My guy, we are in Florida."
"Babies are sensitive, c'mon, you know this by now." Dream packs a few diapers, and George settles Milo into the stroller, his son wriggling around and making it extremely difficult to make sure he's all strapped in properly.
"Milo." George hums. He's getting really good at recognising his name now, going still and blinking up at George. "Let mummy make sure you're safe. Good boy, you're so patient! Mummy's proud."
He's back to wriggling the moment George is done, and Dream is still putting things in the bag. A bottle of Freshly Pumped George Breast Milk (TM), a tiny tub of homemade mango puree (Milo's apparent favourite), a handful of various different toys...
God, who knew that just a simple few hours out could require every 'just in case' item under the sun.
"Dude." Sapnap squats down to look into the stroller. "Your mom and dad are crazy. May as well bring the whole house, jeez. You don't really need that much, do you Milo? They're so protective and overbearing, it's a good thing you have ol' Uncle Nick around to make things more fun."
"You're such an idiot." Dream tuts, and slips the bag on the little shelf beneath the stroller. He too bends to look at Milo, and George loves the way his expression softens, wishes Dream would just stop worrying and let George make him a father over and over again. He's literally the best dad George has ever seen, and he's totally biased, but that's irrelevant.
"Milo. Here you go darling." Dream places one last thing on Milo's lap, the soft plush rabbit that's already worn and matted. It's the plushy that's only a few days younger than Milo is, their baby's been cuddling with it since those early newborn days that feel so long ago. "There. All set."
Milo's fingers wrap around the rabbit's ears, and Dream starts pushing the stroller towards the door. George follows, and they're halfway down the street when Sapnap yelps about forgetting the picnic blanket.
"Woo! Holy shit, Milo time."
"Language." Bad flicks Quackity's arm, and for once George doesn't roll his eyes at the phrase. Karl's crouched on the grass immediately, hands on his knees as he peers into the stroller.
"Don't crowd around." George shoos his friends away. "Just wait a sec, we'll get him out once the blanket's down. Babe, can you unbuckle him?"
Dream doesn't have to be asked twice, and George helps Sapnap lay the blanket on the grass, Quackity placing a very full looking picnic hamper right in the middle. Depending on what's in there, George might ask it's moved far away from where Milo might manage to clamber towards.
"This park's cool." Karl lays down, and Bad takes a seat beside him. "You take the lil man here often?"
"We go for walks around." George watches his husband lift their son from the stroller's seat, and opens his arms for him. "Don't really like sitting and being so out in the open though."
Bad nods in understanding, but Quackity is distracted by the emergence of the baby.
"Woah. He's so chunky."
Dream scoffs and passes Milo to George, and sits down. "He's a baby, that's normal. Healthiest little kid ever though, the other babies all suck, Milo absolutely sweeps the health charts."
George laughs, settling Milo between him and Dream. He's so good at sitting now, so good at holding his head up, he's literally the best.
His son looks at the three new faces, and makes a high-pitched noise, the one which Dream has described as 'Milo's question word'. George leans closer to him, hand on his baby's back.
"I know! New people. Isn't that fun?" George points to them. "You wanna go say hi?"
Milo babbles, and puts three fingers in his mouth, George getting a peek at the new tooth that had appeared last week.
Dream shuffles forward on the blanket, and George gestures to him.
"You wanna wriggle over to daddy? He can introduce you properly. Look, I bet they will all be so impressed when they see how good you're getting at crawling!" George looks at his friends. "Right guys? We'll all clap and say 'well done', and give Milo loads of cuddles when we see him crawl."
As the months have gone on, it's gotten easier to use his 'mama voice' in front of everyone. He used to find it embarrassing, skin crawling at the idea of anyone hearing his tone go sappy. It's almost natural now, almost something he isn't too conscious of.
Bad gets the idea immediately, putting on a cooing voice as well. "Yeah Milo! If you crawl over to your dad, then you can meet us. Sounds good to me."
"Milo, my guy." Sapnap doesn't have a special tone for Milo, but obviously he's used to Sapnap's presence. "You're literally cracked at crawling, show these guys, Alex doesn't believe it."
"Woah." Karl gives his words a slight melody. "You can crawl Milo? That's so cool."
"I bet you could totally skip out your dad and just come straight over here." Quackity says, patting the area of blanket in front of him.
But of course, Milo makes no movement until Dream speaks.
"You've got this sweetheart." Dream spreads his arms. "Come to daddy."
Milo's crawl is still being developed. It's more of a scramble, and a bit wobbly, but it's amazing nonetheless. George's heart bursts with pride as he watches his son move towards Dream.
Dream helps him out a little at the end, holding Milo steady as he veers to the side, and wraps him up in an embrace once their son clambers onto his lap.
George claps, offering a celebratory 'yay!', as recommended by the parenting websites he's been using. Quackity, Bad, Sapnap and Karl offer soft whoops and claps of their own, and Dream lifts Milo to eye level, beaming at him.
"You did it! Wow, amazing. Amazing! You're so talented Milo." He pulls a few funny faces at him, and Milo giggles in response.
The sound of his baby laughing is surely enough to melt the steeliest of hearts, George is pretty sure. He wishes he could take a mental photo, the image of Dream beaming at their son, Milo mid-laugh and hands grabbing at Dream's hair.
The moment is over too quickly, replaced by Dream turning and talking Milo through each of the new faces. Milo pays little attention to Bad, gives Karl only a small babble, and then fawns over Quackity, reaching for him and demonstrating his motor skills by clambering all over his torso.
Sapnap gets jealous, to George's amusement, trying to tempt Milo into a cuddle, but he gets nothing in response.
"Oh my god, you literally love me." Quackity grins. "I'm your favourite ever. Better than your mom and dad."
"I doubt it." George tuts, and makes the move to establish dominance. Milo is his baby, not Quackity's. "Milo!"
He opens his arms, and it doesn't even take a second for his son to wriggle away from Quackity and shakily start crawling towards George. He makes it about halfway before he starts to really wobble, and Dream is there to save him, scooping him up and making airplane noises as he 'flies' Milo into George's arms.
It earns another laugh, and George's heart aches with how much he loves his baby. He brushes his nose against Milo's, a mother-son ritual that he has asked Dream not to co-opt, and Milo responds to George's cooing with some of his own.
"My boy." George kisses the tip of his nose, delighting in the way it scrunches in response. "Mummy loves you, Milo."
Milo squeaks in response, and George makes eye contact with Dream, sharing a smile with him.
The fanfare over Milo dies down a little, their group lapsing into more general conversation, George idly helping Milo roll a ball back and forth and just making sure he's alright. Dream dips in and out of things, spending most of his time on his hands and knees playing with their son, inputting a few words when Sapnap makes a stupid or comment or when he wants to tease Quackity.
It's cute. Domestic. Just guys hanging out, integrating Milo naturally.
"Oh my god."
The voice comes from a few feet away, and George looks up, seeing a group of three people, one wearing Karl's merch and the other two in Dream's. Immediately, George's muscles tense.
Quackity is the first to move, offering a wave to them, and Bad joins in.
The trio approaches. George's pulse quickens, and he looks to his husband. They both glance at Milo, and Dream gestures at himself. George shakes his head, points to himself, and Dream nods.
A silent agreement, that George will whisk Milo off somewhere until the fans are gone.
He stands, and lifts Milo into his arms, kissing the top of his forehead.
"I'll be back." George says to the rest of the group, and he starts walking in the opposite direction to the fans, holding Milo close.
"Wait, where's George going?" He hears one of them say.
Dream says something about 'the baby' and 'online', and George trusts he can placate them not getting a 5/5 picture.
Milo blinks at him, wriggling a bit.
"I know, I know. I promise we'll be right back with daddy and all our friends, we're just gonna wait here a minute." George stops by a tree, and grabs one of the low hanging branches. "Look Milo! What's this? A leaf! Ooh."
Milo's fingers grasp the leaf, and he pulls, but he doesn't have the strength to tear it from the tree. He frowns, and George notes that at this angle and with this expression, he looks the spitting image of Dream, save for his dark brown tufts of hair and eyes.
George takes the leaf for him, spinning it around by the stem. Milo responds with a pleased babble, so George keeps spinning it.
"Woo, look at it go." George glances back to their picnic blanket. Fans are still there. "You like it?"
Milo's fingers wrap around it. And then he moves the leaf towards his mouth, which George probably should have expected.
"No." George gently holds his wrist. "Not for eating, Milo."
Of course, he is a baby, so he doesn't understand and just tries again. George repeats.
"No." He shakes his head too, just to emphasise. "Give it back to mummy."
Milo's face creases, and the tears are about to set in. George pre-emptively switches his attention, starting a fun new game of 'flying'. He lifts Milo above his head, then back down, at a speed which is both safe and slow, yet enough to make his son laugh in excitement.
He drops the leaf, and they continue this game for a minute before Dream jogs over to them.
George smiles at him, and peeks again at the picnic blanket. The three fans are still there.
"Everything good?" George gives Dream a quick kiss instead of a hello.
"Yeah. They, uh, just want a pic with you as well." Dream puts a hand on George's waist. "So if you feel comfortable, we can do swapsies."
He reaches out for Milo, who seems more than happy to get a few minutes with his dad.
George nods, booping his son on the nose once he's settled with Dream.
"Be right back sweetie." George coos. "Love you."
Dream catches George's hand as he turns to walk away.
"Um." He clears his throat. "Also, just to let you know, I made up my mind. I wanna start trying for another baby."
George blinks, taking a few seconds to process. "What? Clay! Oh my god, wh- Why would say that now, I- Babe, that's..."
Dream squeezes his hand. "I needed to tell you as soon as, before I forgot until like... next month, probably. That okay? Sorry to spring that on you."
George's chest feels light, bubbly. He looks between his son and his husband. "I love you both so much."
Dream gasps. "Woah, Milo, did you hear that? Mommy said he loves you! Say 'I love you mama', that'd be pretty sick if you could do that."
"Don't be silly." George rolls his eyes. God, now he can't stop smiling, and Milo babbles, as if he is indeed trying to say 'I love you'. By the time he finishes taking pictures with the fan, he's ecstatic.
He's gonna have another baby!
"You're so loud." Dream's laugh is low and sends even more thrills down George's spine, lips touching and limbs entangled. "So loud for me."
"Shut me up then." George bats his eyes, fingers scrabbling against Dream's skin when he does, silencing George's moans with a hot kiss as he thrusts again.
"You're gonna be so pregnant." Dream whispers as he pulls out, only to slam right back in. George's brain isn't working, everything is just too much, he can only garble out another groan in response, squeezing around Dream as best as he can. "Gonna be full up with another one of our babies."
"God, you're so good at breeding me." George whines, trying to keep his volume to a whisper. Dream's mouth nips at his neck and shoulders. "My big, strong baby daddy."
"Yeah I am." Dream thrusts again, more sharply. "And you're my-"
A cry comes from the baby monitor, immediately snapping the sexual energy away. George pants and Dream kisses his forehead with a slight sigh. That's all the warning he gets, and Dream pulls out, George feeling immediately empty.
"I'll go." Dream grabs some his boxers from the floor, and stumbles out the room.
George rolls onto his side and checks his phone. They really need to sort a babysitter out; trying for a baby is very unsuccessful when there are interruptions. Sometimes they don't even finish, too lazy and tired to continue after they tend to Milo's needs.
Maybe the tiny amount of precum will get him pregnant? Is there even sperm in precum?
That's something to google. Instead, George just puts his phone down, and rests his palm on his belly.
In an ideal world, they would be asking Sapnap to look after Milo for an hour, except Sapnap fucking knows what they're into (something which he's still grumpy about; George hadn't let Dream fuck him for at least a month after he realised his asshole husband had accidentally confirmed their best friend's suspicion).
If their sex right now was about just the kink, just pregnancy, it wouldn't be so bad. But that's not really the goal, George wants another baby, and Sapnap potentially knowing they're trying just puts a dampener on things. George wants it to be special, just between him and Dream for now.
They could ask Dream's mother to babysit, but then Sapnap would complain that he wasn't selected, and then he'd still somehow find out they're trying, probably because Dream has a stupid big mouth.
It's not fair.
Over the baby monitor, George hears Dream comfort Milo, and the sobs quieten down, eventually replaced by silence. Dream reenters the bedroom, and lays beside George.
He links their hands together, and for a dumb reason it makes George blush. His husband is so cute, even if George would never use that word aloud for him.
"He's alright?" George mumbles.
Dream wraps his arms around him. "Yeah. Just needed some cuddles. We continuing?"
"You still in the mood?"
Dream sighs. "Not really. I'm sorry."
"Don't worry. I'm not either." George kisses him gently. "Maybe we should stop trying to be horny and do it all science-like. Just jerk yourself off and then let me know when you're gonna cum, and we'll just smush together."
Dream laughs. "That sounds terrible."
"You don't wanna smush?" George breaks into a smile. "No smushing?"
"You're ridiculous." Dream kisses his neck. "So silly."
"It would get me pregnant."
"I want to fuck you pregnant, it's just different."
George snorts. "'Fuck me pregnant'? That's such a dumb phrase."
"And yet it's gonna happen." Dream squeezes him. "Gonna get fucked pregnant, Georgie."
"That's dumb." George rolls his eyes, but he lets Dream kiss him again anyway.
There was a small part of George that gets very stressed whenever Milo and Patches interact. He loves them both, of course he does, but there's always the possibility that Patches could get grumpy and scratch his baby boy, or Milo could pull on Patches tail or tug at her fur.
Either way, he doesn't want either of them to get hurt.
So he usually only lets them interact for very brief amounts of time. But something about seeing Milo crawl after their cat, and Patches pausing to let him catch up before moving again makes George rethink it all.
Dream has already taken a dozen videos.
"Look at them!"
"I am." George tuts playfully, and leans in to Dream, arms looping around his waist. "They're so cute. Our babies."
Dream's smile widens, and he kisses George's temple.
"Imagine what it'll be like when there's another one."
"Will we get another cat to balance them out?" George raises a brow. "Maintaining the cat to baby ratio?"
Dream laughs. "I'm not so sure about that."
Patches meows, and Milo replies with a short noise of his own.
"Oh my god." George buries his face in Dream's chest. "That was adorable."
"Instead of a first word, Milo's gonna do a first meow."
"Stop, actually, that's too cute." George grins against Dream's sweater. "I'm gonna like, explode from how cute they are."
When George sits back up, after Dream messed with his hair, Sapnap's walking into the living room, pausing to appreciate Milo and Patches laps around the carpet.
"He's getting hella strong." Sapnap muses. "Gonna be walking soon, bet."
"Milo's just too talented for his own good." George nods, intently watching the way Patches gently nuzzles Milo, purring.
"My heart can't take this." Dream clutches his chest dramatically. "They're literally the best."
"We should get a kitten." Sapnap slouches on the couch. "We should get... two kittens."
"Mm, maybe." Dream glances at George. "Will we have enough time to give a kitty all the attention it needs though?"
"Yeah." Sapnap shrugs. "Milo's like... eight months now? He doesn't need the 24/7 newborn care, we could totally get another cat."
George exchanges a look with Dream. As subtle as he tries to be, Sapnap knows them too well.
"What the fuck guys? No way, you're-"
"No swear words in front of Milo." George interrupts him. Sapnap rolls his eyes.
"Fine. 'What the hell' then. I swear to god, if that little look you guys just did means you're pregnant again already, I'm gonna lose it."
Dream brushes his knuckles against George's.
Well, the privacy was nice while it lasted.
"I'm not pregnant. But we're trying."
Sapnap looks at Milo. "He's still a baby."
"Right." George nods. "But say that it takes at least another month for us to get pregnant, it means that he'll be around 1 and a half by the time we have Baby Number 2. Plenty of people have that age gap between siblings."
"Good point." Sapnap hums. "How long have you been... at it?"
George pulls a face, but Dream's arm loops around his shoulders.
"A few weeks now. Kinda hard to really... do much though. Dunno if you've heard, but Milo hasn't been sleeping great."
There's obvious hesitation on his face for a split second, but then Sapnap sighs. "I'll give you a hand. Not - Not with the actual process, obviously. But I can look after him when you're doing it."
"That'd be great, but you really don't have to." George's gaze is back on Milo, now busy investigating the colourful wooden blocks George's mother had sent over. "We're, yknow, managing."
"Unsuccessfully." Sapnap counters. "Just tell me when you want me to keep an ear out."
Dream meets George's eyes, and they both nod.

George has never felt so sick before a stream before. It's definitely reached a stage where he can't put it off any longer, and his nerves are acting up outrageously. He wants Dream there with him, his husband can rebuff anyone that oversteps, but someone has to look out for Milo.
God, that's what George wants to be doing. Cuddling with his nine month old, playing peek-a-boo or helping Milo develop his leg strength, or watching Dream tickle his belly as the room fills with adorable baby laughter.
But no. He has an obligation to his fans, so he's streaming. Ugh.
In a desperate attempt at warding off too many baby questions, Quackity and Sapnap agreed to join him, except Sapnap fucking flaked to marathon a new anime or whatever with Karl. Lame.
George adjusts his camera and double checks his mic is on, and adds Quackity into voice chat a few seconds before going live.
"Hi." George puts on his best smile, and tries not to look at himself. "Hello. Yes, I know! I know, I'm streaming, it's a modern day miracle."
"George!" Quackity singsongs. "Can you hear me?"
"Yeah. Chat, you can all hear Quackity, yeah? Good. Good." George clears his throat. "Um, so, it's been a while. Nearly a year I think? Maybe more than that, I don't remember."
"Yeah George, what's the deal? Where have you been, do you know how many cool streams you've missed? Me and Karl and Sapnap had this banger one, it was so good, I can't believe you and Dream rejected the invite."
"Well, yknow. Been a bit busy." George shrugs, aiming for nonchalance. "For everyone who's not in the loop, and just thought I disappeared out of nowhere - Not sure how you wouldn't have found out by now, but I had a baby! That's been very cool, very amazing, but also time consuming as hell. So, sorry, haven't had the time to do anything with you guys. But I'm here now! Gonna be playing some Hypixel minigames, but I'll definitely be terrible. Haven't even touched Minecraft in like a year."
"So cringe that you would your baby over Minecraft." Quackity jokes, and George adds him to his Hypixel party.
"Feel like maybe social services or something wouldn't be too happy with me if it was the other way round." George watches his chat flow, excitement and 'welcome back' messages filling up.
"Put your donos on George." Quackity's avatar runs past him. "I want to hear what your chat have to say."
"Fine, fine." George does. "What's it like in Q town?"
"It is cool as hell over here. Me and your baby have been texting, did you know he actually wants to move out already? Yeah, I'm kind of gonna let him crash with me."
George rolls his eyes. "Not sure he knows how to type."
"He does, he's a genius, he just doesn't want to tell you."
"Not true." George scoffs. "Oh shit, need to put text-to-speech on."
Only a few seconds, and the first message comes through.
'Hi George. Congratulations on your baby! What's his name?'
"Um, thanks for the 5. Me and Dream agreed that we wouldn't be sharing his name online, just like, for protection. But yknow, you guys can call him, uh..."
"DNF Junior." Quackity supplies. George rolls his eyes.
"Sure. DNF Junior." George shifts. His stomach is still churning, his hands still feel clammy, he misses Milo. This would be so much easier if he could just have Milo in his lap. "Quackity, can you - Did you just die? And I thought I would be the shitty one."
'Welcome back George !!! ILYSM. How would you describe motherhood?'
There's an uncomfortable heat beneath his skin. Maybe he should ban questions about this stuff.
"It's good. Really good. Tricky, sometimes, and I worry about my son and if I'm doing enough for him. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love being his mum, I love my baby very much. Also, single mums? I literally don't know how they do it. I cannot imagine what it would be like if I didn't have Dream with me."
"Bleh." Quackity grunts. "You're being gross George. Too mushy."
"Right, yeah." George clicks his tongue. "I do have a reputation to uphold."
"I get enough sappiness from Dream in the group chat."
"Dream's a sappy guy." George smiles despite himself. "Not a sappynappy guy though."
"Dreamnap will be real one day." Quackity says.
It makes George's insides twists, a possessiveness that he hates jumping out.
"Absolutely not. Dream is obsessed with me, Sapnap could never."
"Jealous George moment." Quackity cackles. "Everyone, clip it, put this in your compilations."
"No." George scoffs.
Another half hour flies by, donations and spamming in chat as wonderful yet terrible as always.
George's nervous stomach doesn't settle, so he can't properly relax. He keeps up his facade though, lapsing into his usual routines.
It's interrupted by an angrier churn in his belly. George frowns, and realises what's happening only seconds before it does.
He hurries from his chair, and doubles over the bin in the corner, spewing his guts out.
Dream must've had the stream on in the background or something, because he comes in only a few minutes after, worriedly pressing a hand to George's back.
George waits for Dream to take over, his husband ending the stream on his behalf. Once the retching stops, he stands again.
"Clay."
"You okay babe? If you go and lie down, I can get you some water or something. Anything."
George shakes his head. His stomach hasn't fully settled, but it's less distracting.
"I think I could be pregnant."
Dream blinks, then grabs George's hands with a beam. "Holy shit. Test?"
George nods. "Test."
Dream runs his hands over George's stomach, grinning like an idiot.
George rolls his eyes, but smiles back, leaning in to Dream's touch.
"I'm literally the best at sex." Dream says, voice low. "I put a baby in you."
"You're the worst, actually." George snorts. "Maybe it's someone else's."
"Absolutely not." Dream's fingers wrap around George's wrists, tone dangerous in a way that makes George's insides heat. "That's my baby. I knocked you up. Me and my big dick. Say it George, say you're pregnant with my baby again, because you love me and you love being full with my children."
George just smirks at him. Dream scowls.
"I'm pregnant." George singsongs. "You can't be mad at me."
"Tell me it's mine."
"No." George hasn't felt this lighthearted and playful in months. "I have tons of men, it could be anyone's."
"George." Dream pouts.
George gets pushed onto his back by firm yet gentle hands, and Dream presses a kiss to his stomach.
"No one else could ever get you pregnant. Only me. I've done it twice now, and if you keep running your mouth, I'll do it 10 more times."
"You want 12 babies?" George raises a brow, ignoring the warm arousal that Dream's touches are so good at pooling.
"I want a million." Dream tuts. "Maybe we're going to have triplets. Or quadruplets. What's the word for 5? What about... How many babies is it possible to have in one go?"
George snorts. "There's that person that had 8. But I think it was artificially implanted or something."
Dream hums, and his fingers continue to graze George's belly. George feels himself soften, and allows it to happen.
He cups Dream's cheeks and offers him a smile. "I love carrying your babies. Best thing I know how to do."
"I'm so hyped to watch you grow again." Dream pecks his lips. "My babymama. I love you. And I already love this one."
"Imagine what it's gonna be like when they're here." George bumps their foreheads together. "We get to watch Milo be a big brother."
"Shit." Dream holds George tighter. "We're so lucky."
"I know." George places his palm on his stomach. It feels like forever since he's gotten to feel it swell with new life, it's invigorating to know that he's carrying Dream's child all over again. "I'm having your baby!"
Dream kisses him.

:/
George is pretty sure that when he was pregnant with Milo, he was not this nauseous.
It feels like practically anything can set him off, a whiff of cooking oil enough to send him gagging over the sink, Dream's coffee breath in the mornings causing him to double over in front of the bin, watching Sapnap eat an apple can make him run to the toilet and puke his guts out.
If Sapnap hadn't already guessed, it would be hard to keep the pregnancy a secret for more than a day, let alone the 3 weeks its been since George's stream.
Milo's empathy skills are getting exercised, his baby cuddling and cooing over him regularly, although he does seem a bit irked that George's recent lethargy has resulted in less playtime, but Dream's been pretty good at distracting him with his own games.
"Thank you sweetheart." George kisses his son's forehead as Milo gives him the rabbit, the three of them sitting in the nursery together. "I'm sorry I'm so sick at the moment. Mummy loves to play with you, it'll be the first thing we do when I feel better."
Milo babbles in response, and Dream's fingers twiddle with his tufts of baby hair.
Maybe it's an increase in hormones already, or maybe George is just too in love, but every single interaction between his husband and their child has made his heart melt. It's just too much, he literally has the perfect life, Dream is an incredible father and George gets to raise another baby with him. They're going to have children, plural!
"Do you want some kisses and cuddles with daddy?" George wants more, more father-son pictures, wants a whole collage of them in his mind and on his phone and everywhere. All the time.
Milo clambers across George's lap and into Dream's arms.
"Hey Milo." Dream smiles at him. "Mommy send you over here? Yeah, he's definitely feeling not very well right now, but once that all stops, everything's gonna be great!"
Milo replies with some nonsense babytalk. It's adorable, the way he tries to mimic Dream's speech patterns, and while George is excited to hear him say his first words and learn to speak, there is something special about Milo's eager noises.
"I think he wants to practice standing." George notes, Milo's feet wriggling to find somewhere firm.
"No problem kiddo." Dream shuffles his position, holding Milo upright onto the floor. Slowly, he moves his hands to hold Milo's, no longer keeping him in position.
George watches with adoration, his baby's fingers gripped around Dream's as his little legs wobble but do not give way.
"That's it sweetheart." George coos. "You're doing amazing Milo. Look at you! Standing all by yourself! My baby, I'm so proud of you."
Milo offers more babbles in reply.
"Woah, you're so strong buddy. What strong legs you've got, that's so cool. I bet soon you're gonna be racing over to mama." Dream kisses Milo's brow. "Where's mama, Milo? Find mommy!"
George's heart swells again as Milo looks to him. Their baby is just so talented and smart, can find and recognise people. He knows who George is, knows that George will always be there for him, and it's only evidenced further by the way Milo lapses back onto his hands and knees to crawl back to him.
After some overdramatic clapping and celebration, Milo joining in with the most adorable claps of his own, they do it all over again, George asking Milo to 'find daddy'. They go back and forth for a while, Milo getting more and more excited each time.
It's amazing.

kinda crazy that this fathers day i'm thinking abt it in terms of my husband rather than my dad. its so weird. anyway
|
Happy Father's Day @Dream !! We've been parents for around 10 and a bit months now and you are the definition of a perfect father. Our son thinks you're amazing and the best dad ever. We both know you're his fav playpal and I doubt that will ever change.

In celebration, here is a pic from when he was a born because he has changed enough that he looks different now, so I am comfortable sharing. Taken maybe 10 mins after u guys met for the first time. My boys <3

If Milo was a bit older, George would be a bit more hesitant to refer and talk about pregnancy and the new baby in front of him. But as it is right now, he doesn't understand the concept of 'siblings' or 'mommy is having another baby', so it's all good. They don't have to be careful about what they say, any and all baby talk is on the table.
"George."
"Mm?" He doesn't look away from where Milo is learning how to stack wooden blocks on top of each other on the living room floor, but he gives Sapnap a hum to continue.
"How does birth work?"
Dream laughs, and the sound makes Milo giggle too. That's one of George's favourite things, the way he parrots his father.
"That's a stupid question." George rolls his eyes. "Did you not do biology?"
"Yeah, but only how women do it." Sapnap lays back on the couch. "Does your penis expand or something?"
Dream outright howls at that, doubling over as he wheezes, Milo abandoning his blocks to sit and laugh with him.
George lets out a snort of his own. "No. It doesn't. I'll tell you that I get pregnant through the usual... love-making, and you can figure out the rest by yourself."
Sapnap pulls a face. "I don't need to know about Dream's dick in your ass."
"Mind your language." Dream says automatically, caressing Milo's smiling cheeks. "No swears in front of Milo, c'mon."
"Also, you basically asked." George shakes his head. There's a flutter in his stomach, and he puts a hand over his stomach. "Clay, the baby's moving."
Dream's eyes snap to him, and he beams. "For real? What kind of moving?"
"Mm, like a light tickle?" George purses his lips, analysing further. "Or bubbles, or something."
"That's sick." Dream presses a kiss to the back of Milo's head, nose burying in his hair. "I can't believe we're having another one."
"It's pretty wild." Sapnap moves to the floor, stacking some of Milo's blocks himself. This draws attention, Milo crawling over and watching the tower get higher. "Is this house gonna get overrun with kids? That's like - Aw, dude you wanna go? Here."
Sapnap hands Milo another block. George watches his son stretch to place the block down, although it's definitely with too much force, as the mini tower collapses to the floor.
Milo bursts into tears.
"Oh sweetie." George frowns, and gently checks him over. "Are you hurt? It's alright Milo, it's okay."
Dream wraps him up in his arms. "Don't worry. We can build it again. That was quite a loud noise, huh?"
With the combined comfort of his mother and father, Milo is quickly consoled, as Sapnap rebuilds the wooden blocks up.
"I wouldn't mind if you overran the house with babies." Sapnap says once Milo calms down. "You're good parents. They'll be happy kids, even if there are a million of them."
"We're not having a million." George rolls his eyes. "We're having a hundred, don't be silly."
Dream scoffs. "I love you, but I'm not sure your body would like being pregnant a hundred times."
"Is that even possible? What's the highest number babies that one person has ever had?"
George shrugs at Sapnap. "I dunno. Probably like 50."
Sapnap's jaw drops. "Tell me you're not aiming to break the record."
George rolls his eyes when he notices the glint of challenge in Dream's eye. "No."
"But-"
"Clay. No."
George doesn't notice a bump until after his 12 week ultrasound. It's small, cute, and healthy. Everything he could ask for.
There's no need for maternity wear yet, probably not for another month at least, his tiny baby belly easily fitting within his usual swampy hoodies and baggy pants.
"You look beautiful." Dream murmurs against his ear as they both survey George's shirtless reflection. His hands are cupped around the bump, and George thrives off of it, lives for his husband fawning over his pregnancy. "My babymama."
George twists to the side, eyeing the slope of his belly. He's definitely a bit rounder than he was last week. The leftover weight from his pregnancy with Milo is for sure adding an extra element of domesticity; he's soft, pregnant and his skin is clear.
"I love the early days." George hums, gliding his fingers along Dream's hands. "I look so good."
"Gorgeous." Dream nods. "And it's all like, quiet and stuff. Just for us, for now."
George smiles, resting his head back on Dream's shoulder. "How big do you think I'll get this time?"
Dream hums, and sticks his arms out a foot away from George, mimicking his imaginary future size. "This big."
"You're ridiculous." George snorts and grabs Dream's wrists, moving them a bit closer to himself. "Maybe here?"
"Mm." Dream's lips press to George's neck. "Hot. My big pregnant husband."
"We gonna do another photoshoot?" George runs his fingers over his little curve. "Gonna show me off to everyone all over again? Make me your public babymaking whore?"
"So soon after having our son too." Dream's voice lowers. "You just can't help but spread your legs for me, always desperate to make more babies for me."
George keens, leaning further into Dream, still caressing his small bump.
"I think it would be more fun if we didn't do a photoshoot this time." Dream whispers against George's ear. "I want to see just how long you can go before everyone realises you got knocked up again. You should post more pictures of yourself. Like once a week, on your story or something. And pose in a way that makes it seem like you're trying to hide your bump, but it just keeps growing, so you're failing to keep it hidden."
George's face heats. "Give me an example."
"You could hold a little cushion over your belly, all casual and shit. Except the cushion's just a bit too small to cover up all of your bump, like you've underestimated just how big and round you're getting, but you post it anyway because you're far too busy to analyse it. You're a mama after all, you've got so much stuff to do. But everyone will screenshot it, zoom in, notice the way your sweater is a bit snug and honestly, you're looking a bit bigger. Maybe everyone will dismiss it, but then you do it again next week. Covering up your growing middle by taking a selfie sitting at the desk. Except the angle is fucked, and you don't realise you're showing off a little bit of your bump. Pictures like that, every single week, until we get something like 'Preggy Gogy' on trending. And then we can do a photo shoot."
George swoons involuntarily with Dream's words.
"You're so fucking hot Clay." George kisses him deeply. "I love you."
"I love you more." Dream's hands slide to George's ass. "So much babe. Can't believe you want more of my babies."
"I want all of your babies."
Dream's fingers play with the waistband of George's pants, but a cry comes through the baby monitor before things can get too heated. George steps away from his husband and puts on a loose shirt.
8 A.M.
Milo's had a good sleep, he's usually awake much earlier than this.
Dream pecks George's lips before moving for the nursery, and George leaves his top buttons undone, ready to give Milo the first half of his breakfast before he eats some mushed banana in the kitchen.
"Should we do something big for Milo's birthday?"
Dream raises a brow at George. "He's a baby, I don't think he even knows what a birthday is."
"But we do." George looks at his son, 11 months old and climbing all over Dream. "Milo, sweetheart, you can't go that high."
"Yes he can." Dream clicks his tongue, and helps Milo find footing on his chest. "You can climb however much you like. You're my big strong boy Milo, I bet you can reach my shoulders."
"Clay." George shifts uncomfortably, resting one hand on his small bump while his other hovers awkwardly around Milo's back. "What if he falls?"
"We're on the couch George, he'd just fall onto my lap."
It is not a good enough answer, not for George.
"What if he falls backwards?"
"Then I will catch him." Dream's cheek gets smushed by Milo's hand. "Milo, tell mommy you're having fun, he's being a worrier."
"Can you just stop?" George's heart clenches briefly when he sees Milo's foot slip for a second. "Or at least hold him."
"Mommy is being such a worrywart right now." Dream doesn't directly reply, and it makes George's skin crawl.
"Clay-"
"Honey." Dream looks at him. "This is good for his development. Milo needs to learn how to support himself, he doesn't need us to hold and coddle him all the time. Look, he's balancing really well."
George scowls. "He's my baby, you don't need to tell me how to help him develop."
"He's my baby too." Dream has the audacity to roll his eyes. "Milo, you're fine, aren't you sweetheart? Look, you're smiling! Yes you are. My boy."
"He is going to fall." George lets his irritation seep into his voice. His husband is a dickhead. "I don't understand why you can't just-"
Milo cuts George off with a happy babble, and Dream smiles like it's proving his point.
"Yes, we are having so much fun! You're such a good climber Milo, a proper mountaineer."
"Would it kill you to just hold him safely?"
"He doesn't need-"
Milo slips, and George's heart is in his throat in the split second of time where his son is free falling.
Dream's arms are wrapped around him before George can move. And Milo laughs, like it is not the scariest thing in the world.
"Whoopsie! Did your little feet accidentally misstep?" Dream coos at him, bouncing his knee. "You're okay, aren't you sweetheart? Look, honey, Milo's - Baby, are you okay?"
It's definitely a hormone thing, George refuses to think he'd cry under normal, non-pregnant circumstances. But the panic is still there, he knows he was overreacting and being unnecessarily protective, knows that there is no way that Dream would ever allow their son to get hurt, but the fear is intense and lingering. George can't help but imagine a scenario where Dream didn't catch him, and Milo fell from his father's chest all the way to the floor.
"Babe." Dream says softly. He wraps one arm around George's shoulders, and Milo is quiet, looking at George with curious eyes. "Georgie. Oh honey, I didn't - I'm sorry. It's alright. Look, he's fine. Milo, look, come cuddle mommy with me. Say 'it's okay mommy!' Look, look, George, he's okay."
George just weeps some more, and Milo clambers into his arms. George adjusts so that he's not weighing on the bump, and buries his face in Milo's growing tufts of hair.
"I love you so much." George whispers. "Mummy loves you. I know I shouldn't be so worried, I'm sorry, I don't want you to see me cry. I love you so much Milo."
Milo coos softly in response, and it just makes George want to cry more. His baby's already so empathetic, already so kind and caring. Dream kisses the top of his head.
"I'm really sorry babe. I didn't think."
George shakes his head. "I know I'm being too... I don't know." He takes a deep breath, then puts on his best smile for his son. "Was that fun sweetheart? Did you like climbing high? Good practice for when you start walking, I know you're gonna have so much fun doing that. My little athlete. Olympic climber. Maybe you will go to Everest one day. Daddy's a good mountain isn't he? And so good at catching you too."
Milo rambles in babytalk as a reply, George and Dream attentively nodding along.
Dream doesn't often stream in the middle of the day, but when it's a community event, he doesn't really have a choice.
As usual, George has the stream playing on his phone while he plays with Milo, matching shapes with him and celebrating with each success.
"OH MY GOD! Sapnap, you're actually insane. Go, go, go, c'mon!"
Dream's excited shout through the speaker draws Milo's attention, and he looks at it curiously.
"Is that daddy?" George prompts. "Daddy's working, he'll be back to play with you very soon. But right now, you're playing with mummy. Look, a rectangle! Let's find another one."
Trying to maintain his attention works for another minute, but then Milo's focused on the stream again. George hesitates, and turns it off.
Milo's face crumples.
"Milo, c'mon sweetheart, no phone time for you, not yet, you're too little. Daddy will be back soon, I promise." George smooths his hand over his small bump, the flutters distracting him. He grabs a toy car, rolling it in front of him. "What's this Milo? Vroom, vroom, a car!"
"Da." Milo replies, hands grabbing for the phone.
George blinks at him. "W-What did you say?"
His son whines.
"Did you say 'da'? Like dada? You want dada?"
Milo babbles back at him.
"Milo-"
"Dada."
George's brain shortcircuits. He scoops Milo into his arms, and hurries to Dream, not bothering to knock.
Dream swivels in his chair and tilts his head.
"One sec guys." He says into the microphone. "AFK."
He shifts his headphones off and mutes, as Milo reaches for him. Dream takes him, expression still curious.
"Hey you. You alright? What's got you and mommy so flustered?"
"Clay." George has never felt so much euphoria sweeping through him. "Clay, he - Milo. Milo, show daddy, show daddy what word you know."
Dream gawps, looking between George and their son. "What? Wh- Milo, you said your first word?"
"Say it again." George crouches to Milo's eye level, and points at Dream. "Whose this? Is this dada?"
Dream's eyes go misty. "He said dada? And I missed it?"
"It's okay, it's alright, he'll say it again babe." George points at his husband again. "What did you say Milo? Look, look! It's dada."
Milo blinks, then beams. His hands clap to Dream's cheeks. "Dada!"
Dream gasps. "That's me, that's me, I'm your dada. Oh my god. That's amazing. Hi Milo. Hi."
George claps and Dream peppers kisses to Milo's forehead, which prompts more 'da's and 'dada's.
"I love you so much." Dream coos. "I love you Milo."
George can't stop grinning. Is there a slight disappoint that 'mama' didn't make the cut for first word? A bit. But that just means he's next. And by the time their second baby is born, surely it means Milo will be an expert? He'll be able to say his sibling's name no problem.
And that thought is one of the most heart-warming things George can imagine.

George's maternity wear is finally in full use again, his preferred pants of choice his Dream-branded sweats. After some eyelash batting and kissy faces, he's successfully convinced his husband to produce a maternity blouse too; George would never admit it, but he loves wearing Dream's clothes more than anything, loves having his husband's logo all over him. It means people can see George is his, he is Dream's husband, he is the mother of Dream's children, he is the only one that Dream wants.
This prototype of the new Dream Maternity Top sucks though. George hates it.
"It's itchy."
"Right." Dream scribbles on a notepad. "That's-"
"It's too tight." George plucks at the fabric. There's so little give, and his 15 week bump is still relatively small, this will be hell to wear in later months. "And look, your print is bad. It looks like your blob person is trying to reach my chest."
"Okay, well..." Dream jots down some more. "To be fair, I do love your chest. The blob's an accurate representation, you look great with breasts."
"Right, but I don't want your avatar near anyone else's. So you can keep it like that for me, but not for anyone else."
"Mhm. Okay."
George takes the top off. "I literally hate the feel of it."
"Your belly is so sensitive right now, it's the exact same fabric as the last one, you said you liked it."
"No, I want it to be softer." George brushes his knuckle over his bump. "My baby deserves the best."
"Our baby."
George tuts. "If it's our baby, you should want to give them softer clothes."
"Okay, okay, I'll pass that on." Dream puts the notepad down, and touches his fingertips to George's stomach. "They alright? Does itchy fabric for real make 'em feel weird?"
George shrugs. "I dunno. They wiggled more."
"We like them wiggling, that's a good thing."
"No, these were angry wiggles." George is chatting shit, and Dream definitely knows that, but he keeps it up anyway. "Baby said 'daddy, please don't make mummy wear that awful clothing.'"
Dream laughs, and crouches down, pressing his lips to George's bump. "It's okay sweetpea. I will make mommy wear different awful clothing instead."
George snorts and swats Dream's shoulder lightly. "You're an idiot."
"No, you."
1 year olds don't need birthday parties, so instead Milo just gets lots of presents.
George is fully aware they went overboard, his son does not need all of the new toys he and Dream have purchased, on top of everything from both sides of the family and Sapnap, but it's fun anyway.
Maybe a bit of a waste of money, as Milo seems delighted by the mere concept of unwrapping things, they should have just wrapped up a ton of empty cardboard boxes and sat back to watch their son tear away at paper.
"Mama." Milo looks at George as he struggles to open a highly-taped gift from his Granny C.
George gently tears one edge, then hands it back to Milo, the rest falling away easily.
"Woah, what's that Milo?" Dream holds his phone out, in charge of recording to send to the family overseas.
Their son holds up a fistful of wrapping paper as the toy dinosaur falls to the ground ignored. George laughs softly.
"No, honey, look, it's here!" George picks up the t-rex and lifts it to Milo's eyeline. "Ooh, a dinosaur. Isn't that cool?"
Milo holds it for a second, staring at the bright colours. Then abandons it to once more scrunch and rip the wrapping paper.
"Man, George, you guys really should have just skipped the whole actual presenst thing." Sapnap heckles from his place on the couch. Dream rolls his eyes.
"No, he'll play with all his new things soon, I think he's just discovered the magic of gifts. Isn't that right Milo?"
George nods in agreement, and points to Dream's phone, drawing Milo's attention.
"You wanna say 'Thank you Granny C'? She got you a really cool present, didn't she?"
Milo babbles, and crawls towards his next gift.
The look on Dream's face as he watches is adorable. George loves his little family.
Milo has finally moved on from the wrapping paper, and is now focused on his present from Sapnap, a plushy octopus that lights up and plays different tunes depending on the tentacle squeezed.
"I told you, I got him the best thing. I'm literally the favourite and the best."
Dream huffs at that. "No you're not. You just got lucky."
George ignores the resulting bickering with an eyeroll, stretching out instead. Sitting on the floor is so much more comfortable when not pregnant, his little bump starting to get in the way a bit.
Milo squeezes the same tentacle as he has the previous 5 or 6 times, waving his arms almost in-time with the music, giggling to himself.
"Milo." George calls softly, his little boy turning to look at him. God, how can he be a year old already? Time has fucking flown by. "Do you want to try a different song?"
He reaches for a tentacle, but Milo moves it away.
"Mama." It's more high-pitched than usual. Definitely a 'no, don't' kind of tone, George makes a mental note of that.
"Alright. Sorry baby. Just wanted to help." George leaves him to it. He'll figure out how to make different songs by himself. Milo's a smart little cookie like that.
"Besides, I kind of told you to get it, so really, I got him the best thing, you just paid for it."
"You're such a liar Dream, I found it and just asked if it was suitable."
"No, no, because-"
"Guys." George clicks his tongue. "No arguing on Milo's birthday."
His husband and Sapnap go quiet. For a few seconds, at least.
"George, babe, all I'm saying is that Sap definitely is not the favourite."
"Honey." George rolls his eyes. "Clay. C'mon. It is your son's first birthday, let it go."
Dream huffs but nods, and shuffles past some left over wrapping paper to put his arms around George.
"I know. You're right."
They watch Milo together, Dream ocassionally pressing kisses to George's cheek and caressing the baby bump.
"I can't believe he's 1." George mumbles. "Our little boy."
"I know right?" Sapnap stands from the couch. "It's crazy. Hard to believe that a year ago you were laying in hospital and stuff."
"God, that feeling was amazing." George whispers. He doesn't take his eyes off Milo, who's discovered a second tentacle tune. "Do you remember Clay? Meeting him?"
"Course I do." Dream holds George a bit tighter. "I've never felt so much love. For you, and for this tiny guy that I'd never met before."
"You cried like you were the baby." George smiles to himself. Dream chuckles and kisses him.
"I'm gonna make more coffee. You guys want anything?"
George waves Sapnap off, captivated by his little boy and the memories flooding his mind. Milo looks up as Sapnap leaves, and abandons the octopus to pull himself up using the edge of the couch.
Dream immediately moves closer to him, and George gives Milo a little cheer.
He's gotten great at standing, it's only a matter of time before -
"Oh my god." George's heart feels like it might burst.
"Milo! Oh my god, sweetheart, look at you!" Dream spreads his arms.
It feels very special to have his first step happen on his first birthday. And then his second step, then his third...
"You're doing amazing." George coos. He gestures at Dream. "You wanna go to daddy? Go to dada?"
Another step. George feels like weeping.
"Wow, look at you go!" Dream opens his arms wider. "C'mere Milo. Come to daddy!"
A few more steps, each one small and shaky, and then Milo wobbles and falls only an inch or two away from Dream, who of course catches him.
George goes a bit mental, cheering and whooping as he cuddle them both, peppering kisses all over the back of Milo's head.
"You did it! That was so good, I'm so proud of you, mummy's so proud of you, you made it to daddy all by yourself!"
"Milo, you're so smart and strong! I love you so much. You're gonna be running around the place soon, that's crazy. I love you, maybe next time you'll be walking over to mommy."
Milo relishes in the praise, a few 'mama's and 'dada's mixed in between his babbles. George cups his son's smiling chubby cheeks, and he feels the baby in his belly flutter happily too.
God, he has the perfect family.
Sapnap re-enters with his coffee and raises a brow at the celebrations going on.
"Did I miss something?"
"Milo walked!" Dream beams.
Sapnap gasps in horror. "And I missed it?"

George smirks as he looks at the trending tab, then at Dream.
"You did it baby." Dream's voice is a low purr. "Even sooner than last time. Telling everyone about our baby at 17 weeks."
George makes a show of cupping his bump. "I'm just getting too big. You're just too good at making me carry your babies."
"No babe." Dream's hands run along George's sides. "You're too good at getting all filled up for me. For us. Too good at being my pregnant slut."
A quiet moan escapes George's lips. He continues to rub his belly, turning as best as he can to get the peak of his curve to brush against Dream's fingers.
"It's getting a bit more difficult to twist around for you" George murmurs. "My belly's starting to be in the way again."
"Good." Dream's lips are at George's neck. "I love it when you're all round and unflexible. Means you're doing a good job for us, means you're doing really well at carrying our baby."
"I'd do anything to carry our baby." George keens. "Let my bump get as swollen and tight and uncomfortable as it needs to be. Help our baby grow. Show everyone I'm yours."
Dream offers a groan in response, sliding his hand beneath George's (comfier, finalised, Dream Merch Branded) maternity top.
"Look at you. Wearing my brand, full with my baby, my ring on your finger."
"I'm yours Clay." George whispers. "And you're mine. My baby daddy, my husband, my strong handsome provider."
"Can I fuck you?" Dream asks, tone unreasonably soft.
George winds his arms around his husband's neck. "Yes please."

CARRIER MONTHLY ISSUE #94
'My son is my favourite person' - An Interview with George Not Found
by Buck R.
When my boss told me to find a way to set up an interview with e-celeb and popular streamer GeorgeNotFound, I had assumed I'd have to go through hoops, as other journalists have shared with me when we exchange quiet whispers about the various quasi-famous people they have tried to meet with.
However, all it took was an initial email, three replies as he asked me what exactly he should expect, a phone call to decide on a meeting time, and an apologetic reschedule from my end to get here, sitting down in Carrier Monthly's Orlando office.
George Davidson (his married surname is something that he emphasised remains strictly confidential) is a 28 year old Englishman, who blew up in the online space in late 2019 with his then-friend, now-husband 'Dream', real name Clay. Their private life together is something George rarely discusses in front of his fans, but he revealed that he was a carrier approximately a year and a half ago when he announced a pregnancy.
Given his history of secrecy, I found it especially important to ask some questions that might shed some more light on what goes on within the 'Dream Team Home', the household comprised of George, Clay, their son and their mutual friend and fellow influencer Nick, known online as 'Sapnap'.
What follows is a transcript of our meeting, minus the initial pleasantries of course, with situational anecdotes threaded in.
CM: Do you want to start with an easy question or shall we get straight into the deep stuff?
George: [Laughs] May as well jump to the juicier stuff, right? [I'm] sure that's what the people are here for.
CM: Alright then, you asked for it. Thinking back to last year, was there any doubt or regret in your decision to tell your community that you're a carrier?
George: Oh my God, you really did mean 'deep'. Let me think, it feels like so long ago. I don't remember there being any doubt or regret or anything. My pregnancy with my son was pretty much planned, and I think that me and my friends have a pretty welcoming community, so I wasn't worried about any negative reactions or anything. They were there, but only [about] one nasty reply for every thousand positive ones. The biggest cause of 'maybe I shouldn't say anything' was based around potential worries about my son's safety. I'd say that was the only doubt I had, if I had any at all.
CM: Your pregnancy was 'pretty much planned'?
[George chuckled at my question, and started to fiddle with his wedding ring, a gold band with some very expensive-looking jewels encrusted. He continued to touch his ring throughout the interview, perhaps a form of emotional anchoring.]
George: I don't know how else to describe it. [Hesitates.] My husband Clay and I became very loose with using contraception after we got married. We both knew we wanted to have at least one baby, but weren't super sure if we wanted to actively try. Does that make sense? With me not on birth control and our - [pause] - use of 'wrappers' being so inconsistent, we figured that I'd get pregnant within the year. And we did! So, 'kind of planned', in the sense that if a year had passed and we got nothing, then we'd start really, really trying.
CM: Did concerns about your online community put you off from trying immediately?
George: Not really. On our honeymoon, we said [paraphrasing]: 'Babies are on the cards for us. This year, [Clay's] got some project he wants to finish off, I [George] might need a bit of self-improvement before ready to parent, let's just see how it goes'. You know?
CM: I understand. How did your first pregnancy go once you'd conceived?
George: Amazing. I only had a week of morning sickness near the start, and the rest was all really smooth sailing. I love being pregnant. I know that it's something a lot of cis carriers struggle with, balancing the traditional ideas of masculinity with something that our society percieves as more 'feminine', but I never really felt that. Clay was a massive help with everything, he always knew what to say in the rare moments where I didn't feel so great, but overall it was such a fulfilling experience. Getting to grow my son, feeling a connection with him even before he was born... [It] was just the best.
CM: Would you agree that this is a good point to discuss the elephant in the room?
[George nodded at me.]
CM: So there have been a few rumours floating around about you and your family lately. Care to confirm or deny?
George: [With a big smile] I can confirm that I'm pregnant again.
[I congratulate him and he thanks me, hands folded over his growing bump.]
CM: How far along are you?
George: That's more private information. Clay and I don't really like people being able to guess when I'm due, just for the baby's safety. But I'm about halfway through the second trimester if that helps.
CM: Are you excited?
George: Absolutely. I can't wait to hold a newborn baby again, and Clay's been ecstatic since we found out.
CM: What do you think about the idea that your second pregnancy is 'too soon'? Would you agree with that?
George: I think it's a bit disrespectful for people to talk about that. Online, I've seen so many tweets questioning it or saying that it would be irresponsible for us to have another baby when our son has only just turned a year old. But Clay and I know our family, we understand that having 'two under two' can raise eyebrows, and it doesn't phase us. I want our children to be close in age, and while my son doesn't understand the concept of siblings or pregnancy yet, he is one of the most gentle people I've ever met, and I know he's going to be a good big brother in the future. Obviously, he'll still be young and developing when this baby arrives, and I nor Clay have any intention of trying to rush things.
CM: Can you elaborate?
George: Sure. We both know that as a one year old, [son's name] still needs loads of attention and care. Our second child won't distract from that, we want to allow our son to thrive and grow as his own person, not get relegated to 'older brother' or push him aside and get caught up in caring for our new baby. They will both be treated with all the care and love they could possibly need - probably even more than they need. My son is my favourite person in the world, and I expect my second child will share that rank with him once they're born; I want them both to be happy and healthy, I wouldn't have gotten pregnant if I thought a new baby might disrupt how I care for my son.
[After the passionate dialogue about his son's wellbeing, George realised he'd mentioned his son's name, and profusely requested it not be published. If there is one thing I've learnt from my interview with George, it is that he views his children's safety and protection as his top priority.]
CM: Could we talk about your marriage?
George: Of course. I love talking about my husband.
CM: Really? Online when you're streaming or talking to Clay in front of your fanbase, you have an image of being quite terse or dismissive with his public flirting.
George: How we are online can be really different to how we are in person. There's a lot of history there, between me and Clay. I don't know how much your readers will know or anything, but the basics are that before we started dating, our fans really liked our 'back-and-forth' teasing and decided to start 'shipping' us. So we got loads of fanart of us kissing, people would write about us secretly dating, there would be all sorts of compilations of us edited to be in a more romantic setting. Keep in mind, that was all before I'd ever met Clay in person. I don't really like being percieved with all the emotion-stuff, so I kept up that facade of just batting Dream's joke advances away, maybe I pretended to flirt a little bit every other month. It was for sure just pandering into what got us more views, acting in the ways people enjoyed and went crazy over... I don't remember when my feelings for Dream became real, but my default streaming persona is still full of all the snarky responses everyone expects. It's different in private though.
CM: So in private, what does a married, domestic George look like?
George: [It's] so weird to even think about describing myself like that. Can I - [hesitates] - Sorry, could I call my husband? I really don't think I can answer this question, he'd do it way better.
[It's unconventional, but George was already grabbing his phone. Before I knew it, I was on speaker to Dream, the 63 million subscriber YouTuber, one of the most influential men on that corner of the internet.]
Clay, via phone: George?
George: Help me answer a question.
[After a brief introduction, I repeated the aforementioned question.]
Clay: Oh that's a good one. Married, domestic George? Honey, you get too shy to answer this one yourself? Cute.
George: [Blushing] Shut up.
Clay: He's always like that. [Clay laughs.] He gets so shy when I compliment him in front of people! He's not like this when it's just us, he's all over it then. A compliment fiend really, he loves them. 'Just one more!'
George: I have never said that.
Clay: Maybe not directly. But you go all pouty if I give you like, one less than usual. And then the compliments I get back! Dude, George is honestly such a softie, everyone should be jealous that me and our son are the only ones that get to see him like that. And Nick sometimes, but only if he walks in on it. He's a big touch fan I think. More than words anyway, especially since getting pregnant the first time round. Very cuddly, very grabby. Good kisser. Think he might like cuddling our son more than he likes cuddling me, but that's alright, I'm the same. George, am I missing anything?
George: I think you've said enough.
Clay: I love George so much. Marrying him is in the top three moments of my life ever. He's so handsome and perfect. The ideal man, such an incredible mother and so -
[George hung up the call, and he looked very flustered.]
George: Sorry. He's an idiot.
CM: He certainly seems to love you.
George: Yeah, he does.
[George smiled at that, twisting his ring again. I decided to probe a bit more.]
CM: And you love him?
George: He's second only to our children. Before our son was born, he was the one person I love more than anything. There's now two people I love more than anything - two and a half, soon to be three once this little one arrives - and our son just about beats him in the hierarchy of my favourite people. I moved across the world for him, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I don't necessarily believe in soulmates, but I know Clay is mine. And I'm his. That's just kind of how it's always been, I can't imagine a universe where I never fall totally in love with him.
INTERVIEW CONTINUES ON PAGE 2!! -> -> ->
After the interview is published, Dream releases the maternity tees, and the usual celebration that George had expected happens. Fans congratulate him, some brag about calling it weeks ago, his friends publicly offer their well wishes, and Dream makes out with him in bed.
It's all great.
And Milo has developed an interest in the bump, his unborn sibling now 19 weeks old.
George is content to let him explore, Milo patting and poking the 'fascinating' bump, although sometimes he has to stop him from prodding too hard.
"I'm literally obsessed with this." Dream coos as Milo's little hand trails over George's belly. "You guys are so cute. Milo, is that mommy's baby bump? Your little brother or sister is in there, isn't that sick?"
George runs his fingers through Milo's hair. "You're gonna be such a good big brother."
Milo babbles in response, a few shrieks sprinkled in for good measure. Dream must have taken a thousand photos at this point, phone in hand and camera aimed at their son. The moment lasts for a few more minutes, before Milo gets bored, shakily standing to toddle around.
Between recording videos, parenting, and just doing their usual day to day activities, time kind of blurs for George. One moment, he's got months before his second baby arrives, and then he blinks and he's a few days past his due date, Milo has learnt to say 'no', 'Nick', and 'Patchy', and Dream is spending all hours worrying.
"What if you're in labour for even longer than last time? What if it's like, two days or something, we're gone for a while, and Milo-"
"Nick knows how to look after him. And your mum is around too." George shuts his eyes and lays his head on his pillow. Listening to Dream stress is really not what he needs right now. He's round, tired, and he feels like he's going to pop. "What's Milo doing right now?"
"I'm about to get him ready for naptime."
George peeks an eye open, and rubs his stomach, baby writhing around uncomfortably in there.
"I wanna cuddle with him. And you. Just some family time." He pouts, giving Dream his best pleading look. "I know we're supposed to be trying to enforce separate sleeping, but -"
"I know. One nap together isn't gonna hurt. I can get him."
"Thank you babe." George shuts his eyes again. "Sorry I'm being lazy."
"You be as lazy as you want gorgeous, need all the rest you can get before this one arrives."
The mattress dips as Dream leans on it to give George a kiss before leaving. George wraps himself up in their covers, caressing his swollen stomach and breathing evenly as he waits for his favourite person to arrive and snuggle with him.
"'S naptime buddy." He hears Dream say, voice once more in the room.
"No!" Milo sounds teary. Clearly over-tired.
"Look, Milo." Dream drops to a 'whisper'. "You wanna go lay with mommy?"
A whine. George gathers the willpower to open his eyes and reach out an arm. Dream rests Milo onto the bed, and their son clambers over, curling into George's side.
"Hi baby." He brushes his nose to Milo's. "You here to cuddle?"
"Mama." Milo's nose is snotty, but Dream wipes it from behind with a rag, getting into bed too.
"Hi daddy." George strokes Milo's little hand. "Is that daddy, Milo? Naptime with mummy and daddy, that's so cool, isn't it?"
"Da..." Milo rolls over, and George mourns being able to see his precious little face. But he does get to watch the way Dream coos over him, so maybe there's an upside to everything.
Burying his face in Milo's hair, George shuts his eyes again, fingers still resting on his son's chubby arm.
He doesn't remember falling asleep, but when he blearily wakes up, George is treated to the sight of Milo clinging to Dream's hand like a koala in his sleep as Dream snores softly.
Thank god the bed is big enough to fit another tiny person too, very soon there will be four of them napping together.
The baby in his belly writhes once more.
George spends a good deal of his labour far more preoccupied with worrying about what Milo might be thinking and feeling as he and Dream wait in the hospital together, the thoughts and stresses interrupted by agonising contractions every so often.
"Do you think he-"
"Georgie." Dream's voice is soft but firm. He wipes at George's teary cheeks with his hand. "Milo is alright. I need you to focus on you right now babe. Another deep breath honey, you can do it. In and out."
It's a role reversal of earlier in the week. George feels like an idiot for being so dismissive of Dream's qualms.
"Babe. Breathe, c'mon."
"I'm so tired."
"I know you are, my love."
George grips his husband's shoulder as another intense pain rattles through him. It's all just too much.
"Can I push yet?"
"Not yet." One of the nurses say. It only faintly registers, most of George's focus consumed by either his labour, his son, or looking at his husband.
"Not yet baby." Dream repeats. That's good, because George wasn't going to listen, he only cares what Dream thinks he should do.
"Please."
"You can't babe, you're not dilated enough."
George groans in response, and follows it up with an animalistic scream a few minutes later. He clutches Dream, and his husband continues to press kisses to his skin and rub his back tenderly.
Milo and Sapnap are the first people George allows to visit them in the ward post-partum.
It feels a little odd, to be sitting in a hospital gown in front of them. Milo shouldn't see him so shaky and worn out, but also George has missed him so fucking much in the past 22 hours, and he needs to meet his younger brother.
Nate has just finished nursing by the time Sapnap enters their little hospital room carrying Milo on his shoulders. Dream is on his feet immediately, plucking their son up and wrapping him into a tight hug. George watches as he cradles his newborn baby.
"Milo, my boy. I have missed you so much. Was everything good with Uncle Nick?"
As Dream speaks to him, Sapnap approaches George's bedside.
"Hey dude. All good?"
"All good." George lowers his gaze to little Nate. "He's here."
"Another little dude! Hi Nate. It's good to meet you." Sapnap's wearing the suit again, and George would laugh if he wasn't worried about disturbing his baby or ripping his stitches.
Instead, he looks to Dream and Milo again.
Dream smiles at him, and perches on the edge of the bed, Milo in his lap.
"Hi baby. I missed you." George kisses his eldest son's forehead. "Do you wanna meet your brother?"
He readjusts Nate, making sure there aren't any blankets covering his face to give Milo a proper view.
"This is Nate." Dream whispers. "Your baby brother."
Milo wriggles out of Dream's lap and huddles to George's side, staring at the new baby.
It's probably some protective maternal instinct, but George tenses, a tad scared that maybe Milo will turn into a little monster and hurt Nate or something.
He doesn't.
Nate blinks up at him.
George's breath catches as Milo leans in and places his tiny hand over Nate's even smaller one.
"Baba." Milo mumbles.
"That's right." Dream runs his thumb along Milo's back. "He's a baby! He's our baby."
Nate opens his mouth, having a small yawn. Milo pokes his cheek, and Nate squirms in response, whimpering a bit.
"No, Milo." George shakes his head. "Be gentle. Look, daddy will show you."
Dream nods, and lifts Milo's hand, guiding it and demonstrating a soft caress of the cheek.
"Say 'hi Nate!'" George coos. "Hello baby Nate. This is your big brother Milo. And your Uncle Nick."
The room is quiet, Dream and Sapnap speaking quietly to each other as George continues to watch his sons interact.
George leans over, and brushes his nose to Milo's again. "Hey mister. Mummy loves you."
"Mama." Milo coos back at him.
And then Milo bends forward, and brushes his nose against Nate's.
It's enough to make George want to burst into tears. Not in front of Milo though. He could never do that. So he just supresses it into a sniffle, locking away the memory to sob over later.
He could spend forever, just watching his two babies, and based on the awe-filled expression on Dream's face, so could his husband.
