“Smash or pass; Gardevoir,” Satoshi whispered out of nowhere.
“Satoshi what the actual f*ck?” Goh whispered back. He turned over to face Satoshi who was sitting casually on the bed closest to the window. He had been sitting on the other bed, looking through his pokedex, before he had been interrupted. Although in Galar it was the middle of the night, the two had just arrived from Kanto and hadn’t had enough time to adjust. As you may have noticed from Satoshi’s… interesting question, they are incredibly bored.
“Answer the question, Goh,” Satoshi said, face completely serious although it was clear he was barely holding in a laugh.
“...smash,” Goh answered, giving in to boredom, “you…?”
“Ew, I would never!” Satoshi said, louder than he should have, as if he wasn’t the one who brought the question up. Neither of the trainers spoke for an awkward couple of seconds before Satoshi continued the horrid conversation with a bold, “Lopunny is much more attractive.”
