It's early that much Kelly knows he's not a morning person and no emount of early morning shifts he has will change that, he always been a night owl.
Kelly opens his eyes slowly to try and figure out why he's awake when the sunrise is barley peaking through the blinds, he shitfs carefully on the bed and freezes as the man next to him moves.
Kelly cant help but smile, with his whole face eyes crinkling as his cheeks rise, Matts blonde hair sticks up from under the blanket in odd angles some plastered to his face. Kelly locks this imagine in his mind in a place he calls 'cute stuff Matt does' but suddenly his reason for being rudely awoken is obvious.
Casey is on the otherside of the bed .... with the blanket. Kelly huffs and rolls over to his lover and half burrows in to the blanket while somehow managing to tangle him self with Matt without waking his boyfriend form his sleep. Kelly takes note that this is award winning in it's self because the captain is a light sleeper. Thankfully the only movement is his head rolling back to give Kelly the room to press his face in to the crook of Matts neck letting out a soft sigh, Kelly slips back to dream land.
Casey is a morning person he prides himself on it, granted he needs coffee to function before 8am but who doesn't?
He knows Kelly is the opposite and on the nights he stays over at the loft he tries to wake up and get to the kitchen without waking Kelly, but as he starts to spend more nights at the loft he's come to learn that Kelly.... is a cuddler and not just a little snuggle when you wake up kinda guy.
The kind that can't sleep unless every limb is touching you. Matt honestly finds it cute most mornings and will often just lay in bed for an extra hour or so awake and watch Kelly sleep.
Shay had found him like that more than he's willing to admit and called him a creeper, before letting him know that his coffee is in the pot. This morning is different Shay moved out a month ago and it's the first time they have stayed at the loft together alone.
The plan was to renovate Matt's place and sell it and use the money to find somewhere for the tow of them. That arrangement was hard to convince Kelly on and not for the reasons Matt thought it would be. He thought the squad man would fight for his self proclaimed 'bachelors pad' but no, turns out he just didn't want Matt to feel he had to give up his home.
Truth is that house isn't a home, it's bad memories locked in between drywall and brick. He wanted them to start again together and build a home worth coming back to.
Matt had been working long hours on the renovation between shifts at 51 and Kelly had all but dragged him to the loft last night only succeeding with a slight reminder that Shay no longer lived there and so being quite wasn't necessary with a cheeky wink added, Matt really couldn't say no.
It's 9:30am and Matt had to pee, with a smile and soft sigh he lightly runs his hands through Kelly's hair who has by now all but crawled on top of Matt unfortunately making Matts situation more urgent Matt slowly shakes his shoulders.
"Kelly.....Kelly come on wake up I gotta use the bathroom" He says directly down his lovers ear.
"mmmmm" comes the reply Kelly's face screwing up in irritation.
Rolling his eyes fondly Matt tries again this time somthing a little more coherent replies back.
"Maaatttt it's too early" lightly pushing Kelly to his side Matt stands up.
"Yeah try telling that to my bladder and besides it's 9:30 rise and shine sleep head we got stuff to do" He pokes at the sleepy man's ribs, Kelly sits up and scrubs his hands down his face
"Stuff what stuff? " he questions Matt returns and begins to look for clothes.
"We gotta pick up some primer for the walls and some new shingles for the roof before it rains" Casey reminds him.
Kelly still doesn't look happy so Matt changes tactics, moving to the end of the bed in full view.
"If you behave and actually help without the sarcasm, I'll show you how sturdy that new table I made you buy is" He bites his lip, hiding his smirk.
Kelly looks at Matt with a little more interest but mostly confusion but hey its early sue him.
"What?" He stupidly asks Matt laughs and his voice changes tones as he leans in to Kelly's ear.
"If your a good boy I'll bend you over that nice expensive sturdy table and fuck you just how you like" ending the bribe with a smirk before giving Kelly a filthy kiss.
Understanding falls on Kelly's face eyes dilating, he runs a hand through his hair watching Matt like a hawk.
Much to Kelly's displeasure Matt walks away to get dressed. Kelly groans now hard as nails very much aroused and face burning red he rips the covers off and grabs the first pair of jeans he can find and one of his old squad t- shirts chasing after Matt...on second thoughts mabey early mornings wouldn't be so bad while Matt was around.
