Chapter Text
Porsche has no idea how long he's been there but the whole time has been filled with pain, pain and more pain. His captors didn’t want information and they never asked any questions, not that Porsche would tell them anything anyway, the only thing they wanted from Porsche was his screams, whimpers and other sounds of pain.
He had been on his way to get Kinn a present for their 6 month anniversary when they had grabbed him, knocked him out with a rag over his mouth and Porsche had woken up hanging from a ceiling by his wrists.
And since then Porsche’s entire world had been pain.
The people who had him used anything and everything they could while also being careful not to kill him. Always stopping right before he lost consciousness and treating his worst injuries before they continued.
The longer everything went on the more desensitized to the pain Porsche became and that scared him but at the same time he planned to use it to his advantage. He would get out of here and back to Kinn, the love of his life, to Chay, his beloved baby brother, to Tankhun, who had become a great friend and older brother, to Pete, his best friend… yeah, he was getting out of here.
Suddenly there was a crack through the air and a distant sort of pain made itself known across his back. Oh, so they were whipping him now, Porsche honestly thought they would have done that at the start.
“Wakey, wakey, sleeping beauty,” Goon nr3 laughed from behind him as the whip cracked through the air again.
Goon nr3 along with Goon nr5 had made it clear from the start that they thought Porsche was beautiful and had made several lewd comments. Porsche was just lucky that these people seemed to be against rape, abhorred it if what happened to Goon nr5 after he got caught forcing himself on Porsche. Porsche still had bits Goon nr5’s brain in his hair after the leader had shot him in the head.
“You know,” Goon nr3 said thoughtfully as the whip cracked and pain flared once again. “It’s almost unfair how beautiful you are when you're in pain.”
“Ha, sucks to be you,” Porsche laughed mockingly. “You can look but never touch.”
“I wouldn’t laugh if I were you,” the pain suddenly flared brighter meaning that Goon nr3 had used more force and Porsche grunted. “You’ve been here for a week and no one has found you yet. I wonder, where is your precious Kinn now, huh?”
“You keep his name out of your filthy mouth!” Porsche growled darkly.
“What are you gonna do about it?” Goon nr3 laughed and the lashes started to come faster.
Porsche lost his sense of time after that, it could have been hours or just minutes when he heard shouting and gunshots and a bloody smirk made its way onto his face.
Kinn had found him.
When the door to the room he was in was wrenched open and Kinn stalked in with his lucky gun raised followed by several bodyguards, Arm, Pol and Chen included, Goon nr3 placed himself behind Porsche with a knife to his throat.
“Porsche!” Kinn’s eyes were filled with love, fear and horror as he locked eyes with Porsche.
“Kinn,” Porsche smiled, so happy to see his love.
“Let him go!” Kinn ordered darkly.
“And have you shoot me?” Goon nr3 laughed with a crazed tint to it. “I think not.”
“If you let him go I promise to let you walk out of here unharmed,” Kinn promised and Porsche had to bite back a chuckle.
Kinn would definitely keep his promise, Porsche knew that with a certainty, but the promise was all in the wording. Kinn had promised to let Goon nr3 walk out of there unharmed but he never said anything about outside.
“Hmm,” Goon nr3 showed he wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box by licking a long stripe up Porsche's neck. “I don’t know, I kind of like having my pretty in my arms.”
“Last chance,” Kinn ground out from behind clenched teeth.
Goon nr3 groped Porsche before giving his answer, “No.”
The blade slicing his throat open wasn’t as painful as Porsche thought it would be, he didn’t even feel it at first. Kinn’s scream made Porsche want to hug him and tell him that everything would be okay but as he opened his mouth to speak he choked on his own blood.
Then he was suddenly in Kinn’s arms as Kinn tried to put pressure on his throat, begging Porsche to stay, tears running down his beautiful face. Even though he knew it was futile Porsche still tried to talk, tried to tell him it was okay, through the blood choking him and welling out of his mouth.
“No, shh, don’t talk,” Kinn murmured as he stroked the side of Porsche's face. “Save your strength. You're gonna be okay.”
‘Liar’, Porsche wanted to say but couldn’t.
Porsche felt the tears run down the sides of his face as the black spots in his vision grew. He fought to hang on like Kinn told him to.
“Why would someone do this?” Pete sobbed and that’s when Porsche noticed his best friends kneeling beside him, Vegas hand on his shoulder in support.
“They wanted to make Kinn suffer,” Vegas said softly and Porsche was shocked to see that even he looked sad. “They blamed Kinn for the death of a family member.”
“But Khun Kinn had nothing to do with that!” Arm protested.
“They don’t seem to care,” Vegas growled.
“I want them dead,” Pete declared. “I want them to suffer.”
“As you wish,” Vegas agreed with a dark look.
“K-k-ki-,” Porsche tried to force the name out from behind all the blood.
“Don’t speak. You'll be fine,” Kinn repeated softly before chuckling wetly. “You're too stubborn not to be.”
‘Not this time’ Porsche wanted to tell him as he felt himself fading, the last thing he saw was Kinn’s beautiful eyes looking down at him with love and sadness…
***
Porsche sat up with a gasp, drawing precious air into his lungs, as he scrambled with his hands to his throat. He can still feel the blood choking him, drowning him, as he claws at his throat.
He was dead, wasn’t he?
He did die, right?
So how come he was sitting up and basically having a panic attack? Was it all a dream?
“Hia! You need to breathe, Hia!”
Porsche knew that voice. It was the voice that belonged to his beloved baby brother, the only person in his entire world more important to him than Kinn.
“Chay?” Porsche gasped out.
“Yes Hia,” Chay, who Porsche is finally able to focus on, nods with a worried look. “Now, please breathe. Copy me.”
Porsche started to match his breathing to Porchay’s. It took a while but Porsche managed to calm down and breathe in the end but then his mind started to race. Why was he in a bed he hadn't slept in since he and Kinn got together? And in a house he hadn't been in since he took over as head of the Minor Family?
“Did you have a nightmare?” Chay asked softly.
Porsche nodded slowly, “Yeah, a nightmare.”
“Wanna talk about it?” Chay offered kindly.
“Nah, it was just a nightmare,” Porsche tried to smile.
“Okay,” Chay nodded before smiling. “Then I’ll go make breakfast and you can take a shower.”
“I thought I was the parent in this household,” Porsche chuckled and started tickling his baby brother. “That means I take care of you, not the other way around.”
“Hia!” Chay giggled and tried to squirm away.
Porsche beamed, if he was dead this was surely heaven or paradise or whatever. The only thing missing was Kinn and then it would be perfect. Hopefully it would take Kinn a long time to get there… Though, if Chay was here maybe it was something created by his mind, like he created his perfect paradise when he died.
“Hia, I want to make you breakfast,” Chay squealed happily before he finally managed to get away from Porsche's tickling fingers.
“Okay, okay,” Porsche laughed and just looked at his brother, or the apparition of his brother.
“You, go shower,” Chay gestured with another giggle as he left.
“Aye, aye, Captain,” Porsche mock saluted as he stood up to go to the bathroom.
The shower was nice and relaxing, making it easy to push the torture, was it a week?, into the back of his mind. Getting dressed in some comfortable jeans and an old shirt, more of a crop-top, that Chay had made a few years ago, Porsche made his way to the kitchen were Chay was humming a happy tune, a Wiꓘ song if Porsche was right.
Oh, the moment Porsche had found out Wiꓘ was actually Kim Theerapanyakul and what said Theerapanyakul had done to his baby brother, i.e. broke his heart, Porsche had to be held back by Arm and Pol so he would beat the crap out the little brat.
Kim had apologized to Chay, groveled and pleaded for almost four months before Chay had decided to give him another chance. Porsche would have preferred that Chay didn’t forgive but as long as Chay was happy Porsche would stay out of it… but the moment Kim screwed up Porsche would be there and Kim would regret ever hearing the name Porchay Pichaya Kittisawat.
Or he would have if he was still alive so now he had to trust that Pete would take over, or maybe Pol. Not many people knew just from seeing and interacting with Pol but he had a dark and dangerous side he only let out when it came to protecting those he cared about. Tankhun was at the top of that list but Porsche knew they were good friends and thus Pol would protect Chay for Porsche.
Smiling brightly Porsche picked up his phone and everything seemed to freeze when he looked at the lit up screen. It wasn’t the late time that made it freeze, it wasn’t even the old background which he hadn't had since before meeting Kinn, no, it was the date staring back at him.
Saturday, 26 March.
But that wasn’t possible! That was two weeks before he met Kinn for the first time!
Porsche stumbled and fell ungracefully into a chair which made Chay turn around with worried eyes before hurrying over.
“Hia! Are you okay?!” Chay exclaimed as he tried to assess Porsche.
“Yeah,” Porsche mumbled, still in shock. “Just dizzy.”
“Maybe you should stay home from work today,” Chay offered hesitantly. “You look pale.”
Porsche was about to protest but stopped himself just in time. If this wasn’t some sort of coma or death dream, which it most probably was, and he was in the past, then he needed time to plan and to come to terms with that… Mostly plan though, Porsche was great at prioritizing...
“I think you might be right,” Porsche nodded slowly.
“Okay, now in know something is wrong,” Chay looked almost scared. “Should I call an ambulance or something?”
“What?” Porsche looked at him in confusion.
“Well, you're willing to stay home from work,” Chay shrugged, still looking a little scared. “That never happens.”
“It does too!” Porsche protested.
“Does not!” Chay argued back.
“Does too!” Porsche huffed and crossed his arms over his chest.
“Does n- wait, is that the shirt I made?” Chay broke off in the middle of the argument.
Porsche looked down before shrugged, “Yeah, why?”
“Why are you wearing that?” Chay sounded horrified. “It’s sooooo badly made!”
“Hey, my baby brother made this for me!” Porsche chuckled. “You can't criticize it.”
“I so can,” Chay disagreed. “I made it.”
Porsche smiled, “I actually kinda like it.”
“It’s a crop top!” Chay groaned.
“Yeah and I make it look good,” Porsche smirked and struck a pose.
Chay was quiet for a minute before nodding, “Sadly I can't actually disagree with that.”
“Thank you… Hey, what do you mean ‘sadly’?” Porsche narrowed his eyes at Chay.
The rest of the morning was spent in happiness and content. Porsche pushed all the planning and weirdness of possible time travel to the back of his mind, happy to spend time with his nong. The rest of the world could come later.
