Work Text:
Yeonha was an only child. Which was really helpful to her, because she would positively hate to fight a sibling for the family inheritance. It’s obvious that siblings were a mess and a burden.
That, however, didn’t stop her from wanting a sibling, or at least some damn company. It was always…incredibly lonely at her house, with rooms too big and people that worshipped the ground she walked on. Even though her parents were kind and tried their best to pay attention to her, she couldn’t help but feel like something was missing at times.
She really just wanted someone in her corner.
And oh boy, whichever god existed out there made sure to end her boredom fairly quick.
—————————————————————
At first, Yeonha disliked Kim Hajin. He was rude, sarcastic, and in overall an absolute son of a bitch.
He loved contradicting her, so she took pleasure in annoying him until no end. And even though she kept a calm and collected façade around other people, with Hajin it was…fairly easy for it to crumble.
It’s as if he knew her like the back of her hand. Kim Hajin liked sneaking treats and junk food into Yeonha’s bag, and even though she technically should’ve thrown those away…it’d just be wasting money.
It definitely wasn’t for her to keep them and eat them alone. Nope.
Over the course of a couple months after her kidnapping, she grew to not…mind his presence. Especially since Kim Hajin was the one to save her, and was starting to become his main investor. Despite being sarcastic, he had a good head on his shoulders, and no apparent double intentions (kuhm, romantic intentions) with her, so he was okay.
Though he is still annoying. And insisted that she took proper care of herself. And sneaked junk food in her bag. And gave her information and helped her with her class notes.
Weirdo.
But, Yeonha didn’t mind.
After all, she wasn’t so lonely anymore.
