During the summer season, ES decided to give 3 days off for all idols. It wasn't that much, but for them it was a good opportunity to go home to their family, or spend time going to any tourist attractions in town. Well, for Natsume himself, it was a perfect opportunity to practice his magic spell without getting interrupted by busy schedules and school that he had for being an idol.
But sadly, he could only dream about that.
"Nacchan~ Nacchan~"
The dream of finally practicing his magic alone had gone, as Kanata approached and hugged him from behind. The action almost made Natsume drop his chemical glass filled with magic potion, thanks to his quick reflex. The culprit snuggled to Natsume's neck, repeatedly whispering 'puka~ puka~' with a soft tone. His ocean nii-san probably missed the time of being in water, like floating in the fountain, Natsume thought. "Yes, Kanata nii-SAN?"
Kanata lifted his head, stared at Natsume happily. "You're only letting me call you 'Nacchan', correct? Is it because I'm 'special' to Nacchan?"
The question caught him off guard for a bit. It was true that he only let Kanata call him Nacchan, although he wasn't a fan of that nickname. Other idols did the same, but he didn’t approve in the same way as him to Kanata. Called him biased, but that was just him cherishing his nii-san. "Kanata nii-san is special for mE, so yeS."
The answer made Kanata yelp in happiness, then lean over to give a kiss on Natsume's cheek, making the magician blushed. "Nacchan is so 'sweet'. Nacchan is also 'special' for me, puka~"
Natsume didn't answer him back, still flustered after receiving a kiss from Kanata. Brushing his cheek, he pouted and looked at the culprit behind him, who still smiled innocently at him. 'Nii-san is so unFAIR!' He screamed to himself.
Being a tsundere as he was, Natsume pretended to continue his magic practice with Kanata still clinging on his back. He actually disliked when someone interrupted him in a situation like this, and he wouldn't hesitate to throw an encyclopedia away. But with the same reason as always, this was his nii-san, and they wouldn't do anything to pissed him off, except when they teased him.
But didn't the little magician even notice that Kanata asked the question with hidden intentions. The light blue-haired turned his head to three others who were in the same room as them for the whole time, watching him hug their adorable youngest from the beginning. Kanata let out a smile, but it was more like a mocking smile for them.
He might not have said anything, but three of them would have known the meaning behind that smile. If they had to put it in words, it might become "Hehe~ Nacchan 'loves' me more 'than' all of you."
And yes, three of them got baited by that.
"Hey, boy! I made a lot of outfits for you, shouldn't I be more special than Kanata?"
"Natsume-kun~ My beloved magician~ I could teach you magic tricks that you might love! I'll be your teacher, master, whatever you wish me to be! As I, your very own Hibiki Wataru, is special for Natsume-kun!"
"Sakasaki-kun, I thought we had something special together. You broke my heart, my little devil."
If Natsume didn't respect or adore his nii-sans, he would probably throw his magic potions to turn them all into a rock. He slammed his magic book and turned his attention to them with blush printed on his face and ears. "Stop annoying mE! And I'm not your little deVIL, Rei nii-SAN."
Wataru twirled his body to Rei, hugging him dramatically like he always did. "What a twist of fate! Your little boy doesn't admit himself as yours anymore~ Pure tragedy, our demon king soon would die by heartbreaking!"
Rei casually followed Wataru's dramatic act. "Dear me, Hibiki-kun~ Our boy really knows how to play with men's hearts! What a naughty, playing hard to get and then abandoning my poor soul who already loved him for the eternity."
Kanata pouted, his friends surely were unique, but also weird at the same time. Well, tragically that's how they gain a title as Five Oddballs. He noticed how Natsume tried to fight back, his face almost the same color as his hair now, probably because of all the embarrassment surrounding him. So Kanata gave him a head pat and brushed the younger hair, trying to comfort him. "It's 'okay', Nacchan~"
"Hmph! Both of you did nothing but to annoy the poor boy! As both of you probably forget that he doesn't like to admit things that are embarrassing for him." And that was correct. Natsume didn't like to say things like that, instead he would twist it into passive-aggressive words to hide his gratitude.
Wataru freed himself from Rei and now leaned to Shu's side. "But that's what makes him more adorable than he is now, Shu! The more he blushes, the better! Isn't that right, Rei?"
Rei nodded, he stood up from the couch he sat on and walked to the magician, who's still pouting in Kanata's hug. The vampire let out a small chuckle when Natsume turned his head away in anger after he kneeled in front of him. He looked mad, but in his nii-san eyes, he's nothing but a little angry kitten.
"That's right. Our youngest is the cutest in everything. He might not like to admit his feelings, but we all already knew what he feels." Rei brushed Natsume's hair gently, and it melted the youngest's anger. He was weak to his nii-sans, as he acknowledged how he will give up easily to their teasing, but more importantly to their kindness and affection.
The vampire smiled when he noticed Natsume fell into his touch, like a cat, snuggled to his hand. It didn't stop him to quickly lean down and catch the magician's lips with his. The younger gasped in surprise, but not fast enough to protest after Rei broke the kiss and backed away from him.
"Rei! I'm still hugging Nacchan 'here' and you kissed him. Wait for your 'turn' to embrace Nacchan." Natsume almost forgot that Kanata still hugged him from behind, and the ocean lover guy pouted on his shoulder once again.
"My apologies, Shinkai-kun. But how weak that I'm unable to resist the cuteness of Sakasaki-kun. And are you implying to wait longer, while we all here share this boy to one another?"
Kanata only hummed, then easily lifted Natsume's whole body to his lap, hugging him like he's a fish doll or something. Ah yes, it wasn't that shocking for Natsume since he knew how strong his puka nii-san was. Rei mumbled an apology to Kanata before leaning in to kiss his hair softly, making him sighed and nodded, accepting the vampire's apology.
"AMAZING!" Wataru, who was watching them, gave a big applause like he was watching a breathtaking show. "Such a heartwarming performance you all gave to us! Marvelous! Truly brought me into tears of joy and overwhelming cuteness. My dear Shu, how about you? Don't you feel the same way as me~?"
Shu sighed, honestly didn't really care with what his friends did. "They were just talking, Wataru. Well, except for Rei who kissed both Natsume and Kanata."
"And THAT is what I call a splendid performance, Shu! We should do a group hug~ I want to cherish all of you in my arms and never let go!" Wataru stood up and twirled around the room, before approaching them and threw his arms on Kanata and Rei's back, hugging both of them.
"Itsuki-kun, come here and join us." Rei called.
"Non! I'm not wasting my precious time for useless things like that."
"Shu nii-SAN, come and have a hug–" Natsume didn't even finish his words, and yet Shu already stood from the couch and walked to them. Three of his nii-san looked at the artist with faceplam expression, how Natsume can hypnotized their stubborn and arrogant friend into obedient in a flick.
Shu was hesitant, so in exchange Rei and Kanata pulled him for a hug instead. Since Natsume was on Kanata's lap, he got squeezed by all his nii-sans. But he didn't mind, his nii-sans were warm, and he felt protected with all of them around him. Natsume chuckled under his breath before murmuring, "All my nii-san are special to mE."
His nii-sans heard that, and their urge to jump into the youngest rose up. But didn't want to ruin their precious moment, his nii-sans just smiled at each other and hugged the magician. They knew even from beginning that the youngest loved and cherished all of them equally, tried his best to help them, support them, and to make them proud of him. Although, no matter what the magician did, four of them will always proud of him.
Natsume suddenly lifted his head up to face Wataru. "Wataru nii-SAN, about the magic tricK, will you still gonna teach mE?"
"Of course, my dear Natsume-kun!"
Natsume smiled happily and hugged his waist, making the long hair guy shocked. "Heh~ Thank yoU. Wataru nii-san is the besT." It was just a simple compliment, but the rest of his nii-sans reacted differently to it. If Natsume paid attention to his other nii-sans, he would see their death glares pointed at Wataru.
"Nacchan, let's 'puka puka' with me tomorrow~"
"I'll make a special outfit for you, boy. And I won't take any rejection!"
"Sakasaki-kun, have a sleep with me in the coffin, will you? I'll be alone for tonight~"
And so, the battle to get the youngest affection continued.
