I really do love my job. I travel all around the world going wherever I'm needed, to extract information from all kinds of villains. Like right now, I'm headed to Tokyo for another assignment.
The only thing downside about my job though is the freaking airport.
"Ugh, why is this taking so long?" I grumble to myself.
Every single time I go here, they always stop me and take forever checking my bags.
"Ma'am, please come with me."
Great, now what?
I follow the man to his little inspecting station and he opens my rick and morty backpack and shows me why it's being inspected. "What is this ma'am?"
I boredly reply, "It's cream."
"Ma'am, this isn't any store-bought cream, it's homemade, I can't let you take this on the plane," he says in a monotone voice.
"Fine, whatever. Throw it out, I need to catch my flight," I quickly say to him.
He listens to me and throws out the cream and I grab all my stuff and run to my gate.
"Shit!" I say to myself.
That was my last jar.
My friend, Niko, owns a skincare line, and she makes this cream specifically for me. It helps reduce the pain I get from using my quirk, it's not a big deal, but the vertigo I get from overusing my quirk is a killer. And the cream she makes me is the only thing that helps. I'm gonna have to ask her to send me some more soon.
"Last call for Flight 7893 to Tokyo, Japan."
"SHIT," I run to my gate and they're about to close the door, but I yell "Wait! I'm coming! Please!" The lady turns around and sees me, "You made it just in time." She checks me in and I thank her, then I board the plane.
Once I find my seat, I whisper, "Time for the drugs," to myself. I take two pills and I re-adjust my gloves since they got a little loose, and I try to get comfy so I can fall asleep. I close my eyes and contentedly sigh, finally able to relax.

I get off the plane, and I make my way to baggage claim, "Most uncomfortable flight ever."
I grab my bags, and I take out my phone since it's been buzzing non-stop ever since I turned it on.
2 missed calls from mumsy💜
I call her back, since she's supposed to pick me up, I hope she's already here. She picks up after 3 seconds, "Baby, are you here?"
I reply, "Ya, I just got my bags, are you already here?"
"Ya, I'm in the pickup lane, come out and you'll see me"
"K, I'll be right there, bye"
I hang up and walk out of the airport and I start looking for her car. When I find her, she jumps out to hug me and says, "You're finally home! I missed you so much, bebe! I almost died not seeing my baby for a year!" She then wipes a fake tear off her face while I simultaneously roll my eyes.
"Ay, stop being so dramatic!" We start laughing and then we put my stuff in the trunk. "Alright, do you want me to take you to your apartment?" she asks me.
"Yes please, I'm so tired," I answer her.
She starts driving and 25 minutes later, we're right in front of my apartment complex. She helps me get my stuff out and we head up. She stays with me for the rest of the day, and we both fall asleep on the couch with Haikyuu playing in the background.

I wake up and my neck hurts like a bitch. I rub it out and see that my mom is gone. "Mom?"
She yells out "Kitchen." I make my way over to her when she asks me, "How'd you sleep?"
"I slept alright, my neck is killing me though, I shouldn't have fallen asleep on the couch." She hums as she turns around and puts some eggs and bacon on a plate on the table, "Well, hopefully, this'll help," she tells me with a loving smile on her face.
I take off my gloves since I accidentally fell asleep with them on and I sit at the table. We eat breakfast together and I tell her all about my time in America. I had been in the U.S. for the past year, going to different cities and working with different hero agencies.
"No more taking long trips like that," she tells me, "You're my only child, I need my baby here with me." I give her a soft smile and I say "Mom, I'm already 24 years old, I'm not a baby anymore."
She gets up, grabs her plate, kisses my head, and says, "No matter how old you are, you'll always be my baby."
We spend the rest of the morning unpacking my stuff and cleaning my apartment. A few hours later, I get a call from an unknown number, I answer "Hello?"
A manly voice replies, "Hi, is this (y/n) Sato?"
"Yes, this is she, who is this?"
"Hi, I'm Eijiro Kirishima, I'm with the Ground Zero hero agency."
"We were just wondering if you made it safely to Tokyo?"
"Oh, hi! Nice to meet you, and yes, I arrived yesterday."
"Great, do you think you'll be able to come to the agency today?"
"We have a situation that needs fixing, and you're the only one that can help."
After he says that, I hear a muffled voice on his end of the line, it kind of sounds like a guy shouting something. I can't really hear what he says though.
And before I can say anything, Kirishima says, "I'm sorry can you excuse me for one moment?"
"Um, ya sure."
He gets off the phone and starts talking with the other guy, I hear a faint "Bro, I told you she's the only one that can help."
"And I told you she's useless, I can handle this myself!"
"Bro, I love you, but no, we're doing this my way."
What the - who the hell is that?
Kirishima returns to the phone and says, "Sorry about that, but do you think you can make it today?"
"Umm, sure, what time do you want me there?"
I'll show that asshole how useless I really am.
"As soon as possible, if that's not too much to ask."
"No problem at all, just send me the address and I'll start heading over there"
"Awesome! Thanks again Sato-kun."
"Of course, and please just call me (Y/n), I'm kinda used to the American version now," I laugh lightly.
"Sure, see you in a few (Y/n) and you can go ahead and call me Eijiro."
I hear the smile in his words and I reply, "Ok cool, I'll see you soon Eijiro-kun."
I hang up the phone and rub the drowsiness out of my eyes.
Time to get to work.
