“Alex! Alex! You are never gonna believe what I just saw!” Morgan said as he walked into the apartment. “So this guy put an honest to god challenge in the newspaper daring people to break into his place and steal his stuff and I mean if he wants to be separated from his money that bad I’ll gladly do it” “yeah that’s very interesting, um so are you gonna tell me who the fuck you are or the fuck you want or are you just gonna talk my ear off all night” Alex said to this stranger that just walked into his apartment
Very confused Morgan just said “excuse me” to witch Alex replied “ oh don’t act like I am the weird one in this situation, I was just relaxing in my apartment, you walk in like you own the place and start telling me about all the crimes you’re gonna commit” Morgan is getting worried at this point, “Alex Alex are you ok?” he replies “ I'm fine mysterious stranger who thinks we’re on a first name basis”
“Alex, do you not remember me?”
“Should I?”
“I'm Morgan, your best friend”
“Ah your insane, ummmmmm normally I just kill you but I’m feeling generous today so tell me what insane asylum did you escape from I'll take you back”
“I'm not insane, I'm your best friend”
“Okay tell me something only my best friend would know”
“When you were a baby your father made you a stuffed rat plushie, you named it gibble mcgee and you sleep with it every night”
Alex was shocked. He doesn't remember ever telling anyone that, and he doesn't think he would ever tell someone unless they were very important to them. Maybe not a best friend but definitely a partner. “ okay I don’t know how you know that, but I know that is definitely not best friend knowledge” said Alex
To which Morgan responded “it literally is because I literally am” knowing deep in his heart that he wished they would be more, after all he has been crushing on Alex for 5 yearn now.
Alex explained to Morgan “It really isn’t I would never tell anyone that, like the only way you would know is if were fucking” Morgan blushed and said in a panic “your dad told me”
“You know my dad” Alex questioned
“Yea a met you parents at Christmas, they are leaving me the farm and them they told me a bunch of embarrassing stories about you, so it is best friend knowledge” Morgan try to argue
