Arnold, Gerald, Phoebe, Helga and the rest of old gang were all grown up now, with minimum-wage jobs and lives of their own. They made sure to always stay in touch, though. They texted, they video chatted on FaceTime and Zoom, and they had a group chat through texts and Twitter DMs.
They just agreed with each other to meet up for coffee. Luckily, it was a weekend, so the group of friends were able to have coffee at their favorite coffeehouse. The bell rang as they walked in, and Arnold and Gerald immediately spotted Phoebe and Helga.
Helga waved enthusiastically, and then motioned for them to come over to her table. Arnold grabbed his coffee and walked over to where his friends were seated. He took a seat next to Helga and across from Gerald. Phoebe smiled widely at him. “We’re glad you could make it!” Phoebe exclaimed. Arnold grinned back.
“Yeah, sorry we couldn't come earlier! Traffic was getting in our way.” Arnold replied, sipping his drink. “So, what's everyone doing today?” he continued after a moment.
The group chatted about various things that they did during the week. Arnold was busy working with his child patients, and Gerald was working on getting signed on to the L.A. Lakers, while Phoebe and Helga were both busy with book publications and book signings. When Phoebe wasn't helping Helga with her books, Phoebe was busy as a chemist and a cytologist. Rhona, to the surprise of no one, was now a supermodel, actress, and influencer.
Curly, now going by either Thad or Tad, was now an animal rights activist, vegan, and a zoo veterinarian. Eugene came out to his friends as gay back in high school and was now happily married to his high school boyfriend. They worked together as Rhonda's makeup artists.
Sheena and Nadine, to everybody's surprise and acceptance, also started dating in high school. They happily wed shortly after graduation and has been together ever since.
Harold was now a very popular body-positive motivational speaker. He also did TED Talks, podcasts, webcasts, and did popular Let's Plays on his Twitch stream.
Lila was now, also like Curly, a vegan and animal rights activist and usually spoke out against PETA's hypocrisy. Lorenzo went on to be the next Steve Jobs, and was rivals to Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Lorenzo was currently working with Tom to bring back MySpace.
The rest of the gang unfortunately flew under the radar and it was very difficult to get in touch with them as a result. Despite this, the rest of the friends spoke fondly of them and reminisced on the good times with them while they continue to sip on their coffee.
