Y/N Evans has never wanted to own a werewolf since she thought it was odd and inhumane. But when she got a call that a small pack was caught and needed a place she couldn’t turn away. Y/N was told that these wolves were Unadoptable since they were grumpy, mean and unapproachable. Your friend Beth said that they would be euthanized if you didn’t take them which in good Conscience you couldn’t let that happen.
You walk into the shelter waiving at Brett that smirked at you knowing the trouble that was being taken off his hands. “Oh your here ! They just got done with being groomed ,”Beth almost jumped for joy as she yanked you down the hallway. The shelter was pretty empty since this shelter was highly regarded for there adoption rate . We stopped in front of three cages looking into the wolves inside with curiosity.
“Well boys this is your new owner that’s going to take you guys home you be good okay? , “Beth grabbed three leashes as you rolled your eyes when she told them about being owned. This is Curtis he can be moody at times . So that’s Ari he a little unapproachable and lastly Steve he just plan mean ! “, Beth glared at the last wolf.
“Wow no wonder they didn’t get adopted with those sale points Beth ! They must really be bad if Rhonda wouldn’t take them to her “Pet and Play””, Crossing you arms staring at your friend in disbelief while she stuck her tongue out at you. “ I didn’t use that as selling points ! An Steve tried to bite Rhonda when she got to touchy .Come on lets load them up so you can take them home”, Beth walked up too them attaching a leash on each one as they followed behind glaring at you .
“ Shit I would bite her too if she was feeling all up on me without consent “, You complained at your friend which was a reason why you felt bad for the werewolf. You watched Beth attach the leash to each wolf as they left there cage without a fight. Beth handed them over to you as you looked at them as they looked at you .
Releasing a sigh taking hold of the leashes walking out of the shelter to your suv . opening it up for them to jump in but looks like they were hesitant. “ Well come on we don’t have all day . hop in I have work that needs to be done ,” watching the sand wolf snort at you before getting in which Ari was his name . Curtis a black wolf followed then lastly a white wolf with a blonde streak down his back Steve you believed was his name.
The drive home was quite as you headed out of town to your family farm . along the ride forgetting you weren’t alone in the car as you almost started to the songs playing on the radio. When you pulled up to the house getting out only to run back to the car . you forgot them in the back of the car what a first impression.Apologizing for forgetting them in the car as leading them into the house .
“Look you have free rein in the house the three bedroom down the hall are yours . so you guys can decide which one wants what ,” as you unleashed them throwing them on the back of the couch. “The kitchen is over here with plenty of food . I’ll show you guys how to use the tv my only rule is to pick up after yourself, “ feeling very weird talking to wolves when they were probably talking shit about you . “Well go make yourself at home there are clothes in the bedrooms I told you about and dinner will be ready in a few hours ,” at this point you couldn’t stand the awkward anymore going straight outside to finish some chores.
The three wolves looked at each other watching the door you existed seeing you head to a barn. As they shifted into there human form walking around the house taking in every detail. “So if we are downstairs what is upstairs ? “, Curtis looked at his two other pack mates.” I assume her bedroom is upstairs ? I wondering what else is up there ? “, Steve said flatly since werewolves were used for work or sex or both . “I don’t think she is kinky but it’s the quiet ones you have to watch ,” Ari walked down the hallway choosing a bedroom for his own then sliding on some sweatpants.
Curtis and Steve follow suit in choosing there own rooms as them got dressed to exploring the rest of the house . Your scent was everywhere which each wolf secretly rubbed themselves on every piece of furniture. they all three stood at the bottom of stairs looking up . They needed to finish scenting the house so everyone would know this is there territory the collars on there neck won’t let them venture far since they would be shocked . They all three jumped when you came walking in going into a room not noticing them by the stairs .
Leaving the room then going back out just as quick as you came Curiosity got the best of them as they checked out the room. Medicine cabinets with locks on them lined the room along medical equipment on the tables . “So we have a doctor of some sort on our hands ? “, Ari questioned walking to look at the books in the room. “ She is a vet ?!”, Steve looked over at the man going through the books nodding his head .
Curtis just waited for the two men to go through your stuff as he would look over his shoulder making sure no one walked in on them. “She’s a very focus person since she didn’t even notice us in the room,” Curtis announced bring attention to one of your traits . “She seems forgetful since she left us in the car,”Steve named off something else they noticed. “Well she seems maybe a creature of habit and we are throwing her off that’s why we were left in car, “Ari corrected Steve while placing the book back.
“I guess we will find out our purpose here at dinner ? “,Curtis looked warily at his pack mates since there was reasons why they don’t want to be captured . Beth told them she found them a great home so they don’t need to worry. That worried all three of them since they didn’t get to meet you before going with you . They were relieved to see you since your smell wasn’t too harsh or you didn’t look threatening.
You came in through the front door to knock off the dirt on your boots taking them off before entering . Walking in to see the three men by your office which you slowly walked over sneaking up on them. Tapping one of the shoulder which caused him to jump almost tripping over himself .as the other two came out of your office like they were ready to attack someone . Covering your mouth filtering the laugh that was about to bust out of you at any moment as the other two relaxed seeing you .
“I’m sorry but I couldn’t help myself … Are you okay ? “,Giggling trying to gather yourself again.” Don’t do that ! You should know better then to sneak up on a werewolf! “,Curtis yelled as he stomped to you. “ Well like the say curiosity killed cat . I wonder what it can do to a werewolf ?”, you teased the men infront of you .The smile fell from your face as you raised a eyebrow at the while looking him over .
“So you must be Curtis ? I’m not sure if Moody is the correct work to describe you or not ,” stepping around him looking at the other two men deciding on which was which . “You must be Ari since you judging me and Your Steve with the mean look am I right ? “, none of the men said anything as they tried to figure you out .
“What cats got your tongue? Or are you just choosing not to speak ?”, Waiting them out as they looked at each other then back to you . “ Well go on wash your hands please since you can help make dinner ,” heading to the kitchen to start pulling thing out for dinner and getting a cutting board out then washing your hands. They watched you unsure but decided to follow directions waiting for the next step.
Dinner took a little longer since you had to show them how to do things. like cutting vegetables or using the stove along other things . When living off the wildlife it was only natural not to have cooking skills. Plus teaching them how to set the table up and work your ice maker. Once the food was done then watching the men move the food around there plate taking small bites deciding if they like it or not .
“Well I own about 20 acres so those collars will let you go 15 of those acres and I don’t mind you running around the property as long as you don’t mess with the livestock,” three pairs of eyes looked at you waiting for more instruction as they ate there food . “ As you get more familiar with the farm I will give you simple chores to do but that is all that is require ,” taking a sip of your wine as they took in what you said since it seemed too simple.
“So what kind of chores? “,Curtis glared at you since he didn’t trust how easy it sounded . “Well for example Feed the livestock , clean out stalls, and clean after yourself . maybe cook dinner once you get use it but that is all nothing that hard ,” meeting Curtis glare which made him growled since someone kicked him under the table. “So you that’s all you need is manual labor ? Nothing else ? “,Ari gave you a side eye which made your eye twitch at what he was implying .
“No , I don’t need you for sex if that is what your implying now if that changes in the future then it will be agreed upon by everyone. it is not something that is mandatory but if you have a itch I’m sure Rhonda would love to fulfill it “, you teased while looking at men around the table . Waiting for them to say something but they stay silent since they still wasn’t sure of you . Looking one last time before finishing your food and showing them how to load a dishwasher . “Well I’m sure you want too bath so let me show you how the shower works ,” you giggled when they jumped from the sound of the water shooting out of the shower head.
It was getting late telling the men good night as you left them in the living room after showing them how to use the tv. Leaving the trio to entertain themselves as they watched you go upstairs as they sit on the couch. “Well maybe Beth was right she got us a good gig here , “Steve looked at the space then looking at a cooking Channel Ari was watching . “ I’m not going to lie I was a little bummed about the no sex part. since that is the only plus out of the arrangement and she isn’t that bad looking “, Curtis looked at the stairs thinking about the conversation at dinner .
“That’s true but I like how she has given us the when everyone is ready not when she wants it . On second thought I couldn’t deny her if Y/N begged for it ,” Steve chuckled darkly picturing the scene in his head. Curtis and Ari both looked at Steve then back to the tv watching them make numerous dishes that they all wanted to try. In the middle of the night you walked down to find the wolves asleep on the couch with the tv on.
Shacking your head to find the remote to turn it off while heading to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water . Looking down at your long shirt that barley covered your butt luckily they were asleep since you didn’t want to give them the wrong idea. Little did you know Curtis woke up when the tv was shut off and took everything in him to stay put. Curtis wanted to know what was under that sleep shirt but just watched you go into the kitchen then upstairs without a second thought.
Smirking to himself as he got up to sleep in his bed while leaving his friends on the couch. Ari and Steve woke up in the night heading too there rooms unaware of there half naked master running around the house . The smell of cooking meat woke the men from there sleep as they almost ran out of their rooms to the kitchen.
“Oh good morning! I hope you slept well ? “,You flipped the last pancake then put them on the already set table . “Go ahead take a sit sooner you eat the sooner the day can start ,”looking at the small feast you made with pancakes, bacon and eggs . Heading Ari the syrup which he wasn’t sure what to do with it till taking it back lightly pouring it on his pancake . Which ending doing it for the other two since they looked at you with puppy dog looks.
Once the men were finished they cleaned there dish then loaded in the dish washer telling them to put jeans and a shirt on would be best. They returned with what you requested but no shoes which it hit you they didn’t have any shoes . “Well I guess we will need to go into town to get some shoes while your in human forum,”waving them to follow you outside as you headed to the barn opening the door .
“The horses get feed then let lose into the field so they can run around for a while . So that will give you time to clean out there stalls,” showing them where everything then need to complete the task at hand . Explaining to them some of the animals were abused and are there to heal till they get good home . Introducing them to the other farm animals like pigs , chickens and goats that happily greeted you at the gate . They were watching the other animals to make sure they didn’t try to hurt you but growled when a goat headed butted your thigh .
“It’s okay guys they won’t hurt me so just relax I promise, “giggling at the goat that was impatiently waiting for his food . Showing them they should be done by noon so that would give them plenty of time to do whatever they wanted to do . So sometimes other farmers bring there sick animals here to be treated . “ So which mean you guys will need to be on your best behavior and not scare off people “, looking at the three men as they stood behind you taking in everything around the farm .
“Plus with your scent on the property it should keep other predators away from the animals , “walking over to grab a shovel to start cleaning out the stalls as they watch your every movement .”The only reason you have those collars is because of the law other then that you wouldn’t have them , “you said as you placed a saddle on your horse since you noticed a certain pregnant cow was missing.
“Where are doing ? “,Steve step closer as you straddled the horse looking down to them . “I have to go find a cow that might have had a calf . Please stay up here I don’t need stress her out . so make yourself comfortable with the farm while I’m gone” , lightly kicking your horse to ride into the woods without looking back at them .
The three men stood confuse since either you were very trusting or didn’t care ? None of them have been around a human like you. All the humans they been around looked at them like sex toys or work mules but not you . The breeze brought a unwelcome scent into the air as they looked find the direction but they all growled .
A wolf scent was in the air ….. an they are close
