It felt like they had traveled for years. As fast as the ship was, their trip was long, and at least one of the duo was more impatient than was good for them. Moon pulled up the information about the planet again as they entered orbit, much to Sunny’s annoyance.

You blinked. Such a strangely ordinary name for...what were they?? He caught your expression and chuckled.
“It is too difficult to pronounce in your tongue,” he said softly. “Moon is the closest translation I was able to find.” He indicated his companion. “This is Sun.”

You surveyed him for a moment, coming to the conclusion that he was harmless.
“I do. I trust him with my life.” you said.
The orange one hummed with amusement, and you looked at him again. The glowing eyes had star-shaped pupils, and as you watched, they blinked sideways at you. You tried to stop your core from clenching at his languid smile.
“You boys are definitely not from around here.” you said finally, and they both laughed.
