Izuku’s body shook in horror as All Might stomped towards him. There was nothing left of the man that Izuku knew for the past year. The creature stopped right in front of him, the blue core on it’s chest gathering more and more energy until finally, it opened it’s mouth.
“GROOOOOO!!!” As it roared, Izuku dodged to the side, immediately calm. His fur covered body emitted green lighting as he activated One For All and charged, foward, loosing a bit more of himself along the way. He brought up his paw and made an aura sphere sparking with green lighting as he ran into the beast. As it was stunned from the attack, Izuku kept on running, thinking as he was doing so.
‘What am I fighting for? Come on, think! I’m fighting… for my friends! Come on, I can’t forget! I can’t lose myself to this infection or whatever it is!
I gotta be there… for… for… I can’t remember… I hope that seeing them helps me remember again. I refuse to forget who my friends truly… are… except I did forget. I’m a failure. But even so, I have to protect… why do I remember things only for them to slip away like sand?
I have to stop thinking about this. Just…’ Izuku stopped dead in his tracks as he saw what was in the living room. He started screaming and crying as he collapsed to his knees. In front of him was the one he promised to protect… only her transformation was completed. She wasn’t human anymore, and showed no recollection in her eyes as she looked at him.
“Cleffa?” Izuku fully broke. He just sat there for a while before he looked at the creature in front of him.
“Ri!” He and the small pink creature began to play without a care in the world.
