You Found Safety In a Trance

Summary:

You found out Moon had a hypnosis setting, growing so curious about what he could do with you under.

Notes:

Hello. Welcome to hypnosis hell, hope you enjoy your stay! This is a multi-chaptered fic, and this is session 0, basically, where negotiations and discussions will be happening. And then it'll get more and more nsfw as time goes on.

Chapter 1: Session 0

Chapter Text

It was a late night in the office, and you were visiting Moon to discuss updates to his and Sun’s software. Not unusual in the slightest, but there were some other things on your mind. The Daycare still seemed far too harshly lit for the time of night it was, but you ignored it, figuring that you could talk Sunny into allowing Moon more time out and about during the overnight hours. It would help with the software updates to find bugs in the code. This was one of the biggest reasons you demanded an extra endoskeleton for the Daycare Attendant, so that you could properly test the coding and the responses in their AI. Simply mushing their personality chips into a single endoskeleton had been causing the biggest issues, as it would turn out. Sun’s programming being quite nearly the opposite of Moon’s, the boundless energy wearing down joints that weren’t meant to be so used.

It was in one of the service manuals that the body Sun and Moon shared was actually only Moon’s at one point. Something happened to Sun’s body. It wasn’t mentioned in the files you had access to exactly what happened, but instead of ponying up the money for another body, one with the proper joint coatings, they just shoved them together. However, it was explicitly stated that Sun’s old endoskeleton was completely destroyed in the incident. It was also in these files that you found some interesting facts to note about each one, though there were redactions here and there. You weren’t sure if it was because you were a measly learning engineer, or because it wasn’t relevant to your current work, but they made you wonder.

Apparently there was a good reason for the mostly blank eyes on Moon’s end, smaller pupils than his vibrant counterpart. He could, if need be, put you into a hypnotic trance if he needed to. You weren’t sure why anyone would do that to a person, but surely there were reasons that Fazbears wanted to keep covered up. A scared human with memories that were locked away was certainly MUCH less likely to sue the company than someone who kept their awareness.

“Sun! Sunny!” You called out into the daycare, not particularly feeling the desire to go slide down into fun.

“Sunbeam, use the slide!” Sun’s jolly voice echoed up to you, and you grumbled. Of course you had to use the slide, you had completely forgotten about the double doors that closed the daycare off to the rest of the pizzaplex, facepalming at your forgetfulness.

“Fiiine,” you groaned, stepping over to the covered tube. “Slide into fun my ass,” you murmured, smiling to yourself as Sun began to chastise you for the language you were using. The crashing into the ball pit river was always the worst part in your eyes. The plastic was rough against your skin, it never seemed that the seams on those things were properly sanded down during manufacturing. No matter, as Sun was lifting you up from your ball pit hell, all grins and laughter.

“Well, someone doesn’t seem very happy to be on a slide!”

“Sun, I’ve had a long day. Including, but not limited to reading on your manuals and Moon’s, previous assessment reports and writing more updates, if not for your AI, at least for your endoskeleton. But since I have you here, we need to talk.” You smiled shyly, realizing just how far up in the air he had you, lifted as if you weighed little more than a piece of paper. “Please put me down, though, first.”

He grumbled, as if pouting as he placed you on terra firma, looming over you as he awaited your next words.

“I need to talk to Moon,” you muttered, a flush coloring your cheeks.

“I’m already here, though, Sunbeam! And talking to me means you’re also talking to him.” Sun tutted, waving your request off. Deep down he knew that it wasn’t because you didn’t like him or preferred Moon, it was simply a business matter. But why the blush and increased heart rate?

‘What did I do?’ Moon’s voice crackled in their shared headspace, and Sun knew if Moon could narrow his eyes into a glare, he would.

‘I’m not sure. Something about software updates and possibly our endoskeleton?’

‘Why is Starlight blushing then? It seems a little out of place to blush over software updates.’ Moon pointed out, suspicious of what you might want.

“Sunbeam, Moon is asking why you’re blushing. If you’re asking about software updates, it seems a little odd to blush.” Sun tilted his head slightly, eyes glaring at you. “What are you hiding?” There seemed a growl in _that_ voice, and you shivered slightly.

“Let me talk to Moon.” Your voice wavered only for a moment, beginning to bite into your lip. Your relationship with Moon was a little more complicated than with Sun. Sun never particularly questioned you when you worked on him, never needed to know the ‘why’s’ of the coding, though you explained it to him anyway. Moon questioned everything. He trusted you after a while, but occasionally there were moments where his intense stare caused your heart to beat wildly in your chest. Of course, neither of them were happy when you took them down to Parts and Service, but thankfully a promise of a hug was enough for a while with Sun, which grew to a kiss on the cheek and then more. Sun was insatiable at times, Moon far more reserved.

“Sunshine, tell me why you need to talk to him. And why are you so red that I can see the freckles on your face?” Sun’s voice was stern, his hands on his hips, so much like a disappointed teacher.

“Because I need to ask him about a certain program that is only coded into his A.I. and  not you!” You were exasperated at this point. “I can’t ask you questions about something only Moon can answer, Sun!”

“Ugh. Fine. But I want to talk about it as soon as you two are done!” The animatronic began the quick strides over to the lightswitch, you trailing behind taking three large steps to get anywhere near closer to him. Sun looked back at you, smiling at your movements. So tiny… so _fragile_. It only took a moment for him to hit the switch, his body slumping, eyes closing before the LEDs flickered out. Not a second later, Moon’s eyes lit up, looking over at you instantly.

“Hello, Starlight. To what do I owe the pleasure of a visit from our favorite engineer?” Moon’s voicebox seemed to almost hiss out the words, gravelly at times.
“I was looking at your manual today.”

“That doesn’t seem like a reason to bring me out tonight, dear star.” While Sun usually had better posture, Moon was taking a page out of his book, standing straight up and looking down at you as if this display of insolence was worthy of his time.

“I’m just curious… maybe far too curious for my own good as to why you have a hypnosis setting.” You stared up defiantly at the animatronic, waiting for his response.

For his part, he stiffened, stopping his initial response to pivot to answering your question. It was something he just had, he was programmed with it from the beginning. He didn’t know how to answer you.

“I don’t know, Starlight. It’s always been there.” He was no longer looming, turning away from you. “It’s been a while since I’ve used it, though, maybe 5 years or so? It’s to help people sleep.” From another time, another place. Where he accidentally caused the incident that made Sun lose his endoskeleton.

“Would… if I asked you to, would you use it on me?” Your curiosity had been piqued when you had read over that part. It was one of those small things that you had always been interested in, but never trusted anyone else to mess around in your head. Your only experience had been with a therapist to help with a traumatic event, but after you had ‘woken’ from being under, the warmth and refreshed feeling something you constantly craved. And yet you had yet to pull the trigger on finding someone to do it to you, pull you under and see what you pleasure would feel like underneath it all. It just seemed far too intimate a matter to bring up even to past lovers.

Moon’s eyes widened in surprise at your request. “I suppose I could, if you really wanted me to, though I hesitate to do so. We’ve had our fun, yes, but this is me tinkering with your mind, adjusting your personality. I wouldn’t, and I’m sure Sun wouldn’t, judging by him yelling no in our head, want to change your personality. A person in that suggestible state could forget very important things, some cherished, some awful.” He stepped back when you stepped closer to him.

“Well, we could discuss it. Limitations, negotiate! Like whenever the less vanilla aspects of our relationship come into play. I’m sure you would stop yourself. If not you, then Sun certainly would, judging by the scowl on your face.” You tilted your head just so, almost wanting to pout. “Besides, and I know this may come as a shock, I trust you.”

“Starlight, there’s a difference between me tying you up and me pulling you into a state where I could order you around and you doing it without question. What if I coded something into a word, a phrase to drop you without you noticing the difference? What if I told you I need you to cum for me when you’re at your desk, busy with work? Your body would do it, because I’ve put those triggers in you. And you would be powerless to stop it.” Not that Moon hadn’t thought about these things previously, especially on the days you were working with him, smiling and blushing as he sunk his teeth into your skin.

“Do you trust me?” You asked, sighing softly as you crossed your arms.

“Yes. Admittedly it’s rather reluctant, but I trust you.”

“Then can we please maybe discuss the possibility? I will absolutely drop it if it makes you uncomfortable, but consider it? I’ve been thinking about it a lot since I read about it. I trust you with my life. I know you would never do anything to cause harm, especially to me.” You settled down onto the ground of the play area, flopping back as soon as you could. “I’m asking because your software update includes updates to your hypnosis setting. I figure a good way to test the differences is a session before the update, and a session after. Not to mention, I’ve figured out some of the bugs in the code come from you and Sun sharing an endoskeleton. I need to see what I can do to get you separated again.”

“If you can get us separated… I suppose we could talk about limits and negotiate.”

‘You have to be kidding me, Moon! You know what happened the last time you put someone under!’ Sun’s temper was flaring.

‘I know. I know, but I trust our Starshine. And if we can be separated again, it could be worth the risk.’

‘Would it really? Because I don’t want to lose another person to a glitch. What if she isn’t able to fix the code, hmm? What then? Dropped and lost to the rabbit.’

‘Sun. I know. I know, I was there. And I’m sorry, but this might be worth the risk. Look at her, wouldn’t she look beautiful just slightly glazed over eyes asking for whatever we need, whatever we might want to give her? It’s not like I will be the only one knowing the drop phrase. What if we put one in for you, too?’

“Are you alright up there, Moon? You’re awfully quiet,” you yawned, contemplating sleeping over. It was nearing the witching hour, and the prospect of driving while this exhausted wasn’t ideal.

“I’m fine, Starlight. Sun and I are only having a discussion. Though it seems he disagrees with me on being open to negotiations.” There was a definite disappointment in his voice as he updated you.

“If Sun isn’t alright with it, it’s a no-go. You share a body, just because you consent to something, and I consent, he’s still there to watch if he’s in the mood. I don’t want to upset my Sunny.” You closed your eyes, realizing that it really was over before it began. This was the difficult part of your relationship. Discussions took a longer time due to the unique nature of the situation.

The lights flicked on for a moment, the harshness causing you to turn over and avoid the brightness. “We will discuss this in the morning, Sunbeam. It’s far too late to have a rational negotiation session when you’ve been up for well over 16 hours.”

“Okay, well. Turn the light off at least.”

“Your wish is my command.” As the room darkened once more you felt yourself being lifted once more, though you knew it would be to a pile of pillows Moon and Sun used for a bed. It would be too risky to drive home while this sort of exhaustion was sinking into your bones.

It didn’t take too long for you to fall asleep, Moon’s music box chiming next to you, “Big My Secret” playing to soothe you.

‘Sun… can we talk?’

‘I mean, yes, but you know it isn’t going anywhere until our Sunbeam wakes up in the morning.’ Sun was obviously irritated by the whole conversation from earlier.

‘What are your reservations about this? I obviously don’t want to make you uncomfortable, and I know what happened last time. But I can’t stop thinking about it. The way our Starlight would slowly drop, eyes glazed over, imagine what we could do! Starfall pleading for our touch, cumming on command.’ Moon retorted, a faint blush coloring his cheeks.

‘MOON. Stop.’ Sun sighed softly, getting flustered with the thought.

‘What’s wrong, Sun? Just imagine the way we could be in bed with them, eyes trained on us, begging for our touch, and then as they drop, they settle down, growing more and more needy for us. Us ordering our darling Starfall to touch where they need it most, following every command, getting lost in us. Pushed to the limit, pretty lips around our cock. Hell, us inside of them, fucking them slowly as they plead for release, but they can’t cum until the command is given. That lovely body tuned to m- our needs.’ Moon flashed images into the shared headspace, of you with eyes so focused on him, slightly glazed over as you touched yourself to his command, moaning softly as he continued instructing you, how fast you could rub your clit, or if you could dip a finger between your folds. Continuing to plead for release, chest heaving as the pleasure was too much, but also not enough to force you over without his command.

‘Okay, okay, Moon. We’ll talk about it once our Sunshine is awake.’

Moon nodded, looking down at you as you breathed slowly, fast asleep in his arms.
