Chapter 1
You just arrived in Inazuma. You got here by a ship with Beidou and Kazuha who gave you a map of the nation so you won't get lost. He also told you to be carefull becouse this land is far more dangerous then Monstadt or Liyue. You thanked him and get off the ship. The wind still in your hair was making it move like a character in a book. You waved at the ship as it started to go back to the land once ruled by the Geo Archon. You walked to the registration and sighned the papers. A guy named Thoma helped you. Traveler said you could trust him and whenever something bad happens go to him. After you got the papers needed to stay in Inazuma you needed to stay somewhere for the night. You did bring a tent but it's only if you have to go somewhere far away from civilisation so you didn't want to risk getting it stolen or ripped. Who knows if the people here are friendly. You looked around and it appeared there weren't any hotels. It's expected from a country that doesn't have many visitors becouse of its rules.
It was just a morning so you didn't have to worry so much for now. You went to the guild and got your commisions. You started right away. They all went pretty smoothly, considering they're very similar if not the same as in the previous two nations. You looked at the sky, the sun was right over your head meaning that half a day has passed. „Only one commision left” you thought to yourself as you started walking towords the location. You just needed to defeat an Fatui agent. You fought them before so it's gonna be smooth like a butter on the bread roll. You were just about 100 meters away from the commission and as you got closer you started hearing a voice that doesn't fit to the Fatui agent. Usualy they have an effect over their voice becouse of their masks. This one seemed rather smoother and controlling. You started sneeking on your toes to not get seen. You hid behind a rock and decided to have a look on what's happening. You saw a short man talking to two Agents who were kneeling before him. „he must be a position higher then them” you thought. The man had short purple hair with and undercut. His hat had two veils that moved very satisfing with every single move his head did. His top had short sleeves revealing his thin yet lightly muscular arms. His gloves covering his wrists, shorts, knees shown, and his boots had a tipical Inazuman look to it. He definetly looks like he was born here.
„These orders are from Tsaritsa herself so you better do your job properly.” the short man spoke. His voice was a little high. Unfortunetly you couldn't see his face as he was standing his back turned to you.
„Yes, sir.” the two Agents spoke at the same time then got up and started walking away. The purple haired man must have told them to go somewhere and they're were your targets. You must think of something quickly before you get them away from your sight. You didn't even have five minutes to think before you heared his voice again.
„Don't act as if your hiding spot is the best. I can feel your presentce.” He turned towords you. His face had delicite features, you could say he has a babyface, yet his eyes are emotionless, like if there's no life or purpse behind them. You reveled yourself to him, your weapon in hand, ready to fight if needed. The man just laughed at you, confiuesed you just stared at him.
„Do you really think you stand a chance against a harbringer? How pethetic.” He said still laughing. So he's a harbringer. Of course you have heard of them but to stand face to face with one? This made you sweat knowing they're more powerfull then they sound and look.
„No, I don't think that. Yet I won't be standing here harmless if you decide to attack me.” You said still scared. A harbringer. Right in front of you. You still coudn't prosses that. Traveler told you to stay away from them and not get too close. But looks like you did the exact opossite of what he has told you. The man scuffed.
„Talking back? You got some balls. I thought you'd be ruining away and screaming by now. I have no intressed in fighting you since I could do one punch and you would be dead. Also you didn't hear anything important. So leave.” The man commend you. Defeated just in one punch? He definetly doesin't look like he would be capible of such thing. But you didn't wanna find out if that's true. So you just went in the same direction the Agents did. You had so much luck he just let you leave like that. You didn't even look back to not risk him chnaging his mind and possibly killing you. You chased after the footprints and quickly found the Agents. Fighting two at a time was kinda hard for you but you did survive and killed them, since you only fought one with maybe a Cincin Mage. You went to the closest Statue od the Seven and healed yourself since you did get some cuts. You made the decision of staying a little bit under the statue to get your breathing to normal since you were still tired from the fight and that situation with a harbringer. You coudn't stop thinking about him and that you actully survived. Thanking a God that was defending you at that moment you got your breath to usual speed and started going back to the city.
It's a late evening at the time you arrived at the guild to collect your rewards. You sat at one of the benches thinking of what to do now. While you had your eyes closed someone has sat next to you. Opening your eyes you saw Thoma.
„Tired huh? How did your first day here went?” He asked softly. You told him everything that happened today exept the unexpected person. After talking about how both of your days went you decided to ask him.
„Thoma?” You said his name to get his attention back on to you.
„Yes?” he answered „is something bothering you?”
„Do you perhaps have heard anything about a harbringer that's walking around here?” You asked him not letting him now you actully met that man. You didn't wanna make him morried, it's your first day here so you should leave every trouble for tommorrow.
„A harbringer? I mean there is one that's from here but I didn't hear anything about one walking freely around the nation. And even if the rumors are true, if you ever see him do *not* get close to them. Not alone.” So he's good at not showing. Nothing weird that he felt your presentce and knew exacly where you were hidning from the spot.
„A harbringer from here?” You asked curiously.
„Yes, he's now called Scaramouche or a Balladeer. He wear a fancy hat. I'm sure you'll know when you see him. But let's hope there won't be such a chance becouse I doubt you'd survive.” He warned you. The man definetly seemed like if he wanted to, he would kill you with no problem. Maybe it was the so called Baladeer but you didn't dare to guess. „I have to get him off my mind” You thought. But you knew it wouldn't be easy since you were still in shock after meeting him. Hopefully tommorrow will be better.
„Oh, I almost forgot. There are no hotels here so you probably don't have where to sleep. If you want you can sleep in the Teahouse. I'm sure Kamisato Ayaka won't be mad when I bring you in” Thoma suggested. You gladly accepted with a smile. You didn't have to worry about being murdered in your sleep or getting the tent stolen. Thoma showed you the teahouse and the room you're able to stay in. You unpacked your things. You honestly had no idea why you were traveling all of the Teyvat. It feels like you're looking for someone or something but you can't exacly tell. Once you had everything unpacked you got into your pijama and went to bed. You quickly fell asleep tired from todays events. Your mind did went back to that harbringer tho. He really didn't plan leaving your mind.
