Summary:

"It all started with a masquerade ball.."

A Miraculous Royal AU where Marinette is the daughter of the king, Gabriel Agreste. After five years she has to meet her childhood enemy, Félix Graham again. Little does she know that their reuniting will change everything.

This is an alternative universe based on the show: Miraculous Ladybug and Chat Noir and inspired by the Miraculous PV version. (So it's a felinette au)

This AU takes place in the 1800s, where Marinette is the daughter of the king, Gabriel Agreste. And Félix (the duke of De Vanily) is the one holding the cat miraculous. Although they were raised together (as their parents were friends) Mari and Félix were childhood enemies.

That was until Félix, at the age of 19, left the city for his studies. The two haven't seen each other for five years. But now Félix is back and his presence makes Mari's world upside down.

Marinette Agreste/aka Ladybug

Marinette is 21 years old and as she is an adult now, she is ready to take the throne. Or at least she wants to be ready to take her father's place but in order to do this she has to be worthy for not only the title but her people too. So far the only way to help out the Parisians were the days when she fought against the akumas. But this is not the only battle she has to deal with. A certain someone's return will completely change her life, making it chaotic as ever.

Félix Graham/Aka Chat Noir

After returning and reaching the appropriate age to become the head of the Graham Family, Félix has to take his father's place as the duke of De Vanily property which comes with a lot of responsibility that makes him a cold, serious businessman knowing no mercy. But a reuniting with an old "friend of his" will make him find his true self again.

So as you already know, it's gonna be a felinette au (which means that Adrien won't be in this story!).

Although they were raised together (as their parents were close friends) Mari and Félix were childhood enemies.
