Rise Of The Serpentine

Summary:

The ninja find themselves in a whole new situation when enemies from the past return for retribution.

Re-write of the show!

(I do not own Ninjago, the storyline, or any of the characters.)
I hope you enjoy! :)

Notes:

Second part of the Ninjago Saga!

The first three chapters are a bit rough on the edges, since I wrote those right after I finished writing the Pilot Episodes, so the parts after that will probably seem a bit different. If not, then that's okay! I actually kinda like my old writing style! It's so free and fun in my opinion! Probably confusing, but great nonetheless!

Happy reading! :)

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

“Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using four elemental weapons.”

Four Golden Weapons levitated in the air. One shining, golden sword burst with flames, gleaming embers protruding from the sharp edge. The hilt was shaped like the head of a dragon, and a forked tongue was carved into the blade, snaking around it.

The second weapon was a massive scythe. A long snath met with the perfectly forged blade that was at least twenty inches long. Coils would around the staff, meeting the head of a golden dragon spitting out fire, which took the shape of a sharp blade.

Next were the Shurikens of Ice. Chinese dragon heads circled each other in a triangular pattern, smaller blades jutting out from their jaws. Tiny crystal-like jewels were fixed into the edges, and they sometimes gleamed in the darkest of nights.

Last, but not least, were the Nunchucks of Lightning. The handles were also shaped like dragon heads, and dark blue crystals were carved below the spikes and in the eyes. Instead of the weapon being connected with a chain or a rope, a string of Lightning held them together.

“But when he passed, a dark presence sought out to collect them all: Lord Garmadon.”

The Dark Lord rose, he rose from the depths of the Underworld, hissing menacingly as he prepared to grab a hold of Ninjago to destroy it, only to reshape it into his world.

“So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find four ninja to collect them first.”

A wise mentor wearing a straw hat clutched onto his staff. He held one hand behind his back as he leaned forward, his long white beard stretching down to his waist. He blocked his older brother’s shadow, finding new light with Ninjago’s new elemental protectors.
