Work Text:
It was an uneventful evening like any other day for Kujou Sara. She performs her daily duties with top diligence, as always. For today though, she had followed a strict schedule, she had made rounds and checked on the shogunate army, read reports from the Tenryou Commission, instructed the chefs on what to cook for her excellency, trained with the soldiers at the training grounds, and alas reporting to her excellency Raiden Shogun before finishing up right before sunset.
Sara had finished up earlier than usual this evening, questionable as to why. She proceeded to leave the main grounds after finishing lecturing some soldiers who were slacking off during guard duty. She was quick and made haste, walking slowly but with a fast pace towards her destination, though she did stop a few times to enjoy the beautiful scenery of her beloved region, Inazuma. The sakura trees, still in full bloom even after all this time, glowing in the light reflected from the sunset, the small breeze that blows, the serene sounds of birds chirping and bushes rustling, and then her. She didn't realize but she had already arrived at her secret destination, the Grand Narukami Shrine. And there she was the sly fox- Yae Miko the chief priestess, standing there at the entrance looking down on her. “To what do I owe such a private visit from the shogunate army general?~” She mockingly laughs looking Sara up and down. Sara on the other hand, was unchanged and expressionless, although underneath was mildly aggravated by the shrine maiden’s statement. She proceeds to ignore Yae and walks off to the main shrine to pay her respects. Yae silently followed after the general, Sara feeling the daggers on her back, wanting to question her as to why she was staring her down so intensely ever since she stepped into the shrine. Perhaps it was because she came right after visiting hours? Can't be, because as the shogunate general as well as Raiden Shogun’s assistant she had special privileges and this was one of them.
Yae fastened her pace, now positioned right behind Sara. The general felt the pressure and couldn't stand it anymore. She turned around, now facing Yae. The tall woman stood before her confidently with that devious smirk, oh how much it irks Sara.
“What is it that you need?” Sara questions trying to sound as unaffected by Yae as possible.
Silent. Yae just stares at Sara with her indigo eyes, bright, with a hint of mischief in them. She does nothing for a few moments; she walks off to the entrance of one of the shrine buildings gesturing at Sara to follow.
Sara was skeptical whether to follow her lead or not, although she had respected Yae for her position and power that doesn't mean she liked her, nor were they close enough to be in the same room alone together on an evening night. Yet she was curious and decided to follow the sly fox anyway.
They entered the room, it was a simple yet refined Japanese-style room, with a futon as such along with a small kotatsu and a fluffed blanket over it, in what Sara assumed to be Yae’s chambers, now feeling the tension slowly starting to build up inside her chest. The silence was long and uncomfortable, leaving Sara to contemplate her decisions. Yae spoke up which brought Sara back to reality.
“Would you accompany me on this fine evening for a drink?” She said gently, yet Sara could tell she was feigning innocence, there was, no, must be a hidden motive behind that tone, because there was no way in hell would she, the chief priestess of the Grand Narukami Shrine as well as a fox envoy that took joy in toying with people, would invite her to a drink and not have a motive behind it. Sara knew although they were not very close, she knew Yae Miko, a woman with a mature exterior in front of the public eye as well as her excellency’s favorite person, was not as she seems.
Sara is reluctant to respond, though not wanting to offend the woman, she manages to push out a few words,” If you insist.” she said coldly, but she had already realized, the moment she followed Yae, the moment she was taken by her flow, the moment she stepped through that door, she was trapped. Sara had fallen right into the fox’s hands, now realizing her mistake, she should’ve just walked off, yet she didn't, and now here she is acting as an unfortunate prey to entertain this woman.
Yae began to pour some sake for Sara and then herself, as the general sits stiffly at the kotatsu trying not to seem nervous, as a matter of fact, Sara wasn't nervous or intimidated she was worried that Yae would try something on her, which would lead to her getting aggravated. Sara was tired and more sore than usual today. She was supposed to relax after the long battle with the resistance the day before. There were many casualties, which was also the reason for her visit to the shrine today, it was to pay respects to the fallen soldiers. Yet here she was tensed up in a room alone with the one person she never wanted to be left alone with. Yae on the other hand now finished with pouring the sake now handing her the cup.
“Thank you.” She says taking the cup in hand. But if only it was that simple, the woman made her move. Yae had sneaked in touch when she handed Sara the cup, her fingers feeling at Sara’s interlocking, flushed and shocked Sara pulled away quickly spilling some of the sake on her clothes.
“My, my, how clumsy.” Yae grins, a grin that is almost distasteful to Sara, how can a woman be so infuriating she asked herself.
“..What are your intentions, Yae Miko?” Sara shoots a glare at her, in spite of that Yae’s smile grows bigger, amused she chuckles and stares at Sara once more with those dangerous eyes, looking at her all over.
“Whatever could you mean.” Yae sarcastically says, Sara had always taken a dislike in the way she talked, it was always provoking, her words were short yet they could be taken in so many ways, it was as if you had to decipher the right meaning behind anything she says, what a fox-like characteristic, quite fitting for this despicable woman.
Sara sighs, as she stares back at Yae, and makes her mind up,” It seems my clothes are spoiled, if I may excuse myself.” She attempts to get up but before she could even try Yae had pulled a string on her outfit, that one pull had loosened her whole getup, her chest cloth piece came completely undone, the tight shirt was sticking close to her skin due to the wetness of the spilled sake, without her chest cloth you can make the shape of her nipples, Sara, now on the ground left astonished at the bold actions of Yae.
“Oh my, my fingers slipped.” her grin still on her face now even darker and enraptured by desire. Yae, always so full of herself, doing whatever she pleases not giving a care in the world, how much it makes Sara want to rip that grin off her face, yet she cant, whenever faced against this woman she was always the losing party.
“Why you-” Sara now lost all her patience from the built-up anger by Yae’s multiple attempts to provoke her, reaches her hand out to grab the sly fox’s neck, her thoughts were fogged up, she knew what she was about to do was a terrible decision but all her frustrations couldn't be holed up anymore, all of her patience gone, although Sara knew she had a high tolerance for the Miko’s antics today just wasn't her day.
On the other hand, another small chuckle left Yae’s mouth, she saw the general’s hand reaching forward for her neck, almost looking forward to it, she interrupted Sara’s hand instead, grabbing hold of it and slamming it down to the hardwood floor.
Sara winces from the harsh impact, shocked at Yae’s raw strength, she swiftly attempts to overpower Yae and push her off, but to no avail, the fox was too quick, now holding Sara’s arms above her head pinning her down.
“Let go,” Sara says sternly, not very happy with this position. This was a mistake she thought, she should’ve never come here, she felt utterly useless under this woman, she is stronger or at least she thought so, but here she is stuck under Yae’s body weight rendered helplessly.
“Why should I?” Yae looks at Sara puzzled, how much this irritates her even more, the tension between the two was always there but Sara never expected this to happen. She continues to struggle to break free from Miko's hold but once more to no success. Yae now staring into Sara’s eyes, causing her to turn away.
“Because we are co-workers and this is not something co-workers should coerce in.” Still turned away Sara, now just saying whatever comes to mind, as long as it ensures her escape.
“Hah? What makes you think that will stop me from doing anything my dear general? Who do you take me for? I am certain you understand what I mean. For as long as I have my eyes on you, you won't be escaping my grasp, the mere thought of you fills me with desire, the way you deny me makes me want you, even more, you may deny my advances but you cannot ignore me, am I wrong? You came here today knowing well what might and will happen yet here you are.”
Sure Sara might have seen this coming from what went on last time during one of her visits, but she didn't see this coming-- could she have really sought for this to happen…? No, it can't be. Sara is certain it is hatred that she feels towards Yae nothing less nothing more... Yet why does she always allow Yae to get away with her little pranks? Sara is certainly not the type to let things pass but why is it that towards this one woman that she can do whatever she wishes and Sara would just overlook it and move on. Contended in thoughts, Sara didn't feel where Yae’s hands were going.
“What are you doing?” Sara questioned, snapped back into reality again.
“Feeling you up, what else?” Yae says casually.
“....” Rendered speechless, how can someone be so shameless… yet beautiful- wait what? Sara couldn't believe herself. There was no way Yae was right, she couldn't have such feelings for this woman, it should be hate...but did she really hate Yae? She starts to question herself, lost and confused at her own feelings, this was new, Sara never really understood feelings nor does she need them. All she ever needed was to follow orders and complete her duties with diligence yet why is she feeling like this now?
Yae sighs before cupping Sara’s face up forcing them to face each other,” My, are you really lost in thoughts during such passionate moments where you should be focusing on me? Sara dear, allow me to hand you a piece of advice, feelings are something that shouldn't be overthought this much, instead let them lead you, well at least during such moments as of now, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend using such absurd tactics during battles... you should indefinitely use your wits concerning warfare but I'm sure you know that very well fufu.”
“...you..” How can she be so casual about this...then again it is Yae, Sara almost chuckled at herself for asking such questions, it's Yae we are talking about, this woman has so much knowledge and coolness in whatever she does, whether it's her redeeming feature or a natural one it doesn't matter, anyone who she targets she will break down sooner or later and just so it seems Sara was her target and she went down faster than expected.
“You? I’m hurt you are referring to me in such manners, shouldn't you call me by my given name? To show how close we are?” Yae shows off a fulfilling grin as if she won a game, befitting for the prideful woman.
“Don’t be ridiculous. As co-workers, I will refer to all your prior titles and not your first name because that is for people you are close with.” Sara, refusing to lose this battle, will keep her dignity and not give in so easily to Yae’s antics.
The woman on top of her lets out another long sigh as if mocking Sara at her attempt to refuse her. Yae stops for a moment still staring at Sara but she seems to be plotting something, in which Sara was nervous to find out what.
Moments later Yae moves in closer, causing Sara to flinch back, Yae noticing her reaction lets out a small scoff and then goes in and bites her neck playfully, Sara shocked, hastily grabs Yae’s shoulders pushing her away face to ear beet red.
“Pffft...hahaha! You are so cute, you always enthrall me with how expressive your reactions are, I am surely never bored when I am with you, my little tengu.” Yae all giddy and enjoying every moment of this.
“...I.I hate you Guuji Yae.” Face still red and turned away Sara manages to say a few words. Forget everything Sara said before. She can't stand this woman, she’s been made a fool once more. This feeling is worse than losing a war...once again Yae has won and overtaken Sara’s dignity or what's left of it…
“Fufu, oh I'm sure you do after losing to me every time we meet, yes?” Yae’s tail wagged happily, appraising another victory adding to her score.
“I won't lose next time.” Sara now finished and done with everything she pushes Yae off once more, the woman letting her go, Sara gets up and grabs her chest piece, hastily puts it back on, and leaves.
“Pfft..oh and by the way, your ears were red the moment you entered my room to the very end general,” Yae says meekly, holding in laughter.
Sara walked to the door, stopped after hearing Yae’s statement, then proceeded to walk off still flustered.
“See you next time Sara~” Yae shouts, waving her goodbye with a big smile on her face.
Sara came to the shrine to pay respects and relax but ended up fleeing, leaving behind her pride once more. Our little tengu general once again lost, maybe next time she can turn the tables...or not.
