Chapter Text
It had been one full week since they had gotten Maligula under control and stopped Nic- Gristol Malik’s plan to destroy the Psychonauts and Sasha was still doing paperwork for it. Granted that wasn’t the only thing he had to do the paperwork for, there were also the events that took place at whispering rock and the rhombus of ruin that he had to write as well. Normally writing paperwork, though admittedly kind of boring, would go relatively fast for him. But he was also helping Razputin write his reports as well so he had a bit more work on his hands than normal. He didn’t mind helping out Razputin though and he had finished helping him for now anyway. All that was left was his Report on the Gristol Malik case. He was sitting in his office, typing out a lengthy and detailed report on his involvement in the case when he was interrupted by a familiar-sounding voice in his mind.
“ Hello Darling, how are you holding up? You’ve been cooped up in that office for days! ” The familiar voice of Milla Vodello filled his mind. She had been asking him this every day for the past week, but he didn’t really mind.
“ I’m doing fine Milla, I just got to the Gristol Malik case so I should be finishing up soon. ” He reassured her
“ Wonderful, because I had an idea for something that we could do this weekend !” She said though he couldn’t see her he could hear the smile on her face.
“ Oh really? And what would that be? ” He inquired
“ Well, I was thinking maybe we could bring Razputin on a beach trip! Doesn't that sound fun! ” She said cheerfully.
Not only did that not sound very fun to Sasha, given that it’s the middle of summer and his skin burns like a piece of flash paper in a toaster oven, but also the idea of bringing Razputin to the ocean did not sound good for multiple reasons.
“ I’m not so sure that’s- “ he was cut off
“ I promise you, it’s going to be fun! It’ll be a great opportunity to teach him some Hydrokinesis, start getting him over his fear of water, and also a pretty good bonding opportunity as well! ” She interrupted, sounding very excited about the whole idea.
“ Also, I’m not gonna force you to be out in the sun this time. To be honest I still feel bad about what happened last time. ” She sounded a bit somber at the last part but quickly moved on.
“ You can show him your sandcastle building techniques! I still can’t believe some of the stuff you built when we go to the beach, it’s amazing! ” She said
He pondered for a moment, showing Razputin his Sandcastle building skills would be fun and he knew Raz would probably enjoy that as well.
“ Well, alright then. But please, take your time with Razputin. He may not be ready for something like this yet. ” He reasoned, hoping Milla hadn’t got her hopes up too high.
“ Don’t worry darling, it’s going to be fine! I’ll pack your stuff so we can leave tomorrow morning! ” She reassured him
“ I’m off to talk to Razputin about the trip so I’ll talk to you later Darling! ” She said, feeling her presence leave his mind before he had any time to retaliate.
As she left he thought about the trip. Maybe it would be nice to spend some quality time with his new
son
apprentice. After all, though they had grown close over the short time they had known each other, they hadn’t actually known each other for very long. Maybe she was right, maybe it would be ok after all.

Raz walked back into the Motherlobe after teaching some of his family more psychic stuff. He had been teaching them some basic psychic knowledge over the past week, now that they were more open and accepting of being psychic. As he was walking by the front desk the receptionist spoke up.
“Agent Aquato? Agent Vodello wants to speak with you in her office.” She said. Raz smiled excitedly, The fact that people were calling him “Agent Aquato” still made him giddy every time he heard it.
“Thanks for letting me know, I’ll head over there now!” He said, running over to the levitator.
He made his way over to Milla’s office, wondering why she had called him there. Did she have a new mission for him? Or maybe it was just more paperwork he needed to do. He hoped it wasn’t the ladder. Even with Sasha’s help writing it, that report was harder than he thought it would be. Although I guess since they expect an adult level of writing comprehension on the reports, and he was ten, it did make sense in retrospect. Sometimes he forgets how young he actually is. He made his way into Milla’s office, seeing her meditating in the center of it.
“Hi, Agent Vodello. You wanted to see me?” He said calmly. She was snapped out of whatever trance she was in and gently floated back down to the ground.
“Razputin! It’s good to see you darling and indeed I did! How are you doing today?” She asked with a welcoming and friendly smile.
“I’d say I’m doing pretty good. So, why did you want to talk to me?” He asked, speeding through the first part. Rasputin was too curious for pleasantries today.
“Well, I was wondering, would you like to do some special secret training this weekend with me and Sasha?” She said with a sly smile.
“REALLY!? Special secret training!? With you and Sasha!? That sounds awesome! I would love to!” He said excitedly, realizing he may be being a bit too loud he was a bit embarrassed after he finished talking.
“Great, I’ll see you tomorrow at 10:30 Razputin. And make sure you get plenty of sleep tonight” She said
“Alright then! I’ll see you tomorrow, Agent Vodello!” He said as he began walking out of her office.
“You can just call me Milla Darling!” She said as he walked out.
As soon as the door closed behind him and he made sure no one else was around, he jumped up and down in excitement. Secret Training!?! With Agents Nien and Vodello!?! If he went back in time and told his past self that this was what he was going to be doing in the future, he wouldn’t believe himself. He hoped he would actually be able to sleep tonight, but this amount of excitement was going to make it a difficult task. It was only at this moment that he realized he didn’t actually know what the training was for, but maybe that’s why it was secret? Maybe the fact that it was a surprise was part of the training? He wasn’t sure and also he didn’t really care either. Getting to spend time with Milla and Sasha was reason enough on its own.
