Grey smiled as Mobius hugged onto Loki, they seemed very happy together. Mobius smiled back at him happily: “Grey? How are you?” he asked. Grey shrugged and waded into the water to say hello to Mobius properly, “good as any other day, not like we’ve finally got a way to get out of here or anything” he said sarcastically. Mobius nodded and laughed, looking back at Sylvie. “How did she work it out anyway?” he asked, wrapping an arm around both Grey and Loki’s waists; Grey smiled, “she interrogated another TVA person, they told her after a while apparently” they mumbled, hugging Mobius back.
“You Lokis are softies” Mobius mumbled as he kissed Loki’s shoulder gently. Loki nodded and Grey grinned, “yup”. They continued, “we all crave attention, and in a place like this … there’s always someone to give it” Mobius smiled, “I’m glad this place is okay, I feared the worst…” Loki pulled Mobius closer and Grey got dragged closer as a consequence. “I’m happy, I wouldn’t mind living here for eternity – but now I know I don’t have to, that’s easy to say” they said with a smile. Mobius nodded and kissed them happily, “I wouldn’t mind some more privacy” he mumbled and Grey blushed and moved to get out of his grasp. Mobius struggled and laughed, “nope. You’re mine now” he laughed and hugged both Lokis close, “I’m keeping you” he said, kissing both of them on the cheek.
Grey and Loki smiled at each other and shrugged, “fine by me” Loki said, followed by Grey’s echo of approval. Mobius grinned and Sylvie turned to them, having been talking to Siggy and Old Loki for ages. “Where am I taking you two? Three?” she asked, Mobius shrugged, “I don’t know”. Loki looked to Grey who had a blank face before Loki smiled, “Asgard, Norway, Midgard, 2024”. Sylvie nodded and shooed them closer to Old Loki and Siggy who smiled happily at the group.
“Thank you,” they said again and once again Loki and Mobius shrugged it off but smiled happily, glad to have helped them. One by one, Lokis appeared from the house and made their way to the lake, Grey’s partner Andrew waded over to them, and Grey introduced them to Mobius. Loki smiled and hugged Andrew close, “thanks for my towels” they chuckled, and Andrew shrugged – “god don’t worry about that, what’s goin’ on?” they asked, hugging Grey close. They noticed Grey’s body had changed again and Grey nudged Loki, “can you give Andi some of your magic?” they asked. Andrew gasped and began turning down Grey’s request, but Loki only laughed and nodded, grabbing Andrew’s hand and Andrew’s body suddenly shifted to be way more masculine.
Andrew yelped and suddenly grabbed their own crotch before sighing happily. Grey laughed, “yeah I did that first too” they grinned. Andrew blushed and Mobius squeezed Loki and Grey’s sides happily. “Good thing they can shapeshift huh?” he said, Grey shrugged: “we’ve been coping for eons, it’s just cool” they said. Andrew nodded and Grey kissed their lips while they waited. Grey suddenly remembered that their partner still didn’t know what was going on so they explained quickly and then Loki checked to see if they were all going to go to the same place, “if you don’t mind?” Andrew checked and Loki looked dramatically offended.
Sylvie clapped her hands together a few times and suddenly the conversations stopped, “so!” she shouted. “I will open hundreds of time doors and you’re all going to walk through. You can then go and live your lives happily and freely, I took care of the TVA so don’t worry about them coming and grabbing you” she smiled, “everyone ready?”. They all chorused “yes” and she grinned, “have fun and live chaotically my Lokis”. She pressed some buttons on the TemPad before throwing it into the lake, doors opening up beside them all, and one formed in front of the group.
“Let’s go then” Grey said, pulling Loki, Mobius, and Andrew with them. They stepped through, and a cold air whipped past the groups’s bodies immediately, “ah fuck it’s cold” they muttered, hugging Andrew into their side quickly. Andrew shivered beside them, and Loki magicked thick coats around them, “I’ll be back in a sec” they said before darting back in. They reappeared, much to Grey’s relief and the door closed behind them; “what did you do?” asked Mobius, hugging the coat around him. “I went to make sure Sylvie was gone; she was” they said a smile on their face. Mobius nodded and smiled, “good” he shuddered and noticed Loki wasn’t wearing a coat: “you’ll freeze!” he gasped. Grey watched as Loki shook his head, “frost giant? Remember?” they said. Mobius nodded and looked around, they were on a road in the middle of nowhere.
“Where are we?” Grey asked, and Loki shrugged before pushing themself off the floor and flying for a moment, “New Asgard, it’s around the corner” they said as they landed with ease. “Let’s go!” they said happily as they grabbed Mobius’ cold hand and began marching ahead of Grey and Andrew who followed like loyal sheep. “Let’s hope they have a warmer welcome than the weather” Andrew grumbled – Grey only kissing their cold cheek and smiling happily, “I’m sure we’ll be just fine” they said, full of confidence.
