Stay With Me Tonight, and Every Night After That

Summary:

Yuuri is just another 24 year old dime-a-dozen wedding planner stuck in a rut at his family's world famous multimillion dollar company, Katsuki’s Weddings and Events Planning, Inc. After a series of events, he ends up meeting and spending the night with Viktor Nikiforov. The next morning Yuuri gets a phone call he had been dreading all of his life. But, with a chance at something new, he won't give up this new happiness without a fight.

Notes:

Hello! Welcome to my first multiple-chaptered, first ABO, first explicit fic. I probably bit off more than I can chew with this one lool, but I've been having fun creating this story so that is all that matters. Viktuuri babies/mpreg fics are my favorite fics and absolute guilty pleasures, and I probably have like 15 other fic ideas that fall into this category. But, this story had the most things fleshed out for it, so it is first on my writing list.

Summaries and titles are hard, ughhh. I'm still not very happy with the title, so I may change it later, if I think of something better. But, for now the title will stay. I have the story mostly planned out, and the whole fic will probably be around 18-ish chapters. I have the first two chapters written and I am working on the third and fourth right now.

Thank you to anyone who read this, and I hope you enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: The Morning After

Chapter Text

Early morning sunlight streamed in through the hotel window, where someone didn’t fully close the curtains from the night before. The sunlight shines directly over the Asian man’s face, which made him scrunch his closed eyes in displeasure. He tried to bury his head further into the pillows.

“No. Too early.” Yuuri softly grunted under his breath as he slowly rolled his body away from the truly offending light source. Yuuri silently cursed the sun under his breath. As he turned to the middle of the bed, he smacked into something hard.

Yuuri froze. With his eyes still closed, his hand slowly reached up. He briefly felt muscles. Human muscles.

Yuuri’s eyes shot open as he immediately sprung up in the bed, and grabbed most of the covers to shield himself from the unknown person. He looked down to see a silver headed man lying next to him on his stomach softly snoring away. A stunning, drop dead gorgeous, silver haired man. With ripped muscles for days, from what Yuuri could tell of just seeing his back and arms. He had red marks and scratches all down his back. Did I do that? Yuuri’s heartbeat was intensifying as he stared longer at the man. His lower half was covered by blankets, but still clearly a sign that he was naked underneath.

Yuuri hadn’t realized he was holding his breath, until he started seeing spots flash around his vision while staring at the other man in bed.

He took slow calming breaths and looked about the room to see their clothes and things were all over the floor. He should have realized sooner that he was in Viktor’s room and not his own. For one, this bed was a lot larger than the bed in his hotel room. Viktor’s suite was much nicer and grander than Yuuri’s more standard hotel room. It had a seating area, and a small kitchenette in addition to the grand king sized bed they were currently in.

That’s right his name was Viktor and I met him at the wedding yesterday, Yuuri thought. A soft shy smile came to his face as the previous day came back to him slowly when his brain started to wake up more. His phone call with Mari, potential trouble with a new deal for their family’s business, filling in for her at the Leroy wedding… and then meeting Viktor, dancing with him, and then finally going to Viktor’s room.

It was Yuuri’s decision to go up to Viktor’s room last night, and he doesn’t regret that choice. Being with Viktor last night was one of the best nights that Yuuri can remember ever having. And that didn’t include the sex, which was amazing too. He knew his face was beet red from remembering everything they did yesterday.

Phichit would never believe this when he tells him. Hmmm, if he tells him. Yuuri wasn’t sure he could live all of this down while telling Phichit. He was pretty sure he would combust on the spot from embarrassment.

Maybe immediately jumping into bed with Viktor wasn’t the best choice on Yuuri’s list of top 10 best choices he has ever made. Viktor didn’t have to know that yesterday was his first time. Chances are Yuuri won’t be allowed to see Viktor again, even if part of him really wanted to.

Viktor seemed almost unreal with how amazing he was, and Yuuri could really see himself falling for him. A part of him already had last night. He kept staring at Viktor’s slowly rising back and getting lost in his daydreams of what could be...

Suddenly, Yuuri heard his cell phone alarm go off. He quietly cursed under his breath, and failed trying to jump off the bed with his foot getting tangled in the sheets. Yuuri flopped ungracefully off of the bed and onto the floor, and frantically looked for where he might have thrown his phone the night before.

He only just now realized that he was also completely naked. Yuuri was too panicked about his phone to be embarrassed that he just spent a whole night naked in someone else’s bed. The phone was buzzing under his dress and he quickly scrambled to turn it off. Yuuri holds his breath again as he looks to the bed to make sure he didn’t wake Viktor.

After a few moments, Yuuri heard Viktor’s soft breaths continuing as if nothing happened. Yuuri breathed out a sigh of relief and looked back at his phone. Strange , he didn’t remember setting an alarm so early on a Saturday morning. Plus today he was supposed to be off with the long holiday weekend. Mari promised he was just filling in for yesterday.

Yuuri looked through his notifications and emails, and realized his phone went off for a meeting reminder. He had a meeting with a client in an hour! Panic started to well up inside him. Yuuri didn’t remember scheduling a meeting for today, and this client wasn’t even one of his!

Yuuri looked at who scheduled the meeting. Someone from Mari’s team had scheduled Yuuri to take over all of her meetings for today, since she had left the country yesterday for an unexpected business meeting in Munich. Hence, why Yuuri was even at the Leroy wedding yesterday in the first place, filling in for Mari.

Typical, they always do this when Mari gets called away by their Grandfather for abroad meetings, Yuuri thought irritably. All of Yuuri’s daydreams of staying in bed with Viktor and maybe getting coffee together were all vanishing before his eyes. Work always has to come first for their family, and Yuuri really hated it at times. He barely had a life outside of work as it is.

It would be too late to cancel or reschedule these new appointments for today. He would have to just suck it up and go to them. Luckily, Yuuri brought an overnight bag that should still be in his hotel room from yesterday. He can change and head to the first meeting, hopefully they have coffee. Yuuri could power through the morning meetings if he had access to caffeine of any kind.

As Yuuri got dressed, he heard the bed sheets start to rustle. “Yuuri? What time is it?” Viktor mumbled, he had a thick accent, much thicker than yesterday. Yuuri startled and looked up at his bedmate after he got his plain black dress back on. It was one of the “fashionably allowed” outfits for omega wedding planners at their company.

“It’s really early. I’m sorry I woke you, Viktor. I was scheduled for some last minute meetings today to cover for my sister. I need to leave now before I’m late.”

“Wha-? But, it's Saturday? You have to work on Saturdays?” Viktor mumbled, still trying to clear the brain fog and wake up fully.

Yuuri huffed under his breath humorlessly, “Ha, sometimes. Our family’s company is big and requires a lot from us. I’m sorry to leave so soon though.” Yuuri finished gathering his things and looked back at the gorgeous alpha in bed. A part of Yuuri just wanted to say ‘fuck it,’ and stay with him to see what happened. Make all of those daydreams come true.

“I had fun last night and I - I hope to see you again soon.” Yuuri spoke quietly and gave Viktor a small smile.

“Me too, let me just -” Viktor started to speak, when Yuuri’s phone went off again. He quickly answered it, seeing as it was his sister.

“Sorry, I really need to go now. Bye Viktor.” Yuuri rushed out of the room before Viktor could even respond or get out of the bed. Before he knew it, Yuuri was already going down the elevator to his floor to grab his things, while still talking to Mari.

“Hey Mari, sorry, I got caught up this morning trying to leave the hotel. I didn’t realize that your team scheduled me to meet your clients for today, but I should still be on time for them.” Yuuri rushed out quickly, hoping Mari wouldn’t be mad at his tardiness. She wasn’t usually like that but she could be irritable after business meetings with their grandfather.

Mari sighed, “Damnit. Sorry Yuuri, I told them not to do that anymore after my last trip abroad. I’ll make sure to rearrange your schedule for this week, so you can get your scheduled time off. And I promise no more covering for me after today.”

“It’s ok Mari, really. I didn’t have much planned anyways.” Which was true, all Yuuri did in the last few years was work. Yuuri reached his room and gathered his bag and quickly changed out of yesterday’s clothes. He switched his phone to speaker mode to hear Mari better.

“Still, rest and time off is important, Yuuri. No matter what our crazy family says, ‘we have to work, and work, and then work some more.’” Yuuri and Mari both laughed lightly at the jab of their family’s work ethic. Your family doesn’t build a multimillion dollar international wedding planning empire by slacking off, Yuuri mused.

Yuuri’s alpha grandfather had started a wedding planning business in Japan many years ago, and over the decades it has grown into one of the largest wedding businesses in the world. Katsuki’s Weddings and Events Planning, Inc., but most people just refer to it as Katsuki’s Weddings. They were most known for their weddings, and the more general events planning section was a fairly small portion of their business and profit. They had offices all throughout Asia, North and South America, and Australia.

Their main American headquarters was established in Detroit, and Yuuri’s immediate family had relocated there when he was a toddler. His father, Toshiya, took over the American branch operations, while the company’s central headquarters was still in Hasetsu, Japan where his grandfather resided and worked from. Even though Yuuri was born in Japan, he barely remembered that time. He has only visited Japan occasionally over the years either for business trips, or for the very rare family trip his parents would take him and Mari on when time allowed.

For the last few years, they had been trying to expand their offices and establish better ties in Europe. Yuuri’s grandfather was still head of the company, and the most stubborn man Yuuri has ever known. He made all of the final decisions and chose pretty much of the directions and deals the company made. He wouldn’t give up on this battle for business in Europe, even if it kills him.

Yuuri’s father had been trying to get their grandfather to slow down and think about retiring, over the last few years. Toshiya was the eldest of his grandfather’s children and one of the few people he rarely listened to. Their grandfather was way past the average retirement age, and his health was slowly declining each year that he got older.

However, grandfather seemed adamant that he will work until the day he died, and only then, will the family be able to pry the company from his cold dead fingers. Toshiya tried to get his father to take a break from the Europe deals when they fell through again last year, but that only backfired and enraged his grandfather.

In his spite and malice, he showed up the next day with a revised will of succession for the company, and named Mari as his successor. Toshiya, who was being groomed to take over for years, could no longer take over the company.

Yuuri knew his father was heart broken by this decision, even if it wasn’t a shock to him, Yuuri, Mari or their mother. In Yuuri’s mind that made it all the worse for his father. That he expected the rug to be pulled out from under him one day.

It was quite a shock to the other extended members of the family. Yuuri knew that Mari had always been his grandfather’s favorite. Even if Mari always hated that kind of attention, especially from their grandfather.

She was the only alpha grandchild he had and Yuuri was the only omega one. Everyone else in their family was all betas, including Yuuri’s parents. Yuuri knew that his grandfather was always disappointed that all of his children were betas, and Yuuri knew that his father knew this too.

That is probably why Toshiya wasn’t too surprised when the decision about Mari was announced. He probably expected it to happen someday when Mari was older and had more experience within the company.

Mari didn’t have much choice in the decision, and was encouraged to accept the new status of being heir to the company. Mari knew if she refused, their grandfather would take away everything else from their parents. Toshiya claimed that he was proud to produce two beautiful children that could provide new life into their business. He said it all with a hollow smile on his face.

Yuuri didn’t think he could react the same way if he were in his father’s shoes. Everyone in their family including aunts, uncles, cousins; pour their blood, sweat, and tears into this company. They even agree to the archaic idea of arranged marriages at the age of 25, arranged by their grandfather. Almost everyone in Yuuri’s family has been a part of an arranged marriage. Most of them were designed as business deals to grow and merge their company into what it is today.

Even Yuuri’s parents had an arranged marriage.

Hiroko, Yuuri’s mother, had a series of inns and hot springs in the southern part of Japan that her family owned. Their marriage secured business deals with the wedding business and her family’s inns.

Luckily, they fell in love after they were married and lead a good life together, but that wasn’t the case for most of Yuuri’s other family members. Mari was the only exception. Since she was the favorite in their grandfather’s eyes and the “only alpha,” he stated she could marry whoever she chose, whenever she wanted. At the age of 30, she was one of the oldest Katsuki’s to never have been married.

Yuuri thought about how he was 24 and going to be 25 soon. He was just waiting for his grandfather to drop the bomb on him that his time was up and his match had been set. Mari told him she would try to help or stall as much as she could when that time came. But, he knew there was only so much she could do against a force like their grandfather.

If he truly wanted Yuuri to marry someone specific, it would be done.

The only loophole Yuuri had was his parents telling him if he met someone before 25 and wanted to marry them, they would support that.

But, even after several years of first dates and blind dates, Yuuri never met anyone he connected well with. Most of those first dates never turned into second dates. The few people he tried to kiss just made Yuuri feel disgusted and he didn’t want to explore more with them. There was no spark, nothing. No one seemed interested in him, until now maybe...

If Yuuri found someone miraculously, he knew his grandfather would give him and his parents hell. He would probably destroy everything his parents worked hard for, even if it hurt his grandfather’s company in the end. He didn’t care and only wanted control over Yuuri and his parents. Yuuri couldn’t do that to them, after all of their years of hard work and sacrifices for him and Mari.

His grandfather especially hated him for his omega status, as if your secondary gender determines how good you are at life. It was bullshit. Especially since Yuuri’s grandmother was an omega and supposedly his grandfather loved her. Yuuri never met her though, she died before he was born. He was just a hypocrite and jaded old man.

Yuuri always believed, you determine how good you are in life and not your gender. Yuuri couldn’t admit to anyone out loud that he hated his grandfather and his “old-fashioned, traditional alpha” ways. Except maybe to Mari, she got it. Yuuri was just glad he only had to see the bastard once every month or two when he flew in from Japan to check the other branches. If he saw him anymore than that, he might have murdered him already.

Yuuri realized he was zoning out during his phone call with Mari, “Sorry, can you repeat that? How did the meeting in Munich go?” He was just finished fixing his hair and about to leave the hotel bathroom to check out of his room. Some of the hickies Viktor left yesterday on his neck were peaking through the collar of his shirt. Yuuri thinks he might have some concealer in his car he could use for them.

Mari sighed from the other end. “Not much to repeat, but the merger with Schneider & Suzuki’s Wedding Dresses almost fell through again. But, grandfather believed he made a good counter offer and this one will probably stick. But, Yuuri…” Mari trailed off, her voice growing quiet.

Dread filled Yuuri as the silence lingered, and it started to form a lump in his throat as he stared at himself in the bathroom mirror. “Mari, no, please...”

“I’m so sorry. One of the heads of the company has an alpha son, Koji Suzuki, and Grandfather is arranging for you to be married to him. The deal will go through on that condition in a month or two.” Mari spoke so softly. If the room was so deathly quiet, Yuuri might have missed what she said.

He couldn’t hear anything else after that, only the rushing of blood through his ears. Mari’s voice faded into the background. He stared at himself blankly in the mirror and could see tears start to run down his face.

Yuuri’s time was up.
