platonic
- I hope you have lots of patience because it will take forever to be friends with him
- however, when you do finally become friends with him (through bribery of almond tofu)
- he's much sweeter than he lets on
- though he'll only ever show that side of him when he's worried about you
- which is more often than not
- sometimes when you travel through Liyue you swear you catch glimpses of him
- if you confront him about it, xiao will vehemently deny it, saying 'It's just a trick of your mortal eyes."
- no matter how close you two are, he will still call you a mortal.
- is always there if you are in trouble, no matter the situation
- if you're upset he'll (reluctantly and awkwardly) comfort you

- poor boy is so awkward in a relationship, romantic or not
- you'll be the one that has to show him the ropes
- his worry for you is increased tenfold
- your 'dates' usually involve visiting him at the inn or in secluded spots around Liyue
- is very against pda BUT, if you two are around people he trusts (Zhongli or Verr Goldet) or alone, he might let you hold his hand
- maybe even kiss his cheek
- his face is always full of surprise when you kiss him

- he may deny it at times but he truly loves and adores you

- we all know that Kaeya will flirt with you
- that's a given
- You often have to listen to him complain about his brother and work
- you are also usually the one to take him home when he has too much to drink
- he likes taking you around monstadt on little adventures
- also he likes doing your hair, make-up, etc
- also loves teasing you
- often rests his head on yours (or your shoulder) when he's bored
- is very good at calming you down when you're upset or angry
- much more helpful than he lets on (probably will complain when he does help you though)
romantic
- the flirting will be almost nonstop now
- also the teasing has increased
- call you by any nickname he can think of
- spoils you rotten
- his hands (and body) run cold so he often holds your hand and holds you
- loves pda, will tone it down if you aren't okay with it
- loves kissing you anywhere he can get his lips on you
- will tease you with kisses too, he'll pepper your face with little ones but won't actually kiss you on the lips
- you have to pull him in for one
- talks about you ALL the time
- you often catch him staring at you with a starstruck and dreamy look in his eyes
- is very soft at night when the two of you are in bed
