After 2 years of dating Kaeya, the whole city of Mondstadt knew about the relationship between the cavarly captain and his lover, and had started to wonder about your future plans together.
”So when’s the wedding?” ”I’m so excited for you guys!” yada yada,,, citizens inquired, but everyone knew that you had to complete the ritual of true love. A ritual to show a couples bond and get them ready for the altar.
One day during your date with Kaeya he suddenly stops in front of the city fountain and bends down on one knee. ”y/n,,, we’ve been going out for a long time and i don’t think i can wait any longer....” kaeya says while taking a small box out of his pocket, ”y/n, will you marry me?”.
”y-yes!” you weep as you jump into his arms. He hugs you for a second, before gently taking your hand and bringing it to his lips and kissing it gently.
He then proceeds to unhinge his beautiful, sharp jaw and engulf your hand whole. You blush as you hear passerby exclaim: ”It’s finally happening!”
