“So this is what you’ve been doing all day?”
Y/N looked up from her Nintendo switch, seeing her husband with a small frown on his face, he took off his glasses, putting them in his front suit pocket while walking up to her.
“Ah, Kento!” Y/N smiled brightly “You came at the right time, come and sit down with me!”
The blonde man sits beside her, looking at the brightly coloured screen, where he sees a mini version of his wife talking to a tall 3d tanuki about a loan, Nanami raises his eyebrow at what he’s looking at. “What are you playing?”
“Animal crossing! I’ve never played the old games as a kid, so while I had the day off I decided to go to the store and pick it up! So far I just paid off my first loan!”
As his wife explained the context of the game, Nanami softly smiled and listened. He noticed his wife was stressed out the past couple of weeks, especially since he was coming home later and later from his job. He tried to do small things to try to cheer her up while he was away, such as, small notes in her bento wishing her a good day, washing the dishes when she forgot to do them, and sending photos of places and things he’s seen that she would be interested in.
Nanami hated working overtime, but things have been more hectic than usual, with more curses roaming around Tokyo, the chaotic politics of Jujutsu society while coordinating and teaching the youth, duty always came first. But when he was able to come home to his wife, he loved and cherished all the laughter, smiles, and antics that she spent with him. Y/N was something he wanted to protect at all cost.
“...And these are my villagers! This is Billy, he’s an old man goat, he’s a jock and this...” her face soured “...Is Diva.”
Nanami was amused by the annoyance on his wife’s face, the way her nose scrunched up and eyes glared at the screen. He sighed pulling her in his embrace. His wife looked up from her game, “Long day, love?” she asked.
“Hmmm...” he muttered, “Coming back to you makes it worth it.”
Y/N patted Nanami’s head lovingly before going back to her game, a few minutes of silence later…
“Ah, Kento! Look! Look at my campsite!”
Nanami looks up back at the screen to see a grey cat, blonde hair swept to the right wearing black glasses and a grey suit. She clicked the A button to talk to the business cat.
“Heya! Are you from around here? I’m kinda on vacation, just relaxing and focus grouping on a few things….”
Her eyes sparkled while turning to him “It's you! Isn’t he cute?!”
