Katsuki looked up at the sky, an evident scowl on his face when he could see the grey clouds looming over his head. It was raining every day this week which was annoying to him. He and the rest of his pack members would be lucky if they managed to go outside to get a rabbit or a deer to skin, clean, and eat for dinner.
He couldn't necessarily worry about the weather right now since he and the other Head Alpha, Shoto Todoroki, had to gather the rest of the members and figure out how they would go about doing this. They never liked to leave their cave once it was past sundown but it seemed like the rain would only hold up during those nightly hours. They needed more food other than fruits and fish but risking the lives of their members was out of the question. Now with hunters roaming the forest wishing for a kill or other packs who would want to take their territory, that just made their idea about not leaving during the night more effective.
The blonde Alpha stepped back inside of the large cave, catching himself after the first drop of rain fell on his nose and slipped down to hit the rocky ground. He placed his staff that was made of sticks and leaves at the cave entrance, pulling down the cloth and then pulling across the leaves to block the rain from wetting the inside of their home.
It was a really large cave so the rain was never a worry for them. Still, he felt the need to do everything perfectly, to ensure that the pack was well taken care of and no one or nothing was out of place. Everyone must be well fed, cleaned, and always work together in order for them to survive. "No one must leave without the pack Head Alphas knowing," he and Shoto would always say. That was a rule that each of them had to follow, especially since their lives could be at risk if they were to step out of line.
Katsuki could still remember the day he used to run wild with the other members of his pack before he met Shoto and his pack members. They never used to follow rules, leaving as they pleased and making it back home when they felt like. He didn't have to worry about them since they knew how to handle themselves but the day that hunters started to look for the 'strange creatures' as they called them once more, they had to stick to rules.
It was an accident, however, when he found Shoto and his pack members. He knew Shoto was the Head Alpha because of what he was wearing. The Head Alphas tended to wear leaves as an armband on their arms and a leaf anklet around their ankle. Their bottom wear would probably consist of fur. The male Alphas in the pack would wear the same outfit leaving out the armband and anklet while the female Alphas had a fur top as well. As for the Betas and Omegas, their bottom wear and top wear would consist of just leaves and cloths that were put together neatly with all that the forest had to give.
His former pack Omega, Denki Kaminari had left to clean himself at a nearby stream that day. It was close so he allowed him to go but after an hour of not seeing him, he and another one of his pack Alphas, Mina Ashido had set out to find him. They were surprised when they saw the Omega playing with another Omega in the stream. They only chose to watch them since the green-haired male was no threat. He did smell like an Omega that belonged to another pack and their questions were answered when they heard a growl.
Eyes flickered up to be met with heterochromatic ones as well brown ones and the Alphas who had looked at them were not happy. They saw their Omega in danger with the Alphas close by and had to take action. A fight would've possibly broken out if the two Omegas didn't growl at their Alphas themselves.
The four Alphas were taken aback, blinking in confusion and looking down at the two Omegas who were giving them their share of anger. Yellow eyes and green eyes slightly narrowed and their teeth were bared, daring the members of their pack to make a move. They had no problem with each other although they had just met and wanted the Alphas to know that the other meant no harm.
Katsuki could've sworn that he heard Denki called out for him and Mina while the other Omega mentioned a Shoto and Ochaco. Whatever it was that they said had their Alphas pouting (Katsuki would never admit to that) so they just ended up staying and waiting for them to finish to take them back home.
Many days after that, Katsuki as well as his other pack members would notice Denki leaving every day around noon. They would follow him subtly to see that he was in the same stream playing and chatting with the other Omega. "Could it be because he is the only Omega in the pack?" Sero had whispered to his Head Alpha. Katsuki believed the same and just gave a grunt in reply that day.
After realising that Denki would never fail to meet up with the Omega, Katsuki had gotten the idea of consulting with the Alpha of the other Omega's pack. It bothered him to have to deal with another Head Alpha but during the rainy or winter season when Denki could no longer meet up with the Omega, he would stay away from his other members, curling himself in a ball and falling asleep alone. They would be lucky if they had gotten him to eat which was a hard task to do with the withdrawal that the Omega was feeling.
After those long agonising days were up, Katsuki had reluctantly followed Denki to the stream to which he perked up when he saw the rain hold up. He wasn't sure if what he was thinking was right but to see the other Head Alpha standing and looking at him with the same confused eyes had told him something. Had his Omega felt the same?
It was weird at first to put their guard down when another Head Alpha was around. Katsuki wasn't normally one to easily talk with other people but for his pack members, he would, even if he would show it in strange ways.
The same could be said for Shoto who would only care about the members of his pack. Anyone else who was deemed a threat was killed on the spot and he would walk away without batting an eye.
Looking at the pros of this situation was what probably caused them to unite so quickly. It was a good thing to have another proper Head Alpha and his members on his side, rather than another enemy. Plus, if it had come down to them having to deal with too many hunters or rogues that one pack would struggle with, they could take them down with ease once done correctly.
The food that would be gathered would be twice as much and the items made would be plenty. Their pack members could teach each other skills learned and their Omegas would no longer be living as empty shells since they longed for the touch of another like them.
With those thoughts in mind, they both bowed to each other, and plans were quickly made for them to move up north to find a cave. The day that they had told their pack members about it, they were more reluctant to do anything but they did try. As for the Omegas, Izuku and Denki were beyond ecstatic, being the firsts to wake up that early morning to get a move on.
The cave that they had found was the one that they were living in now. Just like that day, it was tough having to live with the fact that there were more of them. Katsuki and Shoto had to remember that there was not only one but two Head Alphas now who had to make decisions together instead of treating the pack members separately or making plans that would benefit a few and leave out the rest.
The best thing was that every day was getting easier. Everyone warmed up to each other and now conversations and laughter were shared amongst all members who could say that they were now a part of one pack. They each had their rightful duties and would never fail to uphold their end of the stick. The cave had been their home ever since and not one of them had plans to leave.
Looking around, Katsuki could see the three Alpha girls, Mina, Ochaco, and Tsuyu relaxing in the pool of water that was at the far end of the cave. They got lucky when they found that inside and would never have to worry about staying dirty during the winter or cold days. It would only be used during that time since once the sun was out, they would bathe in a stream outside.
Eijiro, Hanta, and Tenya were in the middle, sitting by a small fire that they had set up. By the looks of it, the three Betas were scaling and cleaning fish to be eaten soon.
Denki and Izuku were to their left, not close but to their left, curled up together and sleeping the day away on the comfy leaf beds that were lined with fur and stuffed with picked cotton. He wasn't sure why they chose to sleep in the open since there were three parts inside the cave that were separated with some cloths and leaves so it was like three different bedrooms. He didn't think much about it though, figuring that they would prefer to be closer to the other pack members. The two of them were also more tired than usual but that could be said since outside was cold now. Once it was hot again, they would be up and running.
As for Shoto, the other Head Alpha was counting their stock. He had just closed the case that was filled with cold water and fruits, walking over to the next one that was supposed to have sliced meat that would be used the same day but later. He cursed under his breath when he noticed that it was empty but he knew that it wasn't easy to find meat in cold weather.
"Still raining?" The dual-coloured-haired Alpha questioned when he saw Katsuki walking up to him. The blonde grumbled in response, more frustrated at the rain than anything else.
"If it holds up then a few of us should be able to at least grab a deer," He looked down at the empty case that Shoto had just closed and then back at the Alpha. The two of them stared at each other for a while, silently thinking about what they should do. Shoto nodded with a hum and both he and Katsuki went to check on the three Betas who were still cleaning and cooking the fish.
"We're almost completed, Head Alphas. Everyone can be gathered for something to eat in about ten minutes," Tenya was the one to speak up before Katsuki or Shoto could question them. Since they were basically done for the day, the two Head Alphas sat down and helped their Betas finish preparing the food.
Meanwhile, Mina, Ochaco, and Tsuyu had dried themselves and put on new wear. They placed the others in a leaf hamper to be cleaned. Since they were fur, they could be washed and reused.
Now that they were cleaned, the three Alphas could tend to the sleeping Omegas. It was probably the rising scents of the two Omegas that had them wanting to cater to their every need so the first thing that they wanted to do was to wake them up. Next would be giving them a few minutes before they told them to bathe and get ready for something to eat.
"Mm, that smells good," Mina muttered as she held over Eijiro to watch what he and the other four were doing. The Beta glanced up at her with a smile but knew what she was getting at.
"Still have to wait for all to finish," He told her as she held up to get something for Denki and Izuku to wear to put on once they were finished bathing.
"Aw, come on. Just one bite?"
"Calm your tits, pinky. It'll be done in five minutes," Katsuki was the one to answer her. Mina fake saluted and shouted a 'yes sir' before walking over to the other two Alphas who were with the two Omegas.
"Izu-Chan, Denki-Chan," Tsuyu was gently shaking the Omegas awake who just whined and curled closer to each other. Denki mumbled something in his sleep and then threw his leg over Izuku while pulling the covers over them tightly.
The Alphas wished that they could continue to let the two sleep but they had to be fed and cleaned. It was only during their heat period where this would happen just like during the Alphas' rut period when they could barely do anything for themselves. The Omegas would help them through their rut just like the Alphas would help them through their heat. That left the Betas having to basically baby them into eating and cleaning up since they were to tired to do anything else. It was always worse when the Alphas were in a rut since they would tire the Omegas out.
The three started to shake them again but that earned a groggy, "go away Alphas" from Izuku. Just like Denki, the green-haired Omega turned away from them and started to fall asleep again.
That left the three girls to decide that they would make them eat first and then bathe.
Soon after, the fish was finished cooking and apples were sliced for everyone to eat. Mina and Tsuyu were ready to try and wake up Denki and Izuku to eat again but Shoto and Katsuki had told them that they could go and get something to eat while they dealt with them instead.
Shoto had the cooked fish on a plate that was made from pure wood. It was done nicely, cut and edges carved away so that it would be smooth. They had plenty more like it.
Katsuki had sliced apples in a bowl that was made just like the plate but- it was a bowl. He and Shoto sat down beside the two curled up Omegas, placing down the food and then attempting to wake them up.
It was quite easy since the aroma of the food had wafted through the air and straight to their noses. Denki's nose started to twitch and he jumped up with closed eyes, tapping Izuku on his face who did the same but his head was bobbing since he was still in between sleep.
"Are you idiots finally ready to eat now?" Katsuki questioned, earning whines from the two of them. Izuku climbed onto the blonde Alpha's lap, eyes heavy with sleep as he opened his mouth so that Katsuki could feed him a slice of apple. Denki did the same with Shoto but was fed with fish.
Once full, Izuku placed a hand on Katsuki's own and slightly pushed it away. This made Katsuki let out a small growl since he didn't think that the Omega ate enough but Izuku was full so he challenged him back with a growl of his own.
"You gotta eat some more nerd so stop fucking playing around!" Izuku was turning his head away from Katsuki's hand like a baby who didn't want to eat his veggies. Shoto stopped him after a while with a squint of his eyes.
"I think they are going to heat soon," He mumbled so that the two couldn't hear. Katsuki looked down at Izuku who rubbed his arm in slight annoyance and Denki who technically copied the same action. The excessive sleeping and loss of appetite for food counted as factors as well. Also, their scents were only heightening.
"Let's hit the water Izu bro. I feel like I swam around in a lake of mud," Denki shuddered a little in disgust from the thought. It made Izuku chuckle at his friend's actions but he took his hand and followed him to the pool of water. They would quickly run outside and clean their teeth afterward.
Once the two were settled in the water and far away from earshot, Katsuki and Shoto shared a look. "That means we might definitely have to find some meat," The calmer Head Alpha whispered, looking like he was lost in thought. They tended to eat nothing but meat and a small set of fruits when they were dealing with their cycles.
"Yeah, well, the weather's been shit the last few days," Huffed the blonde as he stood up along with Shoto. They still had to eat since they were making sure that everyone else had eaten first. "I'd like it to give us a fucking break at least tomorrow," It was too late now to even go hunting. Outside was darkening which made it more dangerous for them.
"We could wake up at dawn once the rain isn't falling and see what we catch before it comes again," Ochaco suggested what she and probably three others could do. "But since it's chilly we might need more than our usual four. Plus, we need more berries to make berry juice."
It sounded like a good idea but then that left a few cons.
"Wait, round face, that's like saying we have to leave those two nerds over there here alone," Izuku and Denki would sometimes go hunting with them but since they were nearing their heat, that was out of the question. Not only would it slow them down but also draw other packs closer. Hunters would also be able to smell their strong scents.
"One of us could stay then," Hanta added with a shrug as he took a bite of his fish.
"But that's one man less and the rain could come down before we are finished gathering," said Eijiro.
Silence overtook for a while as the eight of them tried to figure out the best option. It seemed like Tenya had come up with a solution that caused them to give him their full attention.
"All of us could set out and every ten minutes, one of us would check in on the Omegas," He paused, taking a breath, and then continued. "That way, if we gathered anything, we could drop it off here for them to put away while we set out again and repeat those steps."
Mina perked up, rapidly nodding her head with a grin. "I think that's a great idea! Besides, the more of us out the better seeing that those icky hunters are multiplying."
It all came down to whether Shoto and Katsuki agreed with the plan. Not having any more ideas, Shoto gave his approval. It was the safest thing that they could do for now.
"Alright fine. Shitty hair would be the one to check on them first and then soy sauce face ten minutes later. You extras better come back with a sufficient amount of food within that time."
"And if anyone else's hands get too full, they could come and give in the food and check as well. This should be settled now," Shoto added, glancing at his and Katsuki's pack members to see if they understood.
"Yes, Alphas!" They all shouted while Eijiro, Sero, and Mina bowed like they were the Kings. Katsuki roll his eyes when they snickered afterward, muttering a 'dumbasses' under his breath before taking a bite of an apple. Since it was too sweet, he sputtered with a grumble and threw it back into his bowl. He got up and rinsed out his mouth, turning back to the others afterward to speak.
"I'm going to sleep. None of you extras bother me," The blonde Alpha made clear. They knew not to wake up Katsuki when he went to sleep early but that never appealed to the two Omegas who hardly listened. If anything, they liked to annoy the blonde more than anyone else.
After hearing the rustling of the leaves and then hearing footsteps, Katsuki knew what was coming next. "Oi Kacchan," Denki teasingly said, jumping onto the Alpha who had just pulled the fur over him. Katsuki ignored him, that was until he realised that the Omega was wet.
"Get the fuck off of me Pikachu!" Izuku ended up having to pull his Omega other from the steaming Alpha since it seemed as if he was going to continue bothering him. It took longer than expected but he eventually got Denki from Katsuki. His heat could be the problem of him wanting to be closer to his pack mates as well.
"D-Denki, dry off and leave Kacchan alone," Izuku told him, stumbling over his words since he could smell the strong scent rolling off of the Alpha in waves. Denki snickered but complied with Izuku's wishes, drying the remaining water from his skin and then putting on his wear for the night.
"Yeah, yeah," Denki waved off a hand as he left to go out to the main part of the cave. "I'm gonna go and get attention from the rest since 'Kacchan' is so grumpy," He ended up having to leave faster than ever, his laughter slowly getting softer as he scampered away from Katsuki who looked like he was ready to tear him apart.
"Fucking dunce face won't give me a break," groaned the blonde but then he turned with a raised brow since Izuku was still around. "The fuck are you looking at nerd? Go with the rest and let me sleep."
Izuku only rubbed his hand nervously in response, eyes flickering from the Alpha's face to his bulging muscles and rippling abs. He was certain that it was the preheat messing with his head but then again he liked looking at every member of the pack. The attention that he and Denki get from each member makes him feel so warm inside; from the girls' sweet kisses and words to the Betas' warmth. How could he forget his Head Alphas' touches whenever he has to go through a heat?

"Shut the fuck up shitty hair. You're acting like it's never been up your ass before," The blonde retorted, not leaving any space for Eijiro to respond as he walked back to Izuku. He barely missed the sounds of laughter that came from most of the pack to Eijiro from his words.
Izuku was in the same position that Katsuki left him in with his knees bent and head turned to the right. He wasn't sleeping, Katsuki could tell that much since he was just staring and blinking slowly.
"Hold under your knees Deku," Said a low raspy voice. Izuku looked down at the Alpha and was quick to comply, holding under his knees and presenting himself to Katsuki so he could clean him out.

"You reallllyyyy tired him out huh Bakugo?" Mina questioned with a grin as she watched the Alpha stepping inside of the water. Katsuki just glanced at her and rested his arms on the decorative rocks behind him.
"The nerd's preheat had him horny so I gave him what he wanted," He grunted and then closed his eyes. The water was a bit chilly but that was because outside was cold from the amount of rain that was falling.
"Mhm, I could tell," She giggled and Katsuki reached out a hand to flick her on her forehead. Mina blew a raspberry at him and then ran off to jump in Ochaco's lap. The brown-haired girl was a bit surprised by the sudden action but the two of them ended up laughing it off and quickly engaged in conversation.
With a sigh, Katsuki settled a bit deeper into the water and closed his eyes. At least today was another safe day from the harmful things outside. He could only hope that they get through with their plan tomorrow but first...
