Midoriya Izuku remembered when he first got his soulmark, he was so fucking happy. Someone out there wanted him! Someone wanted to be with him, except... they didn’t.
Now the biggest detail. His soulmark. It was anything but basic, it was a tree, a green blooming tree filled with red and orange flowers. Some of the flowers fallen, near the roots, others looked like they were about to fall. The mark took up the bottom part on the left side of his torso and had extended to both his back and towards his stomach, But the biggest thing about the mark that Izuku loved? He actually had one.
What he wasn’t ready for, however, was the realisation he had two soulmates, and they might not want him when they find each other.
He assumed that his soulmates would want him, especially when his secondary gender was confirmed to be an Omega. What Alpha doesn’t want a strong Omega? An Omega who could easily fend off anyone trying to take them from their Alpha?
Izuku raised a hand to knocked on Katsuki’s door, ready to call out his name until he heard someone say the blonds name inside of the room. The greenette paused, frowning, as he listened to what sounded like moans coming from the room.
”Fuck, Suki, thats the spot. Just love going down on my cock, don’t you, you fucking slut. Who knew an Alpha could be such a bottom bitch for a cock, huh?” A deep, really familiar, voice came from inside the room. The voice might have been muffled but Izuku immediately knew who it was.
Izuku scoffed under his breath and walked back to his dorm, ignoring that he and Bakugo had scheduled a spar match in an hour.
Izuku shoved his head into the pillow the second he got into the dorm room, hating everything at the moment. How there was no one on the floor to tell then to quite down, how they were getting even louder, how Izuku could hear everything because his room was right next to Katsuki’s.
Izuku scoffed and grabbed his phone, putting some earbuds in and blasting music as loud as he could to block out the noises.
The next day when Bakugo and Kirishima walked into class, both baring mating marks, Izuku just ignored them. He went about his day and just ignored everyone’s existence.
However, again that same week, everyone started trying to find their soulmates and revealed their marks. During that time, so did Bakugo and Kirishima. Izuku stared at them for a few minutes, unable to move, before bolding from the room. He cried the second his door closed, curling into himself on the bed and hiding his pain the best he could.
