Work Text:

“Tch, this damn business test is a pain in my ass,” Katsuki’s gruff voice huffed out in annoyance, brows pinched together in a scowl. Business things should have been left for the business students, but since he was so damn stubborn on going solo ASAP, he had to take this course.

“It’s not that hard, Kacchan.” And naturally, Deku was there too.

With a roll of his eyes, he turned his crimson gaze from the unfortunate textbook to the greenette beside him, lips curling into a menacing smile, “You mean not as hard as you and Emiko went at it last night, eh?”

Explosive laughter burst out at the sudden flush covering the greenette’s face, “W-what? I have no idea what you mean, Kacchan.” His hands moved to cover his face, an attempt at either cooling the skin down or hiding his appearance.

“Oh, guess you’re a kitten on the streets, but a lion in the sheets then?”

“Well, sweetheart, as big as your ego is…” Crimson eyes darted to meet the unsettling yellow gaze, peeking around the corner of the bookcase, “his dick is bigger.”

With yet another roll of his eyes, Katsuki gave a smile, “Enjoying our torment, Hag?” He oh-so-subtly glanced behind her, noticing a distinctive lack of a certain someone. Not that he much cared what she did. Nope. Not at all. “Where’s Hana?” Goddamnit, Katsuki, way to go and sound like some lovesick puppy… Lovesick? No. Yes? No. Just… tension.

“Me, enjoy the suffering of my boyfriend and his friend? Never,” Emiko strut over, seating herself across from them, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of her lips, “So, first name basis with Hana?”

Katsuki sputtered for an answer, knowing that he’d slipped up in using Hana’s first name. Nothing left him, not even a peep, his cheeks tinted with a faint touch of red. A mischievous spark glinted in her eyes, “She’s grabbing some coffee with Kaibara. How’s the studying going for you two?”

Jaw clenched at the mention of his name. He wasn’t jealous. Not at all. Hana was friends with Kaibara now. They’d broken it off a good four to five years. Deku and Emi’s conversation became muted, far-off. The words in his textbook swam across his vision. His mind was not there, wandering off to the empty seat. This was usually when they would hang out. A small reprieve in their busy days of studies where their free periods overlapped. Her absence felt… strange.

It felt strange. To be so concerned over her absence, to realize just how used to her presence he was. Was she interested in Kaibara again? They had only ended their relationship in third year due to the difficulties of juggling schoolwork with a relationship. They never fought or expressed any disinterest in each other after the break-up…

Annoyance reaching a climax, he slammed his textbook shut, barking out a curt “I’m done” and abruptly pushed himself off of his chair. His gait radiated his annoyance, each step a stomp echoing through the mostly empty library.

Izuku glanced back at his friend, concern pinching his brows together, “Kacchan?” With confusion written all over his face, he turned to look at Emi, hoping to find some manner of answers there, “What just happened?”

“I think your dear Kacchan might be seeing a bit green,” she hummed, yellow eyes fixed to his back, knowing full-well what was going on in that little mind of his. Or at least, she could make a very good estimated guess of what the Pomeranian was annoyed with.

A moment passed, the gears turning in Izuku’s head, trying to put the pieces together. His gaze darted from Katsuki, to Emi, to the empty seat where Hana usually sat. The moment everything clicked into place, he made an “oh” sound. Now things made a lot more sense. “Is Murasaki actually having coffee with Kaibara?” he asked, voice a hushed whisper.

“Yes, but they’re working on a group assignment,” she whispered back, “Besides, Kaibara is dating Kendou at the moment. I just think Bakubutt needs a little,” her hand twirled in the air, as if seeking to grasp the word she sought from the very air, “incentive.”

“Oh, I see what you’re doing. I think.”

Warm laughter bubbled up as Hana set down her coffee, eyes crinkling with mirth, “Oh, you and Kendou make the cutest couple, Kai.” Most of their part of the assignment was done, with just a few last-minute proofreadings to spot-check for any errors left. For now, they took a small break.

Somehow this small break lead to discussing relationships, and Kaibara was more than happy to tell her all about him and Kendou. It was nice to know two of her friends were doing well and in a healthy relationship. Most of their friends were seeing people, whether it be on-and-off again romances or more long-term ones. She, on the other hand, had not really settled into any sort of relationship after Kaibara. Not for a lack of moving on, but rather that her focus mainly sat on her studies.

Of course, that also had nothing to do with the fact that a certain explosive blonde was stuck in her thoughts most of the time. Yes, that was purely coincidence. And Emi’s little teasing remarks didn’t help make matters any easier.

“So, what about you, Murasaki? Anyone special in your life yet?” Kaibara’s voice pulled her out of her thoughts, putting her a bit on the spot.

With a slight smile, she reached for her cup once more, taking a thoughtful sip, “Not really. I don’t really think he’s the type for settling down. At least, not anytime soon. I swear, his one and only devotion in life is going to be his work.”

Hearty laughter burst form Kaibara, “No truer words could be spoken of Bakugou.”

In a few seconds flat, Hana’s face turned beetroot red, eyes wide as she stared at him in disbelief. How in the actual fuck did he know she was talking about Katsuki? Clearing her throat, she tried not to let her voice waver too much, “Uh, Bakugou? Who said it was him?”

“Oh, come now, Murasaki,” he chuckled, resting his chin in one hand, giving her an impish little grin, “I’m pretty sure everyone on campus can see you two eye-fucking each other. It’s just the two of you that seem to not be noticing it.”

If she was beetroot red before, then Hana knew no other word that would match the shade of red she was now, her entire face, ears and neck glowing with warmth. Had she been that obvious? Certainly not. And besides, Katsuki never looked at her like that… Right?

“Anyway, I was wondering, Kendou wanted to have a little get-together, you know, before exams start. She was hoping all our UA buddies would show up. You’re welcome to invite anyone.”

“Yeah, that sounds neat,” she hummed, thankful for the change in topic, her hands desperately trying to cool down her cheeks, “I’ll definitely be there. Emi and Deku will probably want to go with.”

“It’s a date then.”

A loud pop sounded, followed by a few surprised yips and gasps. She turned her head to look at the commotion, blue eyes meeting those crimson ones, the very ones that were always on her mind. He looked… livid couldn’t even begin to describe the absolute fury and annoyance written over his features. His lips pulled into a sneer, brows pushed down, and with that, he stomped out of the cafeteria.

What on earth could have made him that pissed? He’d had a pretty good hold on his temper nowadays, hell, the last time he looked that pissed was back in high school.

“Hey, Kacchan, are you coming to the party tonight?” Izuku asked, peeking at his friend from behind the cupboard door, “It’s mostly going to be UA kids there.”

“I’m fine,” he growled out, lips pulling into a snarl, “Go have fun or whatever.”

Izuku paused midway through pulling on his new shirt, green eyes fixed on Katsuki. Green brows furrowed together, hands finally tugging the shirt all the way down. Ever since this afternoon, Katsuki had been in a sour mood. Apparently, he’d even blown up a cup of coffee in the cafeteria. Izuku could almost see the cloud above his friend’s head. He knew he couldn’t force him to come with to the party, but he also knew that leaving him here on his own wasn’t a good idea either.

“I heard Kirishima and Celeste are going to be there. Man, I haven’t seen them since the December holidays,” he mentioned non-chalantly, pretending to focus on which pair of socks he wanted to wear, gaze darting over to Katsuki.

At the mention of his friends, he seemed to perk up somewhat, showing a little bit more interest in the party than he had before, “Oh yeah? Tch, maybe I’ll go with. Might as well catch up with them. But I’m heading back early. Sleep over in Emi’s room if you plan on partying later than eight.”

Soft laughter escaped Izuku, tossing over a clean shirt, “Just at least look like you want to be there.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

Katsuki nursed a plastic cup in his hand, their contents a mystery to him at this point. He knows it held beer for the first few rounds. But it definitely wasn’t beer now. And it wasn’t some pissy liquor either, it was the good shit.

He stood at the back of the room, leaning against the wall, finding some modicum of comfort in the coolness of the wall. Kirishima and Celeste had been keeping him company for a bit, but as soon as there was dancing, the duo disappeared. Now and then, when the crowd parted, he’d catch glimpses of them tearing up the dance floor.

At least they were having fun. Him, on the other hand? What part of watching others have fun and feeling a bit of a buzz would be considered fun?

“Is there ever a time you don’t scowl, Bakugou?”

Eyes wide, he nearly lost his balance as he spun to face her, surprise written over every inch of him. He was not expecting her to be here. Well, maybe that was stupid of him. Most of the people here were from UA. Why was her being here such a surprise? Maybe because he was expecting her to be somewhere with Kaibara, on some sort of date.

“See what I mean?” she chuckled, forefinger gently pressing at the skin between his brows, attempting to push his scowl away.

For once, he was thankful for the poor lighting. That way she couldn’t see the way his cheeks flushed at her very touch. “Apparently the ladies like it,” he offered with a shrug, leaning back against the wall, making a small bit of space between them.

“Oh?”

He mistook the tone for mocking, sarcasm. He missed the flicker of hurt on her face. Rolling his eyes, he glanced over at her, “Why are you even here? Shouldn’t you be hanging out with your boyfriend.”

That seemed to catch her off-guard, a look of confusion on her face, “Boyfriend? What are you talking about?”

“Oh, come on, don’t play dumb with me,” he snarled, sounding more forceful than he had intended, “I saw you two getting all cozy in the cafeteria. I’m surprised you two aren’t off snogging in the corner or something.”

“Bakugou Katsuki, what the hell has gotten into you? You’ve been miserable this whole day and I won’t take this bullshi-“

With a loud snarl, he threw his cup to the floor, pinning her against the wall, hands splayed out on either side of her. “You. You’re what’s gotten into me. I can’t get you out of my head.” Standing so close to her, he could breathe in her scent. “No matter how much I try, I just can’t shake you off.” Crimson eyes darted between her eyes and lips, watching as they parted, chest moving with each pant of breath she took.

Oh, how he wanted to lay claim to those lips, to taste her, to take her all in. Every inch of his body buzzed with energy, his face leaning close, his lips almost touching her own.

“Hey, Katsuki!” Celeste called out, her small hands pulling him away from Hana, “Come on.”

He turned to glare at her, and if looks could kill, she would be dropping dead. “What!?” he snarled out, her purple eyes staring at him wide-eyed, like a deer caught in the headlights. He turned to look back, only to find Hana gone. His heart sank, realizing that he’d most like fucked up everything now.

“Geeze, who pissed in your drink?” Celeste huffed, crossing her arms over her chest, “Eiji wants you to help us with a beer pong match. We’re facing off against Emi and Deku, and whoever their third partner is.”

Maybe drinking this night away would make him forget any of this happened. “Sure.”

They weaved through the crowd, finally ending up in a smaller, quieter room. A ping pong table had been set up already, beer cups arranged haphazardly. Kirishima beamed as soon as he saw the duo arrive, “Ah, just in time. Emi just came back with their third member.”

And once more that day, crimson eyes met blue ones.

Hana was still very much shell-shocked from Katsuki’s impromptu confession… if that’s what she could even call it? Someone had pulled Katsuki aside, and in that small window, she’d been pulled aside by an excited Emiko asking her to help with a beer pong match. Thinking that maybe that would be a good idea to help her with processing the information she had just learnt, she accepted.

Only now, standing at the end of the table, peering into those crimson eyes once more, she knew that accepting this challenge might not have been the best of ideas. The air grew think with tension, her mouth suddenly dry. Emi, Deku, Kirishima and Celeste seemed to enjoy themselves as they took their turns, but Hana couldn’t truly focus on the match. Her mind kept pulling her focus away from the beer cups and over to Katsuki.

He seemed as interested in the match as she did, his gaze unwavering, fixed on her. Well, until she looked at him. Then his gaze would dart off to the side, as if he hadn’t been caught staring. Was this what Kaibara had meant? Were these the looks he’d always given her? Then why was she noticing them now? Was it because it had been pointed out to her? Or was it perhaps because of what had transpired earlier?

Honestly, who could tell at this point. All that she was aware of, was how uncomfortable she felt. No, not because of the interaction or because she didn’t feel comfortable around anyone present. No, it was more a discomfort between her legs. One she knew well, but one that she could not alleviate any time soon. Well, she could, but it would be very frowned upon. Or she could leave early, but that would be a bit sad.

“Hello, Earth to Hana?”

“Hmm?” she hummed, gaze tearing away from Katsuki to peer at Emi. Her best friend stared at her expectantly, hands on her hips, waiting. Waiting for what? Shit. “Yes?”

“You sure you okay, Hana? If you want to sit this one out, you’re more than welcome to,” Emi offered, giving her a polite smile. But there was an edge to the corner of her smile, a glint in her eyes. Oh, she knew Hana wasn’t completely focusing on the game. She was trying to offer her an out.

Swallowing the lump in her throat, she gave a coy smile, “Yeah, I think I’m gonna call it a night. One of those days, ya know?”

“Mmmm, yes, one of those days.”

Hana flushed at the impish grin on her friend’s face, but nodded, “Yep. Night guys, thanks for having me.”

“Oh, you’re going on your own?” Celeste piped up, a look of concern on her face, “At least let one of the boys walk you back to your room.”

Hana squinted as Celeste and Emi shared a look, then dropped their gazes on Katsuki. She wanted to tell them that she was fine and didn’t need someone to escort her back to her room, but before she could pipe up, Katsuki gave an annoyed huff. “Fine.”

Annoyance flared up at his tone of voice, her brow twitching. She wasn’t going to argue, she just wanted to get back to her room and pretend this night never happened. Her steps carried her out of the flat swiftly, and for the briefest of moments, she thought she’d lost him in the crowds. But there he was, bobbing and weaving through them so effortlessly.

The rest of the walk to her dorm room was quiet. Though, that was as much a blessing as it was a curse. Neither one of them attempted to start a conversation, both of them trapped in their own thoughts. There were brief flickers, where it looked like Katsuki was about to say something, and then seemingly changed his mind halfway through.

Seeing her room, she started to slow her pace, as did he. What should have taken her less than a minute, took them over five minutes. And when they finally stood in front of the door, she hesitated. It felt like an eternity had passed between her finding her keys and unlocking her dorm room.

“So, this is it.”

“Yeah.”

“I guess this is where we call it a night?”

“I guess.”

“You know,” she started, pausing midway, contemplating for a moment, “I don’t know what gave you the idea, but I actually don’t have a boyfriend.”

A moment of silence passed. “Then what was Kaibara talking about a date then?”

She looked up at him with genuine surprise, “I… what?” And then it clicked into place. All the tiny little puzzle pieces fit together. Soft laughter bubbled up, “Oh my god, Katsuki.” The soft flush on his cheeks was priceless, and she gently held his face in her hands, “He was talking about tonight’s party. He’s dating Kendou.”

It was amusing to watch the little gears turn in his head, to see him finally realize he’d been acting like a jack-ass for absolutely no reason whatsoever. “Oh,” he hummed out, tongue darting out to lick his lips, “I see.”

A moment passed by, the two of them staring at each other. A charge built up, exploding when Katsuki rushed forward, his lips crashing onto her own. A surprised sound escaped her, muffled by his mouth, but she eagerly returned the kiss. She wasn’t quite sure how long the kiss had lasted, but it certainly felt like a while.

As they parted, both panting for breath, they gave each other a look.

“She can stay with Deku,” he growled out, pushing open the door.

That seemed to be all that was necessary, both of them stumbling into the room. Hana paused for a moment, tying a pink ribbon haphazardly around the outside doorknob – her and Emi’s way of warning the other when the room had… guests.

And then it all passed by in a blur, lips meeting, hands wandering, tugging at the confines of their clothes. In moments, they were on her bed, stripped down to their underwear. She flushed as his intense gaze moved up and down her body, drinking her all in.

“You’re… breath-taking,” he whispered, planting gentle and loving kisses on her stomach, his lips warm against her, “And you’re all mine.” The primal possessiveness in his voice, at the carnal look he gave her, made her shiver beneath him, a soft moan escaping her.

He leaned back, staring down at her, crimson gaze filled with hunger. Her gaze drank him in as well. Well-toned muscles, flexing with each movement he made. A trail of blonde hair disappearing beneath his boxers, and a visible outline that made her legs quiver in anticipation.

His hands gently trailed down, unclasping her bra. She tensed, and he stopped, crimson eyes meeting hers, “If you want me to stop, just give the word. Even if we’re halfway into it.” He looked so soft in that moment, his hand gently caressing her face, “I mean it. I want this to be special… but I want it to be at your pace.”

Lips pulling into a smile, she held his hand in her own, placing gentle kisses against his calloused palm. “I didn’t know you could be so sweet, Katsuki.”

His brows pulled into a scowl, lips tugging into a sinister smirk, “Just cause I’m sweet doesn’t mean I’m going to be easy on you, Hana. I’ll make sure you can’t walk straight for a week.” And she knew he would do his darndest to make sure he saw that through.

Once again, his hands returned to her bra, gently prying it off of her. He took a moment to appreciate the view of her breast, right before he dove down upon them, lathering them with kisses, squeezing in a playful nip or two. She panted in delight, soft moans escaping her, fingers carding through his hair, the stubble of his undercut ticklish to her fingertips.

Whichever breast his mouth was not occupied with was gently massaged by his free hand, a delightful contrast that had her trying to squeeze her legs shut to receive some sort of friction. Only to let out a disappointed whimper as his torso prevented that. And oh, he gave such an infuriating smirk. She couldn’t see it, but she could feel him giving her that smirk.

“Easy there, I’ll make sure to give her attention soon enough.” And to punctuate his point, he ran his hand over her crotch, teasing her through the fabric for the briefest of moments, and then his hand went back to massaging her breast.

She wanted to give some smartass comment, but at that very moment, his lips enveloped her nipple, tongue rolling the sensitive nib in his mouth, and a low keen escaped her. One part of her wanted to push her chest closer to him, the other was overwhelmed by the sensation and wanted her to pull away. It was a delightfully torturous sensation.

And all too soon, he pulled away with a loud pop, lips pulled into a smug grin, “Enjoying yourself so far?”

“No, not at all,” she huffed out, her words holding no bite, and the roll of her eyes playful.

“Guess I’ll have to fix that then,” he chuckled, and in an instant, his mouth was by her panties, lapping at her through the thin and soaked fabric. A deep groan escaped him, eyes falling shut, “You taste absolutely delicious.”

Katsuki,” she squealed out as he gave a light suck, her hands grasping at his hair. Her cheeks flushed, uncertain whether to let him continue or to push him away. Part of her was embarrassed at having his face so close to her most intimate of areas. The other part of her was yelling at her to let him go to town.

We all know which part won.

Gently, as if treating a piece of fine china, he pulled her panties off, leaning back once more to drink her in. The look of pure adoration on his face made her cheeks flush, her hand moving to cover her face, only for his own to pull it away. “Don’t hide any part of yourself. You’re absolutely gorgeous,” he whispered, placing a gentle kiss to her forehead.

And then he was between her legs, tongue tentatively licking at her lower lips, crimson gaze fixed to her own. It was too much for her. To experience those sensations, to look into his gaze during such an intimate act. Her fingers grasped at his hair, carding through them, her eyes screwed shut. Only to fly open as she felt something press ever so slightly against her entrance.

He pulled away, her cheeks flushing at the glint of wetness around his mouth. She noticed his hand between her legs, then looked back up at his face. “If it’s too much, tell me,” he whispered, then dove back down.

This time his mouth focused on her clit, tongue lapping at it, gently sucking. Ever so gently, he worked a finger into her, gently feeling around. Until he hit a spot that had her seeing stars, legs kicking out. As soon as he found that spot, he continued to stroke at it, curling his finger against it.

She tried to bite back any moans or gasps, but he gave a particularly hard suck that had her cry out in pleasure, cheeks flush at the thought that their neighbours might have heard her. “Katsuki,” she hissed, eyes narrowed at him.

With a shit-eating grin, he pulled away, just enough to speak, but close enough that each puff of air breezed over her sensitive clit. “I want everyone to know that I’m the one making you feel good.” And without another moment wasted, he dove back to her clit, slipping another finger into her entrance.

Her legs shook, hands grasping at his hair and the covers, trying to find some sort of anchor. “Oh god, oh god,” she whispered like a mantra, over and over.

“Nice sentiment, but no, it’s just Katsuki,” he said, giving another smirk, and boy, if he wasn’t making her feel as good as she was now, she’d have given him a mouthful… perhaps that was not the right choice of words.

He moved away from her, hands pulling off his boxers in one swift motion. She wanted to tell him there was a condom in the desk drawer, but he’d already rummaged around in his pile of clothes, took out his wallet and pulled out one from there. She arched a brow at him, to which he merely shrugged, “Rather safe than sorry. Besides, most of them ended up being used by Deku.”

She scrunched her nose at the mention of Izuku’s name, “I really would like to not think of my best friend and her boyfriend like that.” He simply shrugged once more, and she rolled her eyes at him. At least they were both prepared for something like this.

Her gaze stayed fixed on him, watching intently as he firmly held his cock in his hand, taking his time to make sure the condom was the right way around, and then slowly rolling it over. Once the condom was on, he made his way back to her, settling between her legs once more. “Are you still sure about this?” he asked, gently stroking her cheek, “We can stop now, if you want to.”

“Bakugou Katsuki, if you stop now, I will kill you,” she barked, eyes narrowed at him, feeling more confident than she had moments prior. Or maybe that was the arousal talking.

“A woman after my own heart,” he purred out, hands moving to spread her legs further. Moving one hand to his cock, he guided the head to her entrance, pausing to look into her eyes, and then ever-so-slowly, started pushing into her.

A soft hiss escaped both of them, though hers was more from discomfort, and his from pleasure. He took his time, moving as carefully as he could, until he finally bottomed out. Strained pants left him, arms shaking on either side of her.

“Fuck,” he hissed, resting his head against her shoulder, “You feel… amazing.” He lathered her with gentle kisses, whispering sweet nothings between each one. Every now and then, he’d move his hips, a little bit more each time, letting her grow accustomed to him, to this.

“I could say the same,” she whispered back to him, hands gently stroking his back.

In that moment, everything was calm and still. She felt… well, content. It was a nice feeling, just holding one another, feeling his heart beat in rhythm with her own. He rocked his hips oh-so-gently, constantly watching her, making sure she was comfortable. She wondered if he would be this gentle every time, or if this was just him holding back.

Her question was unintentionally answered when his pace started to pick up, his mouth latching onto her shoulder, “S-sorry, but I don’t think I can hold out much longer.” She thought he meant that he was nearing his end. Oh, how wrong she was.

His hips pulled out of her, and promptly slammed back in, a sharp gasp parting her lips. His pace became quick and brutal, her hands grasping at him for dear life, nails scratching his skin. One of his free hands moved to rub her clit, his mouth leaving a trail of wet kisses and hickeys all over her shoulder.

She felt truly alive in that moment, buzzing with energy. A coil wound itself up within her, tightening each passing second. Her legs shook, her hands grasping at him, trying to pull him closer. Her lips parted as silent cries of pleasure escaped her, her voice gone.

He pounded into her, leaving her thoughts dizzy. All she could focus on was the absolute bliss she was in. She hadn’t even noticed how she chanted his name over and over, begging him to keep going. She was almost there, so close.

That coil wound up one last time, and then it burst free. A sharp cry left her, body shaking with the force of her orgasm. And then she crashed down, body limp. She felt… amazing. Not long after her, Katsuki’s pace began to stutter, his rhythm lost as he sought to chase after her own pleasure, stilling in her for a moment.

“Fuck,” they both said in unison, light laughter bubbling up.

Katsuki reluctantly pulled out of her. As much as he wanted to stay within her heavenly confines, he had to remove the condom. He rolled it off, tied it up, and threw it into the dustbin. Finding his boxers, he pulled them on again. He arched a brow as he finally noticed Hana’s gaze on him, “Yes?”

“You’re not staying?” she asked, something behind the inquisitive tone of her voice that had him at her side in seconds.

“Of course I’m staying. Don’t mistake me for some random college player,” he huffed, planting a loving kiss to her forehead, “I just don’t like sleeping naked.” Feeling her relax beneath him, made him relax as well. “Here, put this on.”

In his hand, he held his shirt. She stared at it curiously for a moment, then eagerly pulled it on, a giddy smile on her face. She looked… well, adorable. That was the best word he could think of in that moment. Handing her her panties, she quickly shimmied into them, and then he tugged the covers over both of them.

She nestled against him, head resting on his shoulder. And for the first time in forever, he was completely and utterly at peace. He watched as her breathing evened out, finally asleep. With a faint smile on his lips, he planted one last kiss to her forehead, “I love you.”
