Toru smacked the card down and cheered, pumping her fist into the air while still holding the singular card close to her shirt. "Uno!" she exclaimed, observing the varying reactions of her friends. She had managed to convince Bakugou to play Uno with her, and after their first game, three more people had joined; Tsu, Mina, and Ochako.
Bakugou growled; he had at least ten cards in his hand still, and he based on his expression, they were not good cards. Mina had an excited look on her face, but Mina also had a great poker face, so Toru couldn't trust that she actually had anything up her sleeve. Ochako had the most cards, but she still looked determined, something that Toru always admired about her. Everyone had fallen silent, even Bakugou. It was Tsu's turn; did she have a way to turn the tides around? Tsu had been oddly quiet.
Toru bounced in place, almost exploding with excitement. This was their third game, and so far it had been incredibly exciting. The first game with Bakugou ended in a surprise win for Toru, the second game with Mina and Ochako was almost a win for Mina, until Ochako had surprised her with a great hand. Now, Toru could not wait for the outcome of this game; Would she be victorious? Or would she be defeated?
Tsu put down a card; Reverse. Then she put down the most dreaded card... "Toru-chan... draw four."
A cheer erupted around the group, and even Bakugou looked somewhat smug. Toru heaved a dramatic sigh, putting a hand to her forehead so everyone could see. "Ohh, no! You've got me!" she declared, feigning disappointment. With that, she drew four, and the game continued. Toru was excited to see the turnout of this game even more, now. Who would be victorious in this false battle?
