Work Text:

Min Yoongi and Park Jimin
cordially invite you to their wedding
on Saturday 10th May 2017.

“What do you mean you can’t find him anywhere?” asked Namjoon. I’m not going to panic, he thought. Taehyung had just informed him that he couldn’t find Jimin anywhere. “Are you sure he’s not in the toilet?”

“Hyung, Jungkook and I looked everywhere. He’s not there.” replied Taehyung and he wasn’t lying. The two of them had really searched everywhere, even in the closet. Taehyung was worried. He left his best friend for literally five minutes and when he came back Jimin was gone. He didn’t want to burden Namjoon until he was sure that Jimin wasn’t there, so he got Jungkook to help him.

Namjoon sighed, “I’m gonna have to tell Yoongi. While I talk to him, you two should find Seokjin-hyung and Hoseok, maybe they’ve seen him.”

Jungkook nodded. He really hoped that Jimin was with them. “We’ll message you if we have any news.” said Taehyung.

Namjoon knocked on the door. “Hyung, can I come in?”

Nobody answered. Weird, he thought.

“Hyung?” he knocked once more.

Again, there was no reply.

“Hyung, I’m coming in.” Namjoon opened the door.

Yoongi wasn’t there.

Shit.

Namjoon considered himself as calm and collected most of the time, but right now he was in full panic mode. Not only had Jimin disappeared, but Yoongi had too.

“So you’re telling me that both Jimin and Yoongi have disappeared at their own wedding?” asked Seokjin. He was baffled. “Wasn’t Taehyung supposed to be with Jimin and Hoseok with Yoongi?”

“You’re right,” said Taehyung “but I had to help Jungkookie.”

“Yeah, I called Tae-hyung because I was locked in the toilet.” explained Jungkook.

“What about you Hobi?” asked Namjoon. He still couldn’t believe that the two husbands-to-be had disappeared just two hours before their own wedding started and without any of their friends noticing.

Hoseok scratched his neck. “I was with him, but after he received a text he started acting a bit weird. I actually thought he was panicking for the wedding. He asked me to get him a coffee from the Starbucks across the street. I was coming back from there when Tae and Kookie saw me and told me about Jimin.”

Seokjin sighed. “We have to find them.” The others nodded.

It was when Taehyung got called by Jungkook that Jimin decided to text Yoongi. He just had told him that Taehyung left him to help the maknae of their group when Yoongi came up with the plan. The two of them hadn’t meant to disappear, but they couldn’t help it. They wanted to see each other. Although it wasn’t Jimin’s idea, he found it great nonetheless. They knew that their friend wouldn’t of let them see each over right before the beginning of the wedding. Seokjin had said something about bad luck.

“I can’t wait to marry you.” Jimin turned his head at those words. Yoongi was looking at him smiling. After sneaking out, the two of them went on the rooftop of the building they were going to get married in. Jimin laid his head on Yoongi’s shoulder and took the other’s hand in his. “I’m so lucky to have you in my life, sunshine.” continued Yoongi.

“Shut up, I’m the lucky one.” replied Jimin with a grin. Just the thought that in a couple of hours he could finally call Yoongi his husband made him ecstatic. “I’m so in love with you, Hyung. From the moment we started going out I knew you were the one. I’m gonna love you until we’re grey and old.”

“Sunshine, you’re gonna make me cry if you continue with your love declaration. Joon, Hobi and I have a bet on how long it’s gonna take for me to cry at the wedding. I can’t lose even before the actual beginning of the ceremony.” Yoongi made a face. Jimin hit his arm while laughing “Hyung, I love you bu sometimes you’re an idiot.”

Their laughter got interrupted by Jimin’s ringtone. Taehyung. “I should answer this, he might be worried.”

Jimin accepted the call. “Tae Tae?” He put the phone on speaker.

“Jiminie? Where on earth are you and Hyung? We can’t find you anywhere and Hyung’s not answering our phone calls. You disappeared more than an hour ago” Shit. Jimin and Yoongi looked at each other. That meant there was less than an hour to the ceremony.

“We lost track of time. We’re on the rooftop. We’ll come down straightaway. Sorry for making you worry.”

“Alright, I’ll tell the others. See you in a bit.” Taehyung ended the call.

The ceremony passed in a blur.
After a scolding from their worried friends, the two husbands-to-be finished getting ready and the proceeded with the wedding.
They all couldn’t stop smiling.

“I love you, husband.” said for the nth time Jimin.

Yoongi smiled. “I love you too, husband.”
