Chapter Text
Min Yoongi had promised himself he wouldn't cry. And so far, so good. But as the building appeared behind the corner of the dusty street, he pressed his fingernails hard into the palms of his hands. His brother behind the steering wheel must have noticed how Yoongi has stiffened in the passengers seat right next to him, because Yoongi could literally feel the concerned look his brother shoot him. Nope, he would not cry. He didn't cry for such a long time, why of all the places on earth should he start right here, in front of the Seoul Psychiatric Hospital, with his brothers concerned face to his left side and no possibility to escape.
"Are you alright?". The sound of his Brothers voice made him want to throw up. "Yeah, fine.", Yoongi replied as they parked the car in front of the Mansion like building. "You sure you don't want me to come in with you? I mean..." "Yes I am sure, thank you!". Yoongi could've slapped himself in the face for being so rude to his older sibling, but his nerves were truly on edge. "I'm sorry. I just don't want you to see me inside there, you know.", he said with a tired sigh. "I know, but you don't have to do this alone. If you change your mind, just call me, okay? I'll visit you and be there!" The affectionate smile he gave Yoongi made his heart hurt. "Okay, if I should change my mind, I'll call you.", Yoongi said as he removed his seatbelt and opened the car door. His brother, visibly torn between following his younger Brother and just driving back to the city as soon as possible, just sat there, both of his hand still on the steering wheel. After Yoongi got his bag from the backseat, he looked at his brother with the tiniest smile. "Please stop worrying, alright? They will take care of me!". He slammed the car door shut and after looking at his brother like what felt kind of "for the last time", he turned around and started walking to the entrance door. Only when his fingers touched the cold metal doorknob he could hear the engine of the car start and the sound of the ground under the tires. But he did not turn around. He was sure, if he would turn around right now, seeing his brother leave, he would not keep the promise he gave to himself.
