Sulk was the title of the Radiohead song playing in the background when I signed up for an A03 account, so I chose that as my screen name. That does not speak well of my powers of imagination, but at least it was not a Prodigy tune; I could have been called Diesel Power, or Invaders Must Die. Although Smack My Bitch Up has a certain attitude..... As if , I could ever carry that off!
I was born in November 1069, and have spent most of the last nine hundred and some years writing research essays on English politics. If I ever lead a wicked enough life to earn an afterlife in hell, I have a feeling the only reading matter there will be Hansard Notes.
For small amounts of money I write plots and invent villains for mission strings on browser games.
My main hobbies include disbelieving the existence of roller-coasters, being an Anti-Stratfordian (because that annoys so many people - even those who believe in aliens / ghosts / Celine Dion / roller-coasters / reincarnation); singing soprano in a performance choir; appreciating theatre, books (of the sort no one can be snobby about - All hail Pterry!); indie films (about which I am obsessively snobby); and last, but not least, sexual deviancy.
Writing is a form of self-entertainment, and if others like the end result, I could not be happier.
