I have never used AI and will continue to never do so. It's shameful that generative AI is allowed on this website.If you DO use AI: please do yourself a favor and stop. Besides the environmental and social impacts of these tools, you're not building any skills as a writer. Every step to the process is important, even if you think it's hard or boring.
AI generates the statistically most likely string of characters when given a number seed in the form of a prompt, based on data that was taken illegally and without consent. It does not think or recall information. It cannot plan, create, or edit a story. Only a human can do that.
I know I'm not the best or most polished writer, but I love what I do and I want my readers to feel that love, because I'm human.
