Hello!
By way of introduction, I am a longtime reader of comics, fantasy, mythology, history, ancient works, the classics, science, sci-fi, and many other things. My background includes fiction writing, science, journalism, being a small business owner, working in the tech industry, world travel, and marketing.

I don't enjoy a great deal of angst in the fics I choose to read (or write) and don't need a forced, heavy meta plotline to be delighted by a story about characters I love. I gravitate to AU's, fix-its, domesticity, fluff, and happy endings. That said, complexity is wonderful, and digging deeper into the characters' lives; their thoughts, relationships, pasts, etc. is my thing.
I've been reading fanfiction for years, and love it, but didn't start writing it myself until a couple of years ago when I spent about two years of my life giving birth to The Secret Life of Superheroes... Kara, Alex, and Shah's 10-year journey, from start to finish. I've also been working on my first novel (a blend of science-fi and fantasy), but I need to find time to get back to it.
