I originally thought about posting anonymously, since I'm not confident in my writing, but remembered I had an old alt that hasn't been used in four years so here we are. The last time I've written anything was late 2015, which was bad then, so that likely hasn't changed. Expect mostly oneshots whenever I do post, I don't have much time to write, but there are a few ideas for multi-chapter fics and connected works as part of a series.
The name BetterOffLost is based on the ending of the same name from (Mario) The Music Box, a fanmade horror game. It shows how sometimes things are best left unsaid, never to be seen or heard about again, which reflects my own feelings. If anything ever happens, it would be for the best if everyone forgets about me and my works.
As much as I love reciprocated SMG34, something about a pining, one-sided affection from SMG3 feels fitting. Three is always embarrassed and denies being friends so I imagine falling for his ex-rival would be difficult to accept and confessing out of the question. In "You Used To Be Cool" Three calls the SMG4 crew his friends but still tried to convince himself he could kill Four. I see SMG4 as someone who understands the feelings of others better than his own. Four doesn't understand what he feels for SMG3 to be love until someone else points it out and takes time to reflect.
I have too many ideas based on "It's Gotta Be Perfect" because I love Angst. Most fics will be Hurt/Comfort while anything with Major Character Death is of course Hurt/No Comfort. I've loved the concept of darker "what-ifs" since thinking about if Phantom R had actually been shot and finding writers had the same idea.| Favorite Fanfiction Tropes |
