Hi everyone!
A little about me?
I'm a fun loving 28 yo Australian living with my hubby and 2 dogs. I live for the sunshine and detest the winter meaning I nearly always travel to the northern hemisphere in June-August to escape it. Although the idea of snow is appealing to me I think if I ever encountered it (real snow that is, Australian ski fields do NOT count) I would curl up in a ball and perish.
I digest fantasy and sci-fi literature and TV/movies like there is no tomorrow. As a younger adult I thought that I was not "into" fantasy because I was "cool" but as I have matured I have realised my favourites are LOTR (I read these in primary school pre-movies being made), The Hobbit (again in primary school and I've even seen the staged puppet show), Harry Potter and ACOTAR. I now embrace the fact that I am a nerd through and through and have delved into the world of Fan Fiction.
I have a pretty serious, full on (mentally) job so tend to steer clear of watching the news, reading non-fiction (unless it is scholarly, peer reviewed journal articles) and anything that doesn't have at least a little bit of romance in it.
I am a huge fan of the Fangasm Podcast (originally The Potterotica Podcast) and credit the wonderful hosts of this pod with my escape into the Fan Fiction world.
While I enjoy dabbling with writing on here I LOVE beta-ing other people works and would be very interested in recording pod-pics if people will have me.
