Summary
Years have passed since the event the drones of Copper-9 call 'the Breaking'. Things are peaceful now. The worker drones have begun to expand their colony out into the old, abandoned city, and have been working on cleaning it up and making it useable for themselves. A council has been elected so the decisions aren't all made by one leader. They don't have to fear the murder drones anymore, because they've all joined as part of the colony and have promised to give protection to the worker drones they share the city with.
(Well, all except for one, but she hasn't been seen since the Breaking, so of course that dosen't really matter.)
But not all drones are as lucky. Sure, Outpost 3 is safe, but others are still being hunted. And a certain worker intends to do something about that. Uzi's plan would help to save their surrounding colonies, with very little risk to their own! Now, all she has to do is set it into motion with a scouting expedition to the nearest outpost.
Simple as that.
No complications.

Though, nothing good lasts forever.
Drones start to go missing, leaving no traces behind except the rabidly growing oil streaks collecting on the floor. Eventually, one of Tessa’s own personal drones goes missing, leaving her friends clueless as to where she went. As they scramble to find her, they wonder if they’ll ever see her again. Perhaps, it would be better if they didn’t.
