The restaurant was quite for the afternoon. Well sort of.. Occasionally there was a loud squelch sound coming from the rag They were holding as they wiped down the front glass to the restraunt. The overwelming chemical smell, from wiping down the windows, was mixing with the smell of dough. "Days like this makes me hate working here" they think to themselves. The mix of smells clingy heavily to the air making it feel suffocating. just like when you swallow a really dry string and it gets stuck in your throat, it feels heavy and clogs your throat but no matter how much you swallow your saliva it won't go down.. It eventually gets to the point they set down the cleaning stuff with a soft thud taking a step outside, the fresh air feels good to their lungs unlike the previous scent.. Infact that stupid scent could go on your list of scents you hate but that would be the 263rd one you've put down.. You walk forwards going to turn to the right to sit down at that table..you zone out seeing bird shit on the table you've probably cleaned off about a thousand times already. "Stupid fucking birds shiting on the table again" you groan under your breath.

And for some reason, he thought that this would change when he finally pulled the trigger. That his weak legs would collapse under the stress and his constant running would finally sputter to a stop. That he'd finally be able to take a full breath of air that he hadn't been able to take in years. That, at the end of it all, Medkit would be able to look back at the enemy chasing him, and finally know peace as he meets its eyes. He had assumed that death was the only thing he wouldn't run from.
Medkit slowly lowered the revolver from his head and he let himself stare at the now smoking gun, his hand fuzzy from the harsh recoil.
Even with no bullets, he couldn't help but notice himself hesitate.
Medkit let out a humorless laugh amidst the dancing specks of gunpowder.”
No bullets. One revolver. Six shots. This is how a night that would make Medkits life far more complicated than it ever needed to be started off.

Medkit didn't know how banhammer even knew Medkit was beat, maybe he could smell the blood, or he could hear the breathing that was jagged and winded.
