This story takes place in an alternate world where the American Civil War ended in an armistice and a subsequent on-and-off Cold War. The overall plot revolves around five wealthy and powerful Confederates sequestering themselves at a massive estate with a number of victims and accomplices.
The first part revolves around the process and preparations of orchestrating the abduction of victims and the recruitment of accomplices, willingly or not, as the preparatory step for the upcoming debauched festivities.
