Summary
MC has joined the RFA as Rika's assistant, and to celebrate the first party going successfully, the RFA goes on an ill-fated trip to V's lakehouse. Rika and Saeran disappear, but their bodies are never found.
After a month goes by with no sign of them, a funeral is planned, and the RFA decides to try and go on without them. However, not everybody believes that Rika and Saeran are really dead.

He did not need to get ridiculed by his drunken friends for his habits, or open the incognito browser in bed instead of passing out, and he certainly did not need to find a porn video starring his best friend since childhood. The part about getting aroused from the video, though — that might have been out of his control.

He's dead. Jumin's best friend has just been shot dead, and now everyone has left the funeral except Jumin. The sun was shining. A mockery of the overwhelming sorrow he feels in his heart. Alone at the grave, Jumin sits quietly.
20 years had passed. They could've had more. But it was too late. Jumin couldn't take it anymore. He cried. His lips touch the cold stone, landing on the picture of Jihyun, right on the lips. So cold and so lifeless.

For Jihyun's fifteenth birthday, Jumin bought him a camera. He knew Jihyun had already tried out a few, having purchased them with his own allowance, but Jumin just didn't know what else to get him. He was always bad at those sorts of things. That's why he started the process extra early, just in case he needed the added time to get things just right.
This fic was written as a backstory of Jumin and V for a roleplay with friends, but then it consumed my mind so I decided to post it, and now I am inspired to write so much more about these two.

After Saeran and V were lost in the explosion, they were discovered several days later with burns, and V with a massive head injury. He had completely lost his sight; the RFA members were restless. He was in a coma for a month, and in that time, Saeran healed and came around to the members; he sought redemption. Yoosung offered to house him because of the tension with the others, and Jumin spent close to all of his time at the hospital, where his childhood friend was resting peacefully.
