Kojiro can feel the warmth of Kaoru’s skin against his. The shorter man’s lips are soft, the small metal ring in his lip a cold contrast where it brushes against Kojiro’s cheek. His fingers tangle in sakura-colored locks as he works the hair tie out of his boyfriend’s hair. That’s when Kaoru playfully shoves him away, knocking him off balance. They both stumble and laugh, Kaoru grabbing for the hair tie and Kojiro dodging.
He takes off running and Kaoru follows after, finally snagging the elastic and giving Kojiro another playful shove once he catches up. Kojiro’s strong arms wrap around him, dragging him down into the soft grass. He can’t stop the laughter that bubbles up in his throat at the scowl Kaoru gives him.
