Summary
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that Will Graham, owner of a house with a large forest as his backyard, needs dogs. And yes, it's true he has seven, but in his professional opinion, this number is still below double digits. As a man without a partner, children, siblings, or parents, he sees no problem in dedicating all his hard-earned money to spoiling his puppies.
Thus, the fucked up situation he finds himself in is directly related to that need: everything begins when he sees him: a mixed-breed dog, with a coat of mixed colors featuring brown, black, and white spots; ears that fold forward; and large, playful black eyes. The problem is that the adorable dog isn't a stray. He has an owner.
So, need gives way to plan, and Will will never regret pretending to be in a romantic relationship with Dr. Lecter. Yes, as you hear.

Summary
Days upon days were spent in a disquieted state, fitfully watching over his omega. Breathing in the sickly saccharine smell of his fever, redolent of caramel; the alarming smell of his distress, sweet like cherries, and his own fear.
Now, Will’s condition had considerably improved, and Hannibal had an extremely clingy and needy omega glued to his arm full time.
Will is gravelly injured after the Fall, and is nursed back to health by purebred Alpha Hannibal. But he just can't help needing Hannibal 24/7.

Summary
It was all Will's fault for being overconfident, too trusting, thinking of himself as smarter than Hannibal — he should have known that he was playing with fire and that he'd get burned eventually.
It was only fair to die when unnecessarily provoking a predator, Will knew that now but he should have known it before.
He should have, should have, should have — he should have thought better than to be vulnerable, than to lower his guard and invite the devil in his own abode and now he was fucked.
He was utterly fucked beyond saving.
