An illustrated entry for Live Journal's Reel Merlin 8: 11 pieces of traditional art using coloured pencils.
Arthur Pendragon is the king of the campus at Camelot College. His popular but narcissistic girlfriend Vivian ditches him six weeks before graduation. Although bitter over the break-up, Arthur consoles himself by claiming that Vivian is replaceable by anyone from the school. Arthur’s friend Gwaine disagrees and challenges him to a bet on whether Arthur can turn any random person into someone worthy of an invite to Elena Godwyn’s exclusive end of term party. The coveted invitations only go out to the most popular students. Gwaine picks out Merlin - an awkward, solitary, unpopular art student - as his choice for Arthur.
Inspired by the film prompt, She’s All That (1999).
