Aizawa just could not believe what he just heard, Izuku who has been training under him for almost a year now has a quirk a late bloomer for sure, most people receives a quirk at age 5 and he is 6 and a half. For his quirk to be an actual element quirk not a type of variation of a element mean that he can basically do anything with it. "You have a quirk now? How did you find out you have an air quirk?" asked Aizawa as his thoughts were getting out of control with all of the possibility's Izuku now has, not that he didn't have any before his stealth and analyzing skills have gone through the roof since I took him on as my student. "Yeah I have a quirk now, I just found out by Kacchan shoving me into a...... pond except instead of falling in the ponds water I was floating over it and rode the air to the safety of land but all in all it was fun." Izuku said as he walk to Aizawa by solidifying the air to make it look like he was walking on nothing. Aizawa was brought out of his thoughts when Izuku started to talk was shocked when he saw Izuku walking on air but the only indication that he was shocked was the slight widening of eyes which of course Izuku saw since he gave a wicked grin, Aizawa was shook his head thinking he was to to good of a teacher or Izuku got to know him to much that he knew how to read him.
Aizawa had Izuku running 10 laps around the entire warehouse which is 16 miles, Izuku thought he was mainly being salty because Izuku read him since he normal had him run 5 laps around the warehouse not that he would ever say anything about it. After he finished the laps Aizawa had him work on his stealth by having a noise amplifier on the ground so if he put too much pressure on the ground where he stepped it would go off, Aizawa set it on hard since he already passed easy, moderate, normal and close to passing hard. This is a training where Izuku could not use his quirk and had to do it for an hour straight without making any or very minimal noise. Once Izuku finished that his next task was to see all of what he could come up with to use his quirk, so Izuku went outside solidified the air and used it as steps to the roof which he did climb and stood of the roof. When Aizawa saw this he then made an air slide and jumped and nearly gave Aizawa a heart attack since he was not expecting that and was in the process of grabbing his scarf that he carried everywhere and was about to throw it at Izuku until he saw him actually sliding down the air. Aizawa then started to walk towards the problem child when he ran into something solid but he didn't see anything he ran into when he turned the side it happened again turned again still happened so the child had him boxed in plain air, Aizawa tried to throw his scarf up and over the wall type thing only for it to go up up up and down it goes that plan didn't work either. Izuku could not contain his laughter anymore so he burst out laughing "I'm sorry Aizawa sensei but you did tell me to see all the things I could come up with in using my quirk and I thought about if there was a villain trying to get away how to use the air against them but i'm not going to use my second thought on you that one was limiting the air around them until they pass-out." Izuku said as he took down the barriers around Aizawa. "So you basically used me as a testing dummy okay, but don't ever do that to me again without telling me somehow that stunt you pulled with jumping off the roof you do know we can not see the air your using so it's terrifying seeing you jump." Aizawa said as went up to Izuku and gave him a hug to make sure he is okay.
After Izuku was sent home with homework of analyzing every quirk in his class without any names of the people just what type of quirk it is, the homework is he had 45 seconds to voice record every thing he could come up with of the uses of the quirk, how to strengthen the quirk and the weaknesses of that quirk and he has to do this for 20 students, and of course with Izuku being Izuku he finished that homework the same night he got it even though its not due for two days (his analyzing homework is every other day). With it being a Friday his mom should be home by now as it is 8:30 pm and she gets off at 6 pm, so he headed to the kitchen but shes not there or in her room so he grabs his phone and calls her but it doesn't even ring like it was turned off of the battery is dead. His mom would normally call if she was going to be late to the house but there was no calls or text messages or anything so Izuku did the only thing he could think of he called Aizawa.
Aizawa was startled out of his sleep when he heard his phone ring he looked over and saw that problem child was calling "Hello problem child, is there a problem?" Aizawa said once he answered the phone. "Yes Aizawa sensei my moms not at the house she would normally call or message if she is going to be late but there is none... and she got off 2 hours and 35 minutes ago. I tried to call her but it just went dead as if it was turned off or battery was gone but she hardly uses her phone enough for it to die at work when she just charged it this morning." Izuku said crying over the phone. Aizawa was not expecting this when Izuku called, Inko was a person him and his husband Hizashi Yamada has gotten close to when Aizawa was just starting to train Izuku he had to get parental permission which Inko did agree to they started to become friends and Yamada found out I had a private student it him weeks to convince me to take him to meet Izuku and by extension his mom and Inko being kindhearted had them over for meals often "It's okay Izuku we'll find her." Aizawa said as he sprinted out to door and hanging up.
After looking almost nonstop for 2 days it was found out that Inko had been kidnapped by her husband who had left the area last night so with searching every possible area they finally found Midoriya Inko but not whole she was missing an arm and and leg, and had wounds all over her, Aizawa called to police and told them they found Midoriya Inko's body in some pieces, so once the police arrived they covered the body to be brought in.
Aizawa was not looking forward to this call not at all he doesn't want to tell Izuku who they been checking on since they found out about his mom being missing but he had to know so with that he called Izuku. At the first ring Izuku answered "Hello?" Izuku said voice still thick with tears. Aizawa took a deep breath "Izuku we found her but we were too late she was dumped in the woods." Aizawa said as he heard Izuku screaming No! nono WHY?!! Aizawa had tears down his face as he said "We will be over to pick you up in 15 minutes." This time he kept the line on as drove over to the house all the while listening to Izuku crying and packing.
A few days later they went to listen to Inko's will which she changed at some point since in the will it said if anything were to happen to her Izuku is to go to Yamazawa household which they were all to happy to adopt Izuku who they have been thinking as a son for some time now.
Its been 4 months since Inko's death, Izuku has made leaps and bounds with getting to know how to use his quirk and with his physical training he still has bouts when he cries that she gone and when these days come he crawls in bed with Dad and Papa (dad being Aizawa and papa being Yamada) who both puts their arms around him saying it will be okay it okay to miss someone who is no longer here with us.
While going to school Izuku saw Kacchan "Hey Kacchan." Izuku yelled out running up to him after the pond incident when they found out Izuku had a quirk they got along again after Kacchan explained to him that he only did bullied him in a misguided attempt to get him to fight back if he really wanted to be a hero he had to actually work for it not just dream and not back up that dream by not learning even though he was learning how to do things he wasn't doing using it against people who either hurt him or just mentally bully him. "Hey Zuku hows the quirk training going?" Kacchan asked as he bumped shoulders with Zuku. "Its been going great I can solidify the around any part of my body so if I get hit I won't feel anything it would be like hitting a brick wall or I can use it to hit something and it would made a great big hole. I can also solidify the air sit on it and made the wind push it to make it look like I'm flying. See" Izuku said as he did just as he said he would do. Kacchan's jaw dropped "could you do it with someone with you, like if you were on a rescue mission could you pick someone else up?" Kacchan asked as he watched Izuku go around him. Without any warning Izuku stopped grabbed Kacchan and solidify to air under him had him sit and connect both of the solidified air together and had the wind push them all the way to school "It looks like I can." Izuku said as he watched Kacchan process what he did. "Warn me next time Zuku." Kacchan said as he stomped to their next class. Izuku couldn't help but laugh as he joined Kacchan in the classroom.
Once school ended Izuku rode the wind back to the house he learned that with all of the physical and quirk training it allows him to use his quirk far longer then the kids in his class that only could use it for a couple of minutes tops while his allows him to use it for around 40 minutes at once probable since he pushes past him limit to have his limit slowly increase, though he is not looking forward to next year since that's the age you were your not supposed to use quirks in public at least even though he knows he can defend himself without the use of his quirk he still doesn't want to not be able to use his quirk that he had for far less time everyone else in his grade, once Dad changed his quirkless status at the school people stopped bullying him and started to fear him since he went from quirkless to have an extremely powerful quirk its like they expect him to hurt them the same way they hurt him but that's impossible he would never swoop to their level and he has always wanted to be a hero what kind of hero would he be if he goes around hurting everyone that hurt him, it would be what a villain would do and that's not the type of future he wants to for himself, he wants to be someone who saves as much people he can not hurt as much people who as hurt him, its not what he wants and it's not what his mom would have wanted for him.
