Chapter 36: Three Sentence Requests

Summary:

Three Sentence requests from tumblr, ft KagaKise

Chapter Text

KagaAo: Kagami is a journalist, Aomine is a famous basketball player.
Musical inspiration! Poet - Bastille

There was something secretive about Aomine Daiki that left many questions unanswered, both in interviews staged by the biggest sports stations in the country and in the pages of Kagami Taiga’s articles, something that Kagami himself already had the answers to because the words he wrote in his articles, which were so short in nature, they left everything about Aomine’s personal life to the imagination because those articles were the only words that the public needed to remember him by.

However, as Aomine’s back bowed beneath him, his voice wavering as Kagami rocked into him, Kagami knew that the words he engraved into Aomine’s heart were the only words that truly mattered.

The words of eternal promises that could never be erased.

Aomine usually taught very valuable lessons to those who thought it’d be funny to steal from him or lie to him because in this world, he was the one who made the rules and he was the who ordered punishment and praise along with his right hand man, Kagami Taiga, a ruthless, cutthroat son of a bitch who pulled no punches with those who dared fucked with the order they had put in place.

So as the unfortunate thief groveled at their feet, swearing on his grave that he hadn’t sabotaged their recent drug drop, Aomine didn’t need to say anything and left the decision to Kagami, showing that his reign was incomplete without Kagami by his side.

With the cold barrel of Kagami’s gun pressed directly between his eyes, the thief’s pleas for remorse were silenced by the smallest twitch of Kagami’s finger.

AoKaga - Samurai AU

They’ve fought in many wars in which they’ve lost what they’ve loved and defended what they’d treasured despite the fear of leaving for battle and not returning home to embrace each other again, despite the searing pain of a blade slicing through their skin or the misery of watching a comrade fall with blood pooling at their feet, tears in their eyes, and regrets bubbling in their throats.

Together they stood on the field, staring death in the face as their companions fell one by one, painting the battle with a sea of red that washed over them, reminding them that this is the life they had chosen, a life of death, a life they lived on borrowed time.

However, as the empire descended in a loud cry of victory, ready to eliminate the few who remained in the opposition, Aomine could see in the deep red eyes of the man beside him that Kagami had no regrets about the life they chosen and in his resolve, Aomine found his own because there was no way he could fear death when his life was standing next to him.

KagaKise, AU: burglars

"Can you please explain to me the reason you decided to takethat, of all the things that family had, you decided to steal that?”

Running sinfully long fingers along the contours of the cool, golden necklace with the deep purple alexandrite gem glistening in a heart shaped pendant around his neck, Kise turned his honey colored gaze towards Kagami, his lover and partner in crime, who was currently trying to keep his gaze on the road and off of the dazzling young man sitting next to him, and smiled, leaning back against the warm leather seats as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Because it’s my birthday and I wanted it."
