A YEAR LATER
Oliver still miserable after Felicity leaved, without saying goodbye, or showing up at their date. He focused at his gym, he let his beard grow, looking a lot different, from who he was a year back.
Donna give him Felicity’s new number and address, he stair at the paper every week trying to create courage to call her. But he is always asking someone close to them how she is.
“Hey Oliver how are you today?” Diggle asked.
“I’m good Dig”
“Are you sure”
“Yes like every other day that you asked me the same question” Oliver says annoyed.
“Look man I know you don’t like to talk about, but you should go visit her, you know that she didn’t that on purpose”
“I know Digg I just…”
“You look horrible!”
“Wow thank you Digg” Oliver says smiling.
“I’m serious Oliver, I can take care of here for you, you know that!”
“I’ll think about it I promise”
“Alright man!”
AT LANCE’S HOUSE
Donna’s phone rings. “Hey baby girl, how are you?”
“Hi mom, I’m good, how are things over there?” she asks in the other side of the line.
“It’s great” she responds. “So… Oliver asked for you again”
“Mom, you know if he wanted to know about me he would have called”
“He is upset babe, you should call him”
“It’s been a year, and he knows why I didn’t say goodbye” she says also upset “and I called him, and he didn’t answer me”
“Okay I know, and I told him, but he is always grumpy, hot, but grumpy”
“Mom!” Felicity yelled.
“What? I have eyes Felicity” she says laughing “I’m serious he is so hot, he stooped shaving, and he has his hair shaved, he also working out a lot”
“Okay I got it mom, can you please stop talking about how he looks”
“Fine, but don’t worry I love Quentin”
“I know mom it’s not because of that” Felicity says.
“So are you calling him?” Donna says with hope.
“No mom I’m not, look I have to go, I love you, call you later”
“Love you to babe, bye!” Donna hangs up.
A WEEK LATER
“Hey man can I talk to you” Oliver asks Digg.
“Of course you can”
“I think I’m taking your advice” he says looking at Digg.
“Finally!” Diggle yelled.
“I mean, she is eighteen already, and is not going to be a problem if I stay a few days away from here right?”
“Of course not, you need to talk to her, both of you deserve this”
“Thanks Digg” he gives him a hug.
LATER THAT DAY AT THE LANCE’S
“Hey Oliver, is everything alright” Donna ask when she sees him.
“I want to ask for a favor” he says sitting in the living room.
“Hey Ollie!” Sara kisses his cheek.
“Hi! Sara how are you?” he ask.
“I’m great” she smile at him.
“Nyssa told me that accept our offer to work at the foundry, I appreciate that, we are going to love having you there”
“Oh thanks Ollie, I am really happy with the opportunity” she says, “so what brings you here?”
“Yes! Donna!” He says remembering why he was there.
“So what’s the favor?” she asks.
“I decided to visit Felicity”
“No way, are you kidding” Sara says incredulous.
“I’m serious” he says as Donna goes as his direction and hugs him.
“Oh my god, why took you so long” she ask.
“I was really bad when she left, and was everything so recent, so I decided to think a lot about it in this time, and wait for her to be eighteen”
“I understand you” Donna says to him.
“I love you daughter so much! I can’t take this anymore I have to see her. I mean if she still in love with me, and doesn't have a boyfriend” he laughs a little.
“I can assure you that she doesn’t have, actually I think she is still waiting for you to call her”
“Are you sure?” he asks.
“Yes I am” she holds his hand. “So what can I do for you?”
“Well I want you to first keep secret, don’t tell her I’m going”
“Okay we are not telling her don’t worry!” she says and Sara nod at them.
“And I was hoping you had her schedule”
“Uhm oh honey I don’t think I have that” she says a little sad.
“Oh wait! I think I have! Just a minute” Sara says running upstairs.
She comes back with her phone “here I knew I have it, I’m going to send to you”
“Thank you Sara, you saved me” he gives a hug “and you too Donna, wish me luck” he hug Donna, and leaves with both saying good luck to him.
AT THE QUEEN’S MANOR
Oliver is packing his bag when Thea enter his room. “Are you going to travel?”
“Yes I am!” he says smiling knowing how she is going to react when he says where he is going.
“Can I ask where are you going?”
“You may ask! I am going to make a surprise to Felicity” he smiles at her.
“Oh my god!” she jump at him hugging “tell her I miss her so much”
“I thought you both talked everyday in the phone” he says hugging her back.
“We talk but its different”
“Okay I’ll tell her, but hey you can’t tell her I'm going alright?”
“Don’t worry dear brother!”
A WEEK LATER
Oliver it’s already in Boston, he settled there, and decides to wait for the perfect time to surprise her, making everyone freak out at Starling.
The day has come, he rented a nice motorcycle, he park in front of her university, and decide to wait for her there. The construction has a beautiful entrance ladder, which makes him have a perfect view, of everyone who is going out of the building.
He hopes she recognize him, he changed a lot since he last saw her, but he is pretty sure her mother filled her in.
He can fell the groups of girls standing at the ladder staring at him.
It doesn’t take long for his eyes met hers.
Felicity is going out of class, going to the entrance of the building to meet her friends, she has no problem making new friends, but she misses a lot her family at Starling.
She sees that the group of girls is euphoric “Hey, what is happening?” she asks soon as she reaches them.
“We are making a bet” Jess one of the girls say.
“What kind of bet” Felicity asks.
“See in there in the street, that hot guy in the motorcycle he is parked there looking up here for a long time”
Felicity looks down looking for the guy that they describe when she finds him and they eyes meet. She can't help but smile she knows so well those eyes.
“Alright how this bet is working?”
“Everyone its betting 10 dollars, who gets to kiss him first takes the money”
“I’m in!” she says staring at him.
Oliver looked her confused as she talks with the group not taking her eyes from him. He decides to wait, when he sees one of the girls coming at his direction.
“Hey, I’m Amber, you look pretty lost in here” she says trying to flirt with him.
“Uhm Nice to meet you Amber, I appreciate your concern, but actually I’m waiting for someone”
“Oh all right, well if don’t find this person, I’m up there, you can ask me anything”
“Thank you!”
“So how it goes?” the group asked her.
“He seems pretty serious, he looks even more beautiful when you are close, he has a deep voice, and I think I’m in love with him” they all laugh “but seriously he didn’t say his name, and he is waiting for someone”
After that Oliver receives the visit of two more girls, and he keep looking at Felicity’s direction confused.
“Okay Felicity it’s your turn now” the girls cheer.
“Wish me luck” she says going at Oliver direction.
“Hi!” he says when she reaches him.
“Hi!” she says smiling.
They stare at each for awhile “so can you tell me why your friends start to come here talk with me” he says teasing.
“uhm well…” she laughs they are making a bet, who gets to kiss you first wins.
“Are you participating?” he asks.
“Of course I am, I can’t lose the opportunity of kissing Oliver Queen” she winks at him.
He's leaning against the bike, then he pushes her by her jeans, bringing her close “I missed you” he says.
“I missed you too” she says putting her hands at his face “I’m in love with your beard” she says caressing his beard.
“You didn’t see anything yet” he says smirking.
“I can’t wait to see”
“Wow your friends are looking at here in completely shock” he says laughing.
“I don’t care about them”
With that Oliver kisses her, she put her hands around his neck, smiling in the kiss.
“Why took you so long?” she ask smiling at him, as she heard her friend approaching them.
“I'll ask myself that every day.” He laughs and kiss her again.
