The silence between them was not noticeable since the teacher was speaking, and some classmates were whispering to eachother too. ".. I mean.. Sure. I'll see you around.. Uh. Can you come pick me up?" Uzi blurted, wanting N to come pick her up. She knew he was a vampire, so that meant he probably was fast. N turned his head torwards Uzi, focusing on her now rather then the lesson. He noticed a change in her looks, her eyes looked less obsidian colored and way more purple colored now. Her hair still had those slightly purple colored ends, and it made her look prettier afterall. He was mesmerized by her looks, forgetting to even reply to her, her eyes looked so charming, like they were real amethysts, almost as if her eyes weren't even real, he snapped back from reality, his eyes beginning to blink again.
"Are you okay, dude? The lesson just finished and we were awkwardly staring at eachother for like 20 minutes." Uzi snorted, amused how N was distracted by just staring at her. She closed her eyes, trying not to laugh again. She got up from the seat, walking out the class. "I have Geography class, you coming?" Uzi raised an eyebrow, wanting to make sure that N had the same class as she had like today. They always had the same classes everyday, but only 3-2 lessons. "Biscuits! I have Biology class! I guess I'll see you tonight?" N was a little frustrated, he wanted to stare at her at like half of the class and admire her looks. It wasn't a crush thing or anything, he told himself that.
He was sure he didn't have any romantic feelings for him, and he guessed Uzi didn't have those aswell for him. "... Alright. Don't forget to come pick me up, N. Dork vampire." Uzi murmured the last words to herself, hoping he didn't atleast hear that. She was still a little scared from what happened yesterday, the near death experience, the way they almost killed eachother in that short second with their combat skills was still horrifying to her. Just what the hell was she doing hanging out with him still? There was something about him.. And it was a feeling she felt, she wasn't completely sure of what it was that she felt. "Sure! I'll be there around 8 PM, or earlier!" N chirped, happy that he knew he could still hang out with her. Even though they almost annihilated eachother yesterday night, it was just a thing between them. He remembered how her eyes glew purple back there when he had his tail ready to inject it's acid into her neck, they were so pretty like that. They both nodded at eachother, N happily waved and walked away upstairs to the Biology class he had, and Uzi walked further into another hall on the second floor where her Geography class was. She stopped near a corner, dropping down and starting to blush heavily. Her face was all red now. "WHY THE HELL WAS HE STARING AT ME WITH NO REPLY AFTER I ASKED THAT?!" Uzi screamed in her mind, being so confused as to why the hell he was gazing at her like a love-struck dumbass. She was worried she said something wrong, or she upset him. She got up again, trying to regain her composure for next class. She walked again, praying to God that Lizzy wasn't in it. That blonde idiot deserved to choke on air.
Maybe she could be her next target? She wondered to herself what she would do with Lizzy's flesh or her insides. Maybe make some stew? Curry? Freeze her blood into some popsicles she could gladly eat? She walked up to the classroom's door, opening it and earning some stares from students. She sat down at the back of the class, going back to thinking what she could do with N today, the teacher didn't even bother to yell at her for being a bit late to class, and she didn't care aswell. Suddenly a crumbled piece of paper hit her arm, falling down onto her desk. She opened it, reading what was wrote on it.
'Late again, Uzi? Were you making out with your imaginary non-existent boyfriend? -Lizzy'
Uzi threw the crumbled piece of paper back at Lizzy, and it hit her right on the face. Lizzy let out a audible faint 'Umph!' from the hit, and almost fell from her seat in the process. She looked a bit concerned after almost falling face-first, and Uzi smirked at this. She went back to thinking what to do today with N, staring at the wall and not paying attention to anything the teacher said. 40 minutes passed, and the bell rang indicating the end of the day. Finally. She groaned, getting up from her seat quickly and grabbing her.. Wait. Where was her schoolbag. She forgot it in the class she had 1 hour ago. Uzi panicked a little, rushing out the classroom and pushing some of the students away. Some yelled and sweared at her, but she didn't care. She rushed through the halls, going back into the class she had. N was inside there.. He was looking out the window, not minding how her schoolbag was on the floor next to his leg. Uzi walked up behind him, and realising that his classes that she didn't have with her lasted less minutes so that explained why he was here. He was admiring the view outside, the day looked beautiful and just as equal as the night in Sunrise Neon City. Uzi was behind him now, grabbing her schoolbag and tapping him on his shoulder. N was surprised, frowning once he thought it was one of THOSE girls who were all hooked on chasing him.
He turned around, not expecting Uzi. She narrowed her eyes at him. "I'll get going, bye, N." Uzi murmured, starting to walk away to exit the class. N grabbed her hand before she could leave, and she looked back at him. "Uuhh?" Uzi was confused at this gesture from him. "I'll, I'll come pick you up tonight! And.. Can we make a promise?" N whined, nervous from what he was about to ask Uzi. Uzi looked at him, nodding slowly. "Sure.. What is it?" She asked sheepishly, still surprised. ".. Let's stop killing people, so we can atleast be at peace for a little, promise?" N exclaimed, his heart beating. He was worried about what she was about to say, but.. Uzi had no objections against him. If it meant to make themselves a little happy, then she would do it. The risk of organ failure on her behalf haunted her though. ".. Promise, N." Uzi sighed, pulling her hand away and waving at him. She walked out the class, wondering what the hell she should eat for dinner now. But she realised her and N would grab some food outside tonigh that they could share. Her stomach grumbled at the thought of some delicious street food. She hadn't eaten some since she was a kid.
N jumped out the window, landing on his feet in time. He had his school bag on his back, gripping it tightly with his hand. He walked out the gate, walking back home for now, and when he was out of sight for bypassers he could catch flight and fly back to his house. J and V recently got into clubs thanks to their friends at school, so they would arrive late. That meant he had the house to himself almost all day.
Uzi opened the frontdoor to her house, walking in. She was planning on to decide what she was gonna wear tonight and finally doing some homework today to pass the time. Uzi sighed, being tired. She began walking to her room, entering and taking off her clothes. She looked over at the mirror, and then over to her wardrobe. She scavenged, looking for some good clothes. She found a nice dress with a super dark black mixed with purple coloring and a white ribbon on the back, and her usual pink and purple stocking she wore on occasions where she went out. She smiled, starting to put them on. Uzi looked at herself in the mirror, her smile fading once she noticed the slight purple ends of her short hair, and her now back to obsidian colored eyes. Uzi began to put on some makeup, not too much, making sure it was light. She didn't put on lipstick though. She wanted to atleast make a good impression.
Uzi wasn't really fond of her looks, but she took good care of her own body. Uzi remembered how her mother had almost her same hairstyle, and her hair color was around as the same as hers, but a little bit more lighter. Uzi gave up on trying to do her homework, since she knew it wouldn't really be sufficient anyway. The teachers don't really give a fuck about her. She sighed, before she heard the doorbell ring. Uzi's heart dropped, and she rushed to the door. She opened it, and N was there ofcourse. He was wearing oddly elegant clothes, only what vampires would wear, she had to admit, he was pretty good-looking right now.
"Hey! Are you ready to go out, Uzi?" N beamed, giving a bright smile. Uzi nodded, not really happy that she was actually wearing makeup today, and this happened rarely. N gazed at her face, she looked pretty if he had to be honest. "Uh.. Yeah. But how are we gonna get there?" Uzi inquired, being curious as how they were gonna get there.
N began to stare blankly at her, before smiling again. He suddenly turned around and knelt down, being on his knee. "Grab on!" N chirped, and Uzi froze. Was he really trying to make her get on his back? N suddenly spread out his wings, leaving Uzi shocked. So those bastards could fly too? That's unfair. "YOU CAN FLY?!" Uzi yelled, shocked. N closed his left eye, not expecting her to yell out of nowhere. He nodded, "Yeah, just get on!" N said cheerfully. Uzi mumbled to herself, finding it very unfair. She got on his back, and he took flight. Uzi squealed, holding onto his back tighter. She closed her eyes shut, not really liking the feeling of herself not being able to touch the ground..
She opened them up again, suddenly enjoying the feeling of the wind brushing against her clothes and hair. N smiled at this, noticing how she held her hand up as if to touch the stars with her hand, it was an amazing beautiful sight. "Looks like we do the same things sometimes!" N said happily, before getting a light punch on the back of his head. "Don't mention that!" Uzi growled, not really comfortable that he might've brought up that whole cannibalism killing thing. "Sorry, sorry!" N whined, frowning. He flied down to the mall's rooftop, where he usually lands after he had finished flying his way to the city. Uzi got off his back, gazing at his wings and touching them gently with her hand, N felt surprised at the sudden touch. Uzi liked how they almost were bat-like. Even though she loved crows.
N stood up, suddenly shaking his wings to get rid of any dusts or anything that got on them while flying. Uzi yanked her hand away, not expecting him to do that movement with his wings. She felt a little bad, did she cause that? ".. Let's get going, N. Are we gonna go into the mall?" Uzi asked, not really knowing N's plan tonight for the both of them. N looked down at her, his wings going back into his back. He didn't have his tail out today, probably because he was stressing over what outfit he should've went with tonight.
N thought a little, before giving an answer. "I was thinking that we could go to the arcade in the mall, and shop some new clothes! Is that fine for you, Uzi?" N grinned. He didn't show his teeth, since he was insecure about them. Uzi looked up at him, blinking. "Yeah, odd question, but why did you go with that type of clothing?" Uzi pointed at his clothes with her hand, and he looked back down at her. "Oh! It's just what we Vampires are usually comfortable in. We only get this type of clothing gifted to us once we reach adulthood. I'm 20, not immortal or anything!" N answered probably all the questions she had for him, it was his pleasure to answer to whatever she said. ".. Riiight. You look.. Pretty nice in them." Uzi looked off to the city full of neon lights, which was near the huge mall they were on the rooftop of.
She was glad she lived near Sunrise Neon City, it was a beautiful city if she had to say the truth, but the light pollution was atrocious. N blushed a little at that compliment. "Really? You look pretty too, Uzi!" N replied back to her, throwing a compliment at her. Their hands subconsciously grabbed eachother and they held hands. Uzi began to sweat, she never held hands with a guy. Even a popular one! N was pretty well known throughout the whole school, and he had girls chasing all after him. They walked up to the stairs which led down to the highest level of the mall, which was the 4th. Uzi pulled her hand away once they went down the stairs.
"Let's head to the arcade then." Uzi mumbled, wanting to make N happy atleast. The look on his face brightened up, and he nodded multiple times quickly. Uzi smiled a little at his nodding, looking ahead and walking to the arcade. N followed behind her, and they both earned some stares and glancing by alot of bypassers. Uzi didn't notice at all, since she was busy thinking about what to do at the mall and in the city. N pointed at the arcade, putting his hand on Uzi's shoulder to make her look torwards it. "There!! Let's go there!" N beamed, almost jumping up and down like an excited child would do once his mother told him that he could have some candy. "Fine, fine. Let's go." Uzi replied, and they walked up to the arcade, entering. The fluorescent carpet was really pretty, and so was the place overall. N looked at her, and they both grinned at eachother. "Let's see who can get more points!" they both said to eachother. N walked off to the first arcade machine he saw, and Uzi rushed to another one. They were both trying their best to earn tickets, using their own money this time. Uzi was not really even trying, all those hours spent on gaming really payed off. While N was trying to outsmart the game itself and cheat. Uzi got a total of around 4800, and N got around 5100. Uzi wasn't really trying right now, since she knew she would 'win' against him. Uzi suddenly got hit by a bad stomach ache, and she nearly threw up right there. Damn it. She went a day without human flesh. This was bad.. She would solve it later, Uzi toughened up and ignored the stomach ache.
"I got 5100!" N beamed, happy to win. "Uffmph.. I got 4800.. Damn it." Uzi growled, being obviously mad. She didn't want to actually lose. N smiled at her, pointing to the nearby counter. "Let's see what we can get!" N chirped, walking up to the counter along with Uzi. They spoke to the cashier, and they could get some plushies. N chose a dog one ofcourse, and Uzi chose a cute bat one. It was rather small, but very adorable in her opinion. They were both very satisfied from what they did today, and N held onto that dog plushie alot.
".. Today was fun, I have to be honest." Uzi admitted, smiling. They walked down to the 3rd floor, planning to check out some shops now. N chuckled. "It's way beyond fun!" N beamed, clearly more happy then her.
Uzi felt a little horrible due to her stomach hurting like hell. Damn forced diet.. She knew at this point she could be risking a high fever and potential organ failure.. She would remember how her mother told her about the telekinetic powers they both possessed, it's downsides and upsides, she could remember that memory clear as day.. The white walls, closed windows, the white sheets, the hospital bed, how her mother was suffering. She always had those words of her warning her about the diet she would need to maintain in order to survive. It was haunting her in the back of her head eachday, she didn't want to remember further, not her mother's death.. Nori. Nori to be exact.
She heard a voice. She snapped back to reality.
"-.. You look a little pale, are you fine, Uzi?" N worryingly asked, looking at her face. Uzi glanced away, nodding quickly. "Yeah.. I feel a little sick, that's it." She insisted, wanting to atleast stay a little more. "You can go home if you'd like.. Did the flight cause this?" N worried more about her, and he looked at her, wanting to find out if she was okay. "I'm fine, N. Let's go." she kept on insisting, she wanted to do something for her sake today. Hang out a bit, with a literal Vampire friend.
".. You know.." N whispered, earning her attention.
