Jackson Wang - LMLY

There was absolutely no need for Jimin and Jungkook to be sitting as close as they had been in the backseat of Seokjin’s car. They were around the only people in Jeju who knew the reality of their relationship, and ideally, they could sit like two people who weren’t in a relationship would sit.

But there they were, sitting in the backseat of a Mercedes, thighs and arms touching as Jungkook whispered to Jimin and told him about all the places they drove by. Jungkook took Jimin’s hand in his, halfway through the ride. Jimin blushed when Jungkook stroked the back of his hand.

Of course, the two men seated up front noticed. And they weren’t known to keep quiet. At least, one of them wasn’t.

“What’s going on with you two?” Seokjin asked them, looking at Jungkook from the rear view mirror.

“What do you mean?” Jungkook asked.

“He doesn’t mean anything,” Namjoon answered for him. “Seokjin hyung just hasn’t had anything since breakfast and he’s irritable. That’s all. I would ignore him if I were you.”

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but chose to remain silent. Jimin understood what Seokjin was implying. And he was right. Jimin had realized his feelings for Jungkook, but he had no idea how Jungkook felt. To Seokjin and Namjoon, this was all fake, but to him it wasn’t.

He separated his and Jungkook’s intertwined hands and picked up his phone as an excuse to keep himself busy. If anyone else in the car felt the awkwardness in the air, they didn’t comment on it.

They’d reached the venue in the next couple of minutes and Seokjin handed the car over to the valet. The party was at a resort, and a very luxurious one it seemed like. The resort was beautiful and Jimin could hear bass thumping music coming from somewhere. They entered the reception area of the resort and Soekjin led the three men to the garden where a huge DJ setup was. There were not too many people around, the party wasn’t a festival or a concert after all, but there were enough people that Jimin knew this wasn’t a small event.

The hotel had a private beach where the party was held. Jimin tried to listen to the sound of the waves but he couldn’t hear much over the sound of the music. It was a party hosted by an EDM DJ, Namjoon had told him. Jimin enjoyed parties, all kinds of them, so he was excited to be there. He could feel the ocean breeze and the salty tang in the air, he only wished he could come here during the day, when he could actually see the beach.

“We have a booth booked at the back,” Seokjin shouted at them over the music. “It’s a little quieter there, but still close to the dance floor.”

The boys nodded and followed Seokjin towards the booth. Jimin saw how the strobe lights cut across the crowd and noticed the throngs of people dancing with each other. He smiled, Taehyung would have loved this place. There were alternating coloured lights all over the venue, and since it was an open place, there were large speakers everywhere.

Jimin was walking with the boys but his entire attention was on the dance floor. Well, calling it a dance floor would be an understatement considering that it was on the beach and there were about 150 people dancing there.

He didn’t realize when a hand slid into his and tugged at him. He turned to look at Jungkook softly smiling at him.

Jungkook walked closer to him and brought his lips to Jimin’s ear. “Let’s get seated and then you can come back and dance, okay?” he yelled.

Jimin nodded at him and decided to be led away by the older man. The booth was more of an open tent instead of the restaurant booth that had popped into Jimin’s head.

The men walked into the dark blue open tent structure and Jimin noticed about 7 people already in there. There was a large couch that faced the opening of the tent, which opened to the party. There were about 10 tents of the same type in total, Jimin noticed, all in a large semicircle, bordering on the edge of the concert. This was the VIP section.

Seokjin, Namjoon and Jungkook greeted all the people in the club, and Jungkook introduced Jimin to them all. There were music executives, chefs, entrepreneurs, and other socialites from all over South Korea who had been invited to the event. They all looked to be about Jungkook’s age and although they were a bit snooty, they welcomed Jimin.

The tent had a food table filled with appetizers and some drinks. Jimin noticed how a concierge stood at the entrance of every tent. He knew that anything he would want to eat, drink, either on the menu or off, would be given to him on a silver platter here. Jimin smiled, maybe he could get used to this life.

Jimin moved towards the front of the tent, listening to the music the DJ was playing and looking over at the crowd when he felt someone near him.

“Don’t let hyung get into your head, please,” Namjoon told him. “He just thinks you’re both being idiots and you should just tell each other what you’re really feeling.”

Jimin cleared his throat. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not really feeling anything.”

“Keep lying to Jungkook, Jimin-ah,” Namjoon said, and smiled. “I can see right through you two. Both Jin hyung and I can.”

Jimin kept quiet. He didn't want to get too excited when he had just about come to terms with what he was feeling. He didn't want to think about Jungkook’s feelings and get confused.

“All I’m saying is that if you’re feeling something, act on it,” Namjoon said and Jimin turned to look at him. Namjoon was staring at the crowd as well, nursing a whiskey in his hand. “Jungkook’s a little slow when it comes to these things, but when he falls, he falls hard. And he gives it his all. I’m just saying that you might have to make the first move when it comes to him.”

Jimin smiled. “I’ll think about it.”

Namjoon laughed and patted him on the shoulder. “Fine. I’ve done my bit. Now it's up to you. Let's go get you a drink.”

The two men walked to the bar and Jimin got himself a pina colada. He spoke to Namjoon about Rkive and Namjoon asked him about Studio Kkum. Jimin realized why Jungkook loved Namjoon so much. It was so easy to talk to him, and he was always interested in everything Jimin said and that made him want to only sit with him and talk to him all night.

Of course, it seemed like Jungkook felt otherwise.

He had been busy talking to some of the business executives on the other side of the tent but slowly made his way to where Jimin and Namjoon were standing near the front of the tent. Jimin hadn't actually seen him move, but Namjoon had his eyes on Jungkook, providing a play by play of Jungkook’s movement to Jimin, making him giggle. Jimin blushed when a hand snaked itself around his waist and Namjoon smirked knowingly at him before excusing himself.

Jimin sipped on his drink and Jungkook asked, “Was Namjoon hyung annoying you?”

Jiming shook his head quickly. “Not at all,” he said. “I actually really like talking to him. He is so smart, and he knows so much about so much. I feel like I could talk to him the entire night and not get bored.”

Jungkook stiffened and Jimin schooled the thoughts in his mind which told him that Jungkook was jealous.

“You can talk to me instead,” Jungkook said and Jimin felt his heart do a little flip.

“Are you jealous that someone else had my attention, hyung?” Jimin asked, looking at Jungkook and winking at him.

“And what if I was?”

Jimin inhaled sharply. He blinked a few times before looking away. Jungkook’s arm never left his waist, it only tightened around him and Jimin placed his head on Jungkook’s shoulder.

“Jungkook-ssi,” he sighed. “We’re toeing a very thin line, here.”

He felt Jungkook inhale. “I know,” he said. “I - uh.. I - we should talk, right? We should talk.”

Jimin nodded. “We really should. Before we do anything, we should talk.”

“Tonight, then?” Jungkook said. “Once we go home?”

Jimin pulled away to look at him and nodded. He bit his lip to hide the excitement he felt. “Tonight,” he smiled.

“Boys!” Jimin heard Seokjin call them and turned towards him. “We have shrimp cocktails!”

Jimin smiled and led Jungkook by the arm to where Seokjin and Namjoon were standing - shrimp cocktails in their hands. He took some from them and ate a few pieces of shrimp, feeding Jungkook some as well and Jungkook looked like he was basking in the attention that Jimin was showering upon him.

Jungkook was beautiful, he looked even more beautiful at this very moment. He looked relaxed, almost carefree, and so happy. He made jokes with Seokjin about some of the investors and made sure to tell Jimin the backstory behind them. He always included Jimin in the stories he shared with his friends and made Jimin feel like a part of their group, even though it had only been a few weeks since Jimin had met them.

“Do you want to dance, Jimin-ah?” Namjoon asked him when Seokjin and Jungkook had gone to get a drink.

“I really do, hyung,” Jimin answered. He was a little tipsy, and very happy. He let himself be dragged by Namjoon onto the dancefloor and the two men jumped as a dance pop track played on in the background.

Jimin loved this feeling. He loved feeling like anything was possible and anything could happen. The salty sea breeze brushed through his hair and he could feel beads of sweat forming on his forehead. But Namjoon was laughing in front of him and doing a body wave with more than necessary enthusiasm and Jimin was laughing, loving every second of it.

Seokjin joined them a few seconds later. The song was the same, the bridge making its way to the chorus and Seokjin grabbed on to one of Jimin’s and one of Namjoon’s hands and twirled them around to the beat of the music. Jimin laughed louder than he had the entire night. He twirled out of Seokjin’s hands, right into the arms of a waiting Jeon Jungkook.

The wind was blowing through Jungkook’s hair. He looked like he had just walked out of the front cover of GQ magazine. Jimin’s arms automatically came around his waist, as Jungkook’s arms circled Jimin’s back and shoulders. He looked up at Jungkook and sighed. If he wasn't already in love with him, he was for sure in love with him now.

Jungkook was looking at Jimin as though Jimin was the most beautiful thing that was ever created, as if he was the only human being on the planet. And if he was being a bit careless with his thoughts, Jimin thought that Jungkook looked at him like maybe he was in love with him too.

“You’re beautiful,” Jimin told him. “The most beautiful man I’ve ever seen.”

Jungkook inhaled sharply and the tips of his ears went red. Jimin noticed the bob of his Adam’s apple as he swallowed and how his pupils dilated.

Jungkook looked away from Jimin and yelled to Seokjin, “Hyung, how long until we can leave?”

Jimin felt his heart race at the seemingly innocent question. He turned to look at Seokjin.

“About an hour, or so. We have to keep up appearances, Kook!”

Jungkook and Jimin looked at each other. Jungkook cupped Jimin’s face in his hands and placed a soft kiss on his forehead. “One hour,” he whispered against Jimin’s skin. “Just one hour, okay, baby? And then it’ll just be you and me.”

Jimin bit his lip and nodded. “One hour.”

☆☆☆

That one hour, it seemed, was the longest hour in the history of humankind.

Jungkook and Jimin were glued to each other. Jimin felt like if he was away from Jungkook for even a few seconds, the bubble that they had built around themselves would burst. He didn't want to be away from Jungkook at all. Even Namjoon’s knowing glances and Seokjin’s teasing couldn't get the two of them to separate.

They were being really annoying, if you asked Seokjin. And although he might roll his eyes at them, he was secretly glad that Jungkook had found someone who looked at him the way he deserved. Plus, Jimin was a genuinely good person. He just wondered when they would drop their act and actually get around to confessing what they felt for each other.

They were sitting on one end of the couch - Jimin was busy showing Jungkook one of Taehyung’s paintings that the artist was going to be displaying at the upcoming exhibition. Jungkook had one arm draped around him, resting it on his waist. He was explaining to him the significance of the birth of a leaf, showing something so simple in the most profound sense. Jungkook was paying full attention to what Jimin was saying, and that was why they both failed to notice when someone walked into their tent.

“Kook!” they heard someone scream and whipped their heads in unison to where the voice came from.

Kim Yugyeom was standing by the entryway of the tent, dressed to the nines in a black blazer, black shirt and black slacks, making Jimin suddenly feel as though he was severely underdressed. He swallowed as Yugyeom made his way to where they were seated on the couch, a smirk adorned his handsome face.

“I wasn't expecting to see you here,” he spoke to Jungkook. “You usually never show up to these things!”

Jimin stiffened and Jungkook’s hand immediately started to rub circles on his waist. He smiled at Yugyeom, “The hyungs invited Jimin here, and I just didn't want to be away from him.”

Jimin smirked, and felt a blush rise up his cheeks.

“Ah, Jimin,” Yugyeom said. “Almost didn't notice you. Nice to see you here, it must be a nice upgrade from the places you’re used to.”

“Nice to see me?” Jimin asked him. “I wish I could say the same,” he said, wrinkling his nose in disgust and going back to playing on his phone.

“You really should put that little boyfriend of yours in his place, Kook,” Yugeyom told Jungkook snarkily, irritation visible in his tone.

“I think he’s exactly where he should be, Gyeom,” Jungkook told him and moved closer to Jimin, even though there was no more space in between them. “I actually think you’re the one who is out of place.”

Yugyeom scoffed. “Sure, say what you want now. But we all know that a few months down the road, you're going to come crawling back to me.”

“No, I won't,” Jungkook said, as calm as ever. Jimin’s heart, on the other hand, was racing. “I came to you once. Three years ago, and to this day I regret that I did. It took me some time but I’m done with whatever we had. Like, I’m truly, fully, completely done. I’m with Jimin now. And I plan to be for the rest of my life.”

Jimin was struggling between understanding if what Jungkook said was all still part of their act or if he actually meant what he said. He looked away from his phone at Jungkook, whose face was still turned to Yugyeom and instinctively placed a kiss on his cheek.

Jungkook looked back at him in surprise and Jimin smiled at him softly. “I plan to be with you for the rest of my life too,” he said quietly. Just for him to hear. For no one else.

Jungkook bit his lips and Jimin resisted the urge to kiss them. “How much more of that hour do we have left?” he asked, laughing a bit.

“A little over 30 minutes,” Kim Seokjin said, overhearing what Jungkook asked Jimin and  walking towards them and sitting next to Jungkook. “Ah, Yugyeom, never a pleasure to see you,” he said and crossed his legs.

“Hyung, we used to be civil.”

“That was before you broke my best friend’s heart, dick,” Seokjin scoffed. “Go chat someone else up. Don’t you have anything better to do?”

“I can't believe you’re holding onto something that happened years ago!”

“I will hold on to it even in my next life. What is it to you?”

Yugyeom rolled his eyes just as Namjoon walked to their table with a plate of devilled eggs in his hand.

“Hey,” Yugyeom greeted him.

Namjoon nodded once and took a seat next to Seokjin. Yugyeom had the decency to leave then and the group collectively let out a sigh of relief.

“I hate him, I hate him so much,” Jimin said and wrapped his arms around Jungkook’s waist and rested his head on Jungkook’s shoulder. “I have shivers and goosebumps,” he pouted and Jungkook hugged him back, rubbing his hand all over his back.

“He is so gross. I cannot believe the nerve he has, walking up to you two and saying what he did,” Seokjin said.

“You guys should just ignore him like I do. I’ve realized he thrives on attention and it's best not to give him any,” Namjoon told them.

“Yeah, you’re right,” Jungkook agreed.

Namjoon and Seokjin bitched about him a little more but Jungkook was quiet, lost in his own thoughts. His arms were wrapped around Jimin, and he was stroking the younger’s back but his mind was elsewhere.

“Hey,” Jimin brought his attention to him. “Are you okay?”

Jungkook sighed. “I am,” he smiled. “I’m also really glad I came. Or maybe I’m glad because I’m with you.”

Jimin smiled. “I’m glad I’m with you too.”

“Oh, God, you saps,” Seokjin groaned from next to Jungkook. “We have to separate them. Namjoon-ah, take Jimin away, please. If these two are stuck to each other for any longer, they will become one weird conjoined being.”

That’s what you think will happen if we’re stuck to each other any longer?” Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him.

“I do not like to think about the other option, Jungkook-ah. That’s only Namjoon’s thing,” Seokjin said.

“Hey, I didn't even say anything,” Namjoon protested and Jimin laughed.

“Let’s go, hyung,” he told Namjoon. “I can feel my hand getting fused to hyung’s. Seokjin hyung would like to see that?” he said, making Seokjin fake gag in disgust and making Jungkook laugh.

Jungkook kissed him on the cheek once before reluctantly letting him get up. “We’ll bring drinks for everyone,” Namjoon said. “Seokjin hyung, if you could gather everyone around, please? I think it's goodnight time for our Jungkookie.”

“We can leave?” he asked, eyes widening in surprise.

“Yeah, yeah, you’ve been good enough,” Seokjin said. “Good idea on the drinks, too.”

“Let's go, Jimin,” Namjoon said and the two of them walked to the bar. They ordered an assortment of drinks and chatted a bit about the event as they waited for their drinks to be made.

“Hyung, why does everyone still maintain relationships with Yugyeom and his family even after what he did to Jungkook hyung?” Jimin asked him suddenly.

Namjoon’s eyes widened for a second before softening. “You really should ask Jungkook.”

“I did. He told me they were old family friends and that his family was invited everywhere by default.”

“And that is true, Jimin-ah,” Namjoon said. “Look, I didn't grow up in the type of life Seokjin hyung and Jungkookie did, so I don't fully understand. My father was a bank clerk and my mom was a housewife. If someone fought with me, my mom would make sure to not talk to that kid’s parents. But with them, it's so much about appearances and the way people perceive them and to them, that's normal. It's their day to day.”

Jimin nodded, a little confused but still understanding what Namjoon was talking about.

“You’re having trouble really understanding it too, aren't you?” Namjoon asked with a kind smile and Jimin nodded again.

“It does take some time getting used to. It's like - Minyoung’s parents. They’re homophobes, but Insook Eomonim will invite them to her events and they will show up because neither wants to show the other that they’re below or lesser than them. Chaeyoung had put a ban on Yugyeom entering the Jeons’ mansion in Seoul, but she had to lift the ban because Yugyeom’s mother told Insook Eomonim that she was making a scene. And the last thing an elite wants is for a scene to be made. They hated doing it, but they ended up inviting Yugyeom to their events again. Jungkook has ditched so many of his mother’s soirees because of it, but his mother never said anything to him about it. There’s no way she would.”

“Hyung, that's so much pressure on all of them. And that is so unnecessary,” Jimin said, rubbing his face. “I can't even imagine half the shit hyung has to go through sometimes. I like the lifestyle but I am so glad I did not grow up the way he did.”

“You and me, both,” Namjoon agreed. “Poor Jungkookie. Being an openly gay kid in Seoul in the early 2000s was already awful for the lot of us, imagine having to keep up appearances for people who genuinely wish you the worst. Jungkook really came out stronger and better than most of us.”

“What about Seokjin hyung?” Jimin asked out of curiosity.

“Hyung’s family was a lot like Jungkook’s, but hyung had… different ways of coping. Alcohol, sex, weed, I think some hard drugs too, but that was only a few times. All said and done,  hyung’s a genius.” Jimin whipped his head towards Namjoon.

“You’re calling Seokjin hyung a genius?” he asked, shocked.

“Yeah. This whole aloof guy thing is an act. He is fun to be with and loves to let loose but he is an actual literal genius. He makes millions of won in a minute and has things set at his company at least until 2050. Including freezing assets and bank transactions. He’s ridiculous, really,” Namjoon said and Jimin turned to look at Seokjin. He was making a funny face at Jungkook, making the younger one laugh loudly. It was confusing to wrap his head around what Namjoon had just said while seeing the scene in front of him. But Jimin knew better than to judge a book by its cover.

He noticed how the seat at the corner of the couch was kept empty by Jungkook, while the others were occupying the other seats on the couch. Jimin quietly smiled and turned back around to go to namjoon who was getting their drinks.

“I’ll take this bunch to them,” he said. “You get the rest of the drinks.”

Jimin nodded and waited for Namjoon to leave and then walked to the bar and looked at the bartender expertly playing the drinks on a big round tray.

“Are you sure you don't need me to come give you your drinks, sir?” the bartender asked him and Jimin shook his head.

“Not at all! Thank you for our drinks,” he said and bowed his head softly. He picked up the tray carefully and walked towards the couch.

He almost faltered when he noticed that his seat was taken by Yugyeom and that Yugyeom was sitting just entirely too close to Jungkook but he schooled his expression and quietly placed the drinks on the table. They all loudly thanked him and the people with no drinks in their hands picked up a glass, leaving only two on the tray - one for jimin and one for jungkook.

“You should find a spare stool or something, Jimin-ssi,” Yugyeom said, holding a bright blue drink and twirling around the straw in his mouth. “We don't want you standing the entire night.”

“Jimin-ah, come sit here. I’ll find a chair,” Namjoon offered immediately and Jimin shook his head, smiling politely.

“No need, Namjoonie hyung,” he told Namjoon. He smirked and continued, “I have a perfectly good seat just waiting for me. Hyung, if you will.”

He walked to stand directly in front of Jungkook, with everyone’s eyes trained on him and cleared his throat.

“Ahh,” Jungkook said, understanding what Jimin meant and opened up his legs. He also straightened and widened his back (and made Yugeyom squeeze further into the corner of the couch) and Jimin smiled as he plopped himself right down on Jungkook’s lap.

“There,” Jimin said and smiled towards Yugyeom. “No spare stools necessary.”

Jungkook’s arms came possessively around Jimin’s waist and he placed a kiss on his nape. “You are so sexy, Jimin-ah,” he whispered and Jimin smiled as he agreed with him.

The chatter on the couch soon changed to everyone getting slightly buzzed and becoming slightly rowdy. It didn't help that the song the DJ was playing was another dance track and although Jimin wanted to get up and dance, he was extremely comfortable in Jungkook’s lap.

Yugyeom stayed for a minute more, and then got up, making sure to pointedly look at Jimin as he rolled his eyes and walked away. Jimin laughed and got even more comfortable than he was, noticing that the small movements of his hips on Jungkook’s lap made the elder hold on to his waist a bit more possessively every single time.

Jimin laughed and moved to get off Jungkook’s lap, but he was stopped by a “No,” being whispered into his ear.

“Hyung, let me sit on the couch,” Jimin tried again. “I won't be away from you.”

“No,” Jungkook said again and hid his face in Jimin’s nape. “Need you here, can't have you anywhere else.”

Jimin sighed and leaned into Jungkook. “But what if I want to dance?” he teased. “The DJ is playing all my favorite songs.”

“Dance here,” Jungkook’s muffled voice said and he kissed Jimin’s back.

Jimin giggled and then decided that he wanted to play with Jungkook. Most of the crowd had cleared from the couch. Seokjin and Namjoon were occupied in a conversation about coffee, it seemed like and barely paid any attention to what Jungkook and Jimin were up to and Jimin decided that he wanted to torture Jungkook just a little bit.

He knew the song that was playing and when the bass trembled in the song, he rolled his hips right on Jungkook’s thigh, making Jungkook gasp and bring both his hands grab onto Jimin’s waist. The song wasn't suggestive in any way, but this was Jimin. He could make anything sexy. He rolled his hips a few more times before Jungkook snaked his arm around his waist and made him stop.

“Don’t, Jimin-ah,” he said. “Stop it.”

Jimin bit his lip “Why hyung? What's wrong?” he asked, innocently.

“Don't pretend to not know what you’re doing,” Jungkook told him. “If you don't stop, everyone’s attention is going to be us, and not on the DJ.”

“Then maybe you should do something about it, shouldn't you?” Jimin challenged. “I have no problem with anyone looking at us.”

“Jimin…”

“Take me away from here,” Jimin whined. “This is a resort, there are tons and tons of rooms. Take me to any one of them, hyung, please.”

Jimin had no idea how, but one second he was sitting on Jungkook’s lap and the next he was flying out of the tent, being led away by Jungkook as Seokjin and Namjoon laughed behind them and wolf whistled.

Jungkook never let go of Jimin’s hand - not when he spoke to the front office while getting a room of them, not when the concierge led them to said room, and not even when he left and they were suddenly alone, in the room. It wasn't like they hadn't been alone in a room before, but the implication of this particular scenario was not lost on them.

Jungkook finally let go of Jimin’s hand to take a seat on the edge of the bed. He put his head in his hands and before he could be led away by his thoughts, Jimin walked to him and crouched down in front of him.

“Hey,” he whispered softly, removing Jungkook’s hands from his face. “If you don't want this, we can just lie down and go to sleep.”

Jungkook shook his head fast. “No, no, I want… I want you, Jimin-ah.”

Jimin bit back a smile. “Then take me.”

Jungkook surged forward and hid his head in Jimin’s neck. He cupped the younger’s face and raised him up, guiding him to the bed as he ravaged his neck and Jimin moaned, knowing that his neck would be covered in dark purple and red spots and enjoying how much he loved it.

Jungkook laid Jimin down and hovered over him. He looked at his lips and Jimin instantly knew what Jungkook wanted. He nodded once, softly, just enough to let Jugnkook know that he wanted this as much as him.

“Kiss?” Jungkook asked him.

Jimin nodded quickly and surged forward to place his lips on the Jungkook’s. For a moment, they were still. Just lips touching one another, just them feeling each others’ presence. And then they were lost in each other.

Jimin kissed him with abandon, kissed him like he wouldn't kiss anyone else ever again. Jungkook moaned through the kiss and parted his lips, giving Jimin access into his mouth. Jimin’s hands found purchase in Jungkook’s hair and his tongue massaged the elder’s tongue, eliciting muted moans from Jungkook.

“Please,” Jungkook whispered to him and Jimin parted away from him for a second, only to take his sweater off. There was a sheen of sweat on his skin and Jungkook looked at him as if he was the only man on the planet.

Jimin tugged on Jungkook’s jacket, which came off in one swift movement and then he proceeded to take off Jungkook’s dark blue shirt, pulling it free from where it was tucked in his pants and unbuttoning it quickly.

Jimin knew that Jungkook had a very good looking body. He just wasn't prepared to see exactly how good looking he was. He noticed sculpted abs, and perfectly shaped pectoral muscles and blew a low whistle. Jungkook had not taken his shirt off, but the buttons of his shirt were undone and that was enough for Jimin. He grinned and placed a kiss on his pectoral muscle, moving lower and slowly until he reached Jungkook’s pert nipple. The bud was erect and Jimin blew warm air on it before placing a soft kiss on it and taking it in his mouth.

Unh - Jimin-ah,” Jungkook moaned out loud and held Jimin’s nape close to his chest.

“Do you like that, hyung?” Jimin asked him in between kisses and soft licks to his nipple. Jungkook nodded and he moved to the other bud, repeating his motions and making Jungkook moan louder.

“I like everything you do to me,” Jungkook said and Jimin smiled.

Jimin maneuvers them so that Jungkook is placed by the headboard and then he straddles the elder, placing himself right on Jungkook’s crotch, feeling his hard length below him.

Jungkook’s arms automatically come around Jimin’s small waist and he guides the younger over his clothed cock, making him move over it, almost riding. So close, but not quite there yet.

“So hard for me, hyung,” Jimin said as he rolled his hips again, making Jungkook moan.

“Too many clothes,” Jungkook said and took his shirt off in one fell swoop. He cupped Jimin’s face and placed a hard kiss on his pillowy soft lips.

A soft breath was released from Jimin’s nose before Jungkook rushed forward to crush their lips together, over and over again.

Nothing about their kisses were soft. They were hungry for each other,  almost aggressive with a hint of possessiveness that made Jimin’s gut stir with the feeling of warmth and excitement. He could feel his body reacting to the emotions that he had just acknowledged and the feelings that Jungkook was giving rise to.

He was heating up under his jeans, which were suddenly becoming tighter around the front, and the warmth flooding his body quickly heated up his face at the realization that he was getting turned on by the kissing and grinding.

Jimin wasn't unfamiliar with these feelings, but the intensity was something he had never experienced before. One look at Jungkook and he knew the elder was feeling all the feelings he was as well. Jimin pushed away from Jungkook and started to undo his slacks, Jungkook caught on and unbuttoned Jimin’s jeans. They took only a few seconds to get completely naked and then Jungkook dragged Jimin onto the bed, underneath him.

Jimin looked up at Jungkook, who was staring at him with big, brown eyes. He looked at him as if he was almost as much in love with Jimin as the younger one was with him. Jimin imagined that this was how every night with Jungkook would be. How it could be. They could work through the day, and then come home to each other. Eat together in Jimin’s living room, while they sat on the floor, and then retire to his room, to make love to each other any time they want to. All the time, in Jimin’s opinion.

The thought is so abrupt and unexpected that it scares Jimin a little bit. It scares him how much he actually wants it. He had no idea about what Jungkook felt. He had no clue if Jungkook even felt anything, or if this was just another fun night night for him. But Jimin knew to listen to his heart, no matter how fucking cheesy that sounds.

It was about sharing something with someone he loves, and having that with Jungkook is something he wanted so badly. He craved his touch, his presence, his words, his kindness. He craved the way Jungkook made him feel like he was the only person who mattered. He knew he was being greedy, and he knew that if Jungkook didn't feel the same way he did, he would be done for. He just wanted to know, but maybe this wasn't the time for him to ask.

He pulled back just a little, his face was still close to Jungkook’s, their heavy breaths mingling together so perfectly. He stared into Jungkook’s eyes, pupils dilated, skin warm to the touch. There was love and longing there, and he wondered if Jungkook wanted the same thing as he does. Jimin swallowed, unable to comprehend what he was seeing because his heart wanted to believe but his mind wasn’t letting him do so.

His eyes kept their hold on Jungkook’s as he slowly grinded his hips forward into Jungkook's, and he felt Jungkook shiver, and closed his eyes as Jungkook’s hand snaked to hold Jimin’s erect cock.

“Look at you so hard for me,” he heard Jungkook whisper to him, as he stroked Jimin’s cock a few times. Jungkook’s voice was thick with want. “Do you want me, Jimin-ah?”

Jimin nodded, eyes still closed and he felt Jungkook’s hand disappear from his cock. He kept his eyes closed but felt a pair of fingers touch his lips. He opened his mouth on instinct and Jungkook pushed two fingers into his warm mouth.

“Suck,” he told him and Jiming closed his mouth around the digits and sucked. He wet Jungkook’s fingers as much as he could and then opened his mouth, letting Jungkook take his fingers away from his mouth and towards his ass.

“Hyung, that won't be enough,” Jimin told him quickly and Jungkook smiled.

“I came prepared, baby,” Jungkook said and a shiver ran up Jimin’s spine at the familiar nickname. “But I get to tease you a little bit, don’t I?” He smirked and pressed a wet finger to Jimin’s waiting hole.

Jimin moaned, biting down on his lip and his eyes closed. Jungkook really was teasing him. He didn't enter him, but he made sure to tease and press in a way that made Jimin curl his toes and beg for Jungkook to just do something more.

Jungkook’s hand disappeared and he got off the bed to walk to where his pants had fallen and took out a golden condom wrapper and a packet of lube from his wallet.

“You always walk around with condoms and lube in your wallet?” Jimin asked him from where he was sprawled on the bed.

“Only after I met you,” Jungkook said and jumped onto the bed, placing a deep kiss on Jimin’s lips.

“I don't believe you.”

“You should,” Jungkook said as he opened up the condom wrapper. “That day at Fyre was such a coincidence. And after we had ice cream at your place, I just started carrying condoms in my wallet. For no reason.”

“Oh? No reason? That's hurtful,” Jimin said, mockingly. “Aren't I reason enough?”

Jungkook smiled at Jiming softly. “You’re too special to me to fuck this up, Jimin. I wanted you from the second you walked out of your room that night we went to my mom’s birthday party. I just.. I wanted you in ways you might not have wanted me. I think I still do. Its just -”

“Stop,” Jimin told him quickly. Every word that Jungkook said made his heart beat faster and faster and he wanted Jungkook to shut up before his heart beat out of his chest. “We will talk about this, but not right now. Later.”

“Too turned on for feelings?” Jungkook asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

“Yes and no,” Jimin said. “These are important conversations that we should, but only after we both have cum. More specifically after you have cum in me.”

“Jimin-ah!”

“Did I say something wrong?” Jimin challenged.

Jungkook laughed and shook his head, placing another kiss on Jimin’s lips. “You never do.”

He opened the packet of lube and wet his hands, warming the cool liquid up a bit and went back to his position hovering over Jimin. They were really touching everywhere, from their toes, their legs, waist, torso. Only their heads were not touching but that was because Jungkook wanted to look at Jimin.

Jungkook brought his finger to Jimin’s waiting hole and pushed in slightly. There was a burn but it was so, so welcome to Jimin that he didn't even register any pain. It took him a few seconds but Jimin adjusted to the intrusion with ease and then he wanted more.

He guided Jungkook through it all, and told him that he would only be satisfied when he had Jungkook’s cock in him and after four fingers, Jungkook finally relented.

He put the condom on, covered his hard cock with the remaining lube and lined up with Jimin’s entrance.

“Jimin-ah?”

“Mmhmm,” Jimin said, looking up at him from where he lay underneath Jungkook.

“You’re so beautiful, baby,” Jungkook said and then he pushed in. Jimin felt his eyes roll to the back of his head and when Jungkook bottomed out, he swore he felt him in his chest.

It shouldn't be surprising to Jimin, in all honesty. They have fucked before. They fucked hard, and fast and Jimin loved it. He thought of it all the time. The way Jungkook looked that night, the way his leather jacket fit on his body as if it was made for him. The way he whispered compliments into Jimin’s ear, the way he even forgot his name. Jimin remembered it all.

But for some reason, that night couldn't even compare to what was happening at this very moment and how Jimin was feeling. He felt like he was flying. He felt as if the whole world had faded away and it was only him and Jungkook on the entire planet.

His arms were wrapped around Jungkook’s neck and Jungkook’s hands were by his head. Jimin could feel Jungkook’s legs entangled in his own and he could feel his dick pulsating inside him. Jimin wanted to scream, he was sure he would once Jungkook started to actually fuck him. He had raised his hip enough to accommodate Jungkook well.

The whole world went still when Jungkook entered Jimin. Jungkook looked at Jimin, he looked at him in a way that made Jimin realize that no one had ever actually really looked at him. Was this how Hobi hyung and Yoongi hyung felt? Was this really what love felt like? Did Jungkook feel the same way that Jimin did?

He would call it a coincidence later on but when Jungkook nodded at him, as if echoing his thoughts, Jimin felt his heart skip a beat and he surged to kiss Jungkook on the lips.

“Please,” he said in between kisses. “Please, hyung, fuck me, please.”

Jungkook wasted no time and gave in to Jimin. He started off slow, but when he picked up pace, thrusting into Jimin with everything he had, it was hard for Jimin to stay quiet.

The room was filled with the sounds of the two men moaning into each other’s mouths. Jungkook grunted every time he pushed into Jimin and Jimin moaned every time he felt Jungkook’s cock hit his prostate. Jungkook was big and thick, and Jimin honestly wondered how he had gone all these years without Jungkook in him.

“Jimin-ah, fuck,” Jungkook moaned, into Jimin’s neck. “You feel so good, baby. Made for me, aren't you?”

Jimin nodded quickly. “Only for you, only for you.”

“Say my name, baby. Call me by my name,” Jungkook told him and kissed his bare shoulder. “Let me hear you.”

Jimin swallowed. Sure, he had called Jungkook by his name several times, but it felt more than intimate calling out his name while they were having sex. Even more so when Jungkook was older than he was. But Jungkook wanted it, and how could Jimin deny anything to him.

“Jung - Jungkook-ah ,” he whispered, suddenly shy about the entire ordeal. Jungkook looked up from his place in Jimin’s neck and smiled at him.

“Louder. Tell me how I make you feel, baby,” he said.

Oh Jimin could wax poetry about the way he was making him feel, but his thoughts couldn't form coherent sentences.

“Jungkook-ah,” he moaned. “I feel so full. I feel so good, Jungkook-ah,” he said. “I feel you here,” he said and placed his hand on his lower belly.

Jungkook moaned. “Jimin-ah, fuck, what are you doing to me?”

“Please, more - ungh - please hyung, more.”

Jungkook adjusted just a little bit before smirking once and pounding into Jimin. Jimin was leaking precum all over his stomach and Jungkook;s thrust made him writhe on the bed.

“I’m close, Jimin-ah,” Jungkook growled into Jimin’s ear and brought his forehead to Jimin’s.

“Me too, me too,” Jimin mumbled and Jungkook kissed him hard as he came into the condom.

“Hyung, please,” Jimin whispered to him and Jungkook grabbed onto Jimin’s hard cock and pleasured him only half a dozen times until Jimin was coming all over Jungkook’s hand and his own stomach.

Jimin and Jungkook were panting by the time they were done. There was a layer of sweat on both their bodies and they lay close to each other.

Jungkook had tied up the condom and thrown it into the trashcan near their bed and had wiped his hand and Jimin’s stomach as best as he could. He was catching his breath when Jimin whispered, “Shower?”

Jungkook nodded. “Give me a minute to catch my breath?”

“Take all the time you need,'' Jimin said. “I can't even stand so you’ll have to do all the heavy lifting.”

Jungkook laughed once before rolling over to Jimin and kissing him on his forehead.

“You’re really the most beautiful man I have ever seen, Jimin-ah,” he told him.

“You should look in the mirror, hyung. Your opinion might change.”

Jungkook shook his head, but the tips of his ears were red. “Just take the compliment when I give you one.”

“Fine, I will,” Jimin said and kissed him on the lips. Once, twice, three times for good measure. “I love kissing you, hyung.”

Jungkook nodded and deepened the kiss. “We’re idiots for not doing this sooner.”

“This?” Jimin asked, his heart racing.

“Yeah. Kissing, cuddling, loving,” Jungkook said, offhandedly and continued to kiss jimin. Jimin lost himself in the kiss and the feeling of Jungkook’s hands roaming all over his body.

A few minutes later Jungkook asked him if he was hungry for pizza and Jimin nodded. They walked into the shower together and Jungkook innocently washed them both off and by the time they were done, their pizza had arrived.

They shared the slices among them and then stared at the moon in the night sky from where they were lying down cuddled up with each other on the bed.

They knew they had a lot to talk about and they would, but right now, this was all they ever wanted and they were happy. They were really happy.

“You know,” Chaeyoung said as she nibbled on some baby carrots. “Seokjin oppa and Namjoonie did go home last night. I know because I called them. And I called them because my brother in law and his boyfriend didn't come home and refused to pick up any of my calls. Would you happen to know anything about that, Jimin-ah?”

Jimin shook his head and walked to the other side of the kitchen, picking up some granulated sugar to add to his mixing bowl.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about, noona,” he told her and added the required amount of sugar in the bowl.

“Do you want me to show you a mirror so that the hickey on your neck can jog your memory?” she asked him, big eyes blinking at him innocently.

“I don't believe in mirrors, actually,” Jimin told her and added the wet ingredients of the cake into the dry, slowly incorporating them both to make a smooth chocolate cake batter.

“Jimin-ah! Just tell me,” Chaeyoung whined to him.

“What do you want me to say?” Jimin asked her, still continuing to fold the cake batter. “I had a great night with my great boyfriend. It's not like you don't know what great nights are. That baby in your tummy is proof that you do!”

“I need details, Jimin,” she said. “What did he say? What did he do? You both are always joined at the hip but when you walked into the house this morning, I swear Jungkook looked at you like he was going to propose!”

“He was going to do no such thing, noona, my God,” Jimin said and laughed.

The oven had been preheated and his cake tin had been buttered and lined with parchment paper. He decided that the batter had been incorporated well and he began pouring it into the cake tin.

“Listen to me,” he told Chaeyoung. “You need to let the cake out in 40 minutes and then let it rest okay? I will come and decorate it, but in case I get distracted, I need you to just pour this icing on it once it's cooled down completely, okay.”

“Oooh, distracted,” Chaeyoung sang.

“Noona, concentrate! I want to make this cake good for Eomonim, please!”

“Jimin, you could serve wet mud to anyone in this house and they’d only sing your praises,” Chaeyoung said. “Eomma is very impressed by you. You don't have to do this.”

“But I do,” Jimin protested. “She told me how hyung’s dad used to bake her this on her birthday and I found the same pillsbury box mix! I just hope it tastes good.”

“It will, baby,” she told him. “Forty minutes right? I’ll remember to get it out of the oven and let it cool, if you get distracted.”

Jimin laughed. “Thanks, noona.”

He placed the cake tin into the oven and set the timer. “I'm going to find hyung. What are you going to do?”

“Nap,” Chaeyoung saud and yawned. “I’ll set my alarm for 35 minutes.”

“That sounds good. If you don't come, that's okay too. I’ll be here,” he smiled and Chaeyoung left the kitchen to get some rest.

Jimin wanted to clean up before he went to find Jungkook and with that came thoughts about the previous night and all his feelings for Jungkook.

If he didn't already know then, he definitely knew now. Jimin was in love with Jungkook, and there were no two ways about it. Jungkook had treated him like he was a diamond. He had treated him better than any other man ever had. He had treated him in a way that made Jimin believe that Jungkook had feelings for him too.

Jimin bit his lip to hide his smile. He wanted to believe it. Jungkook made him want to believe it.

They had cuddled the entire night and Jungkook had whispered sweet nothings into Jimin’s ears until they had fallen asleep. They woke up entangled with each other and Jungkook kissed him and pleasured him until he was a moaning writhing mess, and then had proceeded to lick Jimin clean. Jimin had blown him as thanks, and Jungkook had joked about how he had met God.

They had breakfast delivered to their room and spent the whole morning feeding each other and being so cute that Jimin was sure Seokjin would have gagged if he had seen them. He laughed, thinking about the perfect morning he had.

He cleaned up as best he could and when he was satisfied, he walked towards the garden where he knew Jungkook was working out.

He smiled as the warm rays of the late afternoon sun hit him. He felt warm all over.

He walked towards the area near the pool where he knew Jungkook was working out in the gym. He was always so confused when he walked to the area because the door was never where it was supposed to be and if someone was working out in the gym, they wouldn't know that someone was coming until they entered the gym.

Jimin laughed, thinking about how he could surprise Jungkook, perhaps without his shirt, maybe.

He walked quietly and heard Jungkook talk to someone, and when he was closer, he could make out that the other voice was of Namjoon’s. He didn't know that Namjoon had come over. He was probably in the kitchen.

Jimin smiled, as he entered the gym, but something he heard made him stop in his tracks.

“Are you serious?” Namjoon asked Jungkook. “You're sure about this, Kook?”

“I am, hyung,” Jungkook replied to him. “It was always supposed to be a farce, right? It's an act. Jimin and I were never supposed to actually be together.”

Jimin felt his heart break at Jungkook’s words. He felt his hands shake by his side.

“Kook,” Namjoon interrupted him.

“No, no, hyung, listen,” Jungkook said, hurriedly. “Everyone believed it. Everyone believed us. An act - this entire time and everyone bought into it. It was the perfect plan. No feelings, just a favor, a transaction. That was all it was supposed to be. Just that. I mean, we’re literally worlds apart. We were never even supposed to meet each other. This was never supposed to happen.”

Jimin’s jaw dropped. He stepped away from the gym.

He was an idiot.

He was the idiot who went and fell in love with the man who asked him to fake being his boyfriend.

He was the idiot who fell hard and fast, and made up stories in his head about this whole relationship while all this time, it was just an act to Jungkook. Of course, it was.

How could it be anything but that?

Jungkook wasn't at fault. It was Jimin. It was Jimin who fell. It was Jimin who did the one thing he was not supposed to. It was Jimin who did that thing that he promised Taehyung he wouldn't do. Jimin was the idiot.

The whole world spun as he walked on shaky legs into the house. He needed to get out. He needed to leave. There was no way he could stay here for a minute longer.

He could make an excuse. He could say he fell sick and went back home.

No one would stop him. No one could.

He made his way to the bedroom he shared with Jungkook and couldn't even stomach packing all of his things.

He found his wallet by the night stand and his phone that was plugged into the charger close by. He took his wallet, unplugged his phone and walked out of the room, not bothering to get anything else.

He wanted to vomit, he felt like he was going to. But he calmed himself down and controlled himself. He would be fine if he got out of the house. He would be fine if he was on his way back to Seoul.

Fuck, Jeju island was a bad idea. It was the worst idea he had ever had.

Jimin wobbled down the stairs. It was a miracle he hadn't broken down in tears.

He knew there was a car always waiting by the door to get the residents of the house to where they wanted to do and he walked out the door, looking for the driver,

“Jimin?” a voice called out behind him and he turned to see Junghyun. “Hey, are you okay? You look a little sick.”

“Fine,” Jimin croaked out. The tears were here now. Fuck. “I’m fine, hyung. I just need to get away for a while.”

“You want to leave?” Junghyun asked, confused. “Is everything okay, Jimin-ah?”

Jimin nodded and his tears threatened to fall over. “I’m just gonna go. I’ll see you later, hyung.”

He called for the driver who had the car ready to go.

“Wait, let me get Jungkook, he can take you where you want to go,” Junghyung offered.

Hearing Jungkook’s name suddenly made bile rise up Jimin’s throat. He was panting, the world was caving in and his vision was going black, He needed to get out. He needed to get away.

“No, no, I’m fine,” he lied and swallowed. “I just - I gotta go, hyung. I have to leave,” he said and got into the waiting car.

“Jimin! Jimin-ah!” He heard Junghyun call out to him but he begged the driver to leave the premises of the house and the driver complied.

“The airport, please,” Jimin said. “I want to go home.”

The driver nodded once and they were off.

It took Jungkook a minute and a half to call Jimin on his phone. As soon as the phone lit up with Jungkook’s name, Jimin cut the call and turned his phone off.

He asked the driver to do the same, and the driver begrudgingly agreed.

It took him forty minutes to get to the airport. It took him twenty minutes to get a ticket on the next flight to Seoul. He had to wait for an hour until boarding started.

He spent half of that time crying in a bathroom stall.

Jeju was a bad idea. It was the worst idea Jimin had ever had and he cursed because he knew Taehyung was right.

Taehyung was always right.
